Greek Trio - A must have! Outstanding!
    Andrew M.

Great choice in visiting Gus & Us! Fantastic chicken lemon rice soup, gyro meat, rice topped with red sauce, and Greek-style green beans. Absolutely fantastic sliced off the spit gyro meat, and the green beans are on another level - fresh green beans mixed with a sauce comprised of tomatoes, garlic, and onions. Wowed! Very clean restaurant with great service. The only thing I would change is to grill the pita that came with the gyro platter. It was served cold; should be warm/grilled pita bread. Must visit again soon. Been too long since my last visit.

Stuffed peppers stuffed with rice and a little meat

Service was great, friendly and helpful My brother's omelet was perfect for him. I was a little disappointed in my stuffed peppers. The "stuffing " was mostly rice with a little meat. Most of the meat was on the top portion of pepper. And for some reason it tasted like dill pickles to me. The chicken pot pie soup was OUTSTANDING. I would actually go back to order that again.

Western Omlette with pancakes and toast

Friendly local restaurant with good breakfast food. The staff were great. They greeted us quickly and served us attentively. Breakkfast menu had the standard fare, reasonably prices and very yummy. I had the western omelette, which came with toast and my choice of grits, hash browns or pancakes. I chose the pancakes, which were very nice. Coffee was hot and plentiful, too. There were plenty of locals in the restaurant, which I took as a good sign on this Sunday morning.

This used to be one of my favorite coney islands but I'm a little disappointed in the amount of chicken you get in a large salad. They minced the chicken like crazy and then they grill it so much that it just comes out like a crunchy crouton. It felt like barely half a chicken was in there, I think they should go back to their old grilled chicken that they used to use.

Chicken lemon rice soup and bread basket

My first time dining here, my boyfriend comes here regularly. I decided to get the stuffed cabbage roll special. I got chicken lemon rice soup with it, it was delicious soup that was served with fresh bread & butter and oysters crackers. The cabbage rolls were pretty good, maybe the sauce (red gravy) was I liked least. The mashed potatoes could have been hotter, but decent. The meal came with mixed veggies that were good. My boyfriend ordered eggs with sides of bacon, sausage and gyro meat. He enjoyed everything, the scrambled eggs looked like they were cooked perfectly. The menu was huge, so many types of dishes to choose from, I'd definitely come back for soup, since they had several a day and are known for their homemade soups. Our server was Shelby, she was very attentive and friendly. Super nice person!

My friend recommended the salad - due in no small part to the tasty dressing.

Gus and Us is a Coney Island-ish neighborhood diner conveniently located near work. The parking lot is large, to accommodate the extra-large crowds this restaurant attracts. On a recent Friday, the lunch/takeout line was out the door but my friend reassured me that the line would move quickly - which it did. The menu is huge with diner offerings: soups, salads, sandwiches, and burgers. As well, there are Greek specialties such as saganaki and tzatziki apps, pastitsio, moussaka, spinach pie, and stuffed grape leaves. Despite these goodies reminiscent of my childhood, I was in the mood for breakfast for lunch so I ordered the gyro and feta omelet. The three-egg omelet with feta folded in included chunks of tomato and onions and served with crispy hash browns and toast. Breakfast must include toast! Yum! Service was friendly; our dishes were quickly cleared.

Everything is good, from the breakfast to the fresh daily made specials. My kids love the Saganki (flaming cheese) and the chicken lemon rice soups! Me, I love the burgers and a Bloody Mary! So good!

Food was good I ordered Saganaki the cheese was a nice size not thin like a lot of places only thing is I wish the bread was different that they serve with with it. The menu is huge they gave me three different ones it was overwhelming so I ordered a Turkey Ruben and a Greek mini salad. Of course my eyes are always bigger than my stomach I ate half the sandwich couldn't get to the salad I took it home. I have one complaint about the salad none of the lettuce was green it was all white and yellow pieces so the salad was not the best but I took it home and it for dinner. The place is clean not real big in there but enough room. My waitress was nice and attentive and I'll definitely go back especially for that Saganaki!

Dellah Coffee & Brunch House is a not-so-hidden gem in Dearborn, MI, serving Yemeni-American food…read moreto the large Arab population in Dearborn as well as to tourists like my boyfriend and I. Dellah is located on a mixed residential and commercial street with plenty of parking nearby. We chose to eat lunch here in June 2026 since it wasn't too far from our hotel and we saw that they had outdoor seating - important since we had my little dog with us. The place was very busy but since we were eating outside, we had no wait and we were waited upon promptly. There are a LOT of American choices on here (like sugary pancakes) but a third of the menu consists of Yemeni food. I got a traditional Yemeni tea ($4.50) and my boyfriend sipped on a smooth matcha latte ($6.50). We had a big breakfast that morning, so we chose to just share the lahm sighar ($20), which comes with a piece of khuba bread, and also order an additional khuba bread ($2). About 15 minutes later, our food was ready and after taking the necessary pictures, we dug in! Needless to say, the extra bread was not necessary. I don't know what we were thinking but we assumed a piece of khuba was small. Nope! Each piece is the size of my 17-inch computer. Anyway, we used bits of the khuba as silverware to pick up the deliciously tender lahm sighar, something I saw others do when I went inside to use the bathroom and nosily looked around. I must mention that the BATHROOM HAS A BIDET. I REPEAT. BATHROOM HAS A BIDET!!!! Hehe :) seeing it just made me happy lol. So anyway, I saw that the coffee section of Dellah is set up inside like a traditional coffee shop where you can grab and go some coffee, tea, and pastries if you'd like. I did grab my bf, dog, and I some water from the coffee counter, which is self-service. We didn't leave a crumb behind and loved our food here. I would happily come back again! There is a 3% card surcharge fee so I paid the bill with cash, which came out to about 45 dollars after tax and tip. A little pricey, thanks to our expensive drinks, but so yummy!

I came here with our team. There was 10 of us in our party…read more Not sure whose idea among the Dellah staff thought it was a good idea to squeeze so many guys and me at two small tables by the door. This was an awful table to be at in here. We hardly had elbow room or table space, especially after the giant platter sized bread was out with all of the breakfast/ brunch items for half of the table. I ordered the Fazolia. Everyone else got omelets, burgers or wrap items. Yes, a couple of team members weren't keen on ordering Fasolia with scrambled eggs, large Greek salad, 2 lahm sighar (one with potato and one quit eggs), 2 smashed burger, Yemeni scrambled eggs, chicken fajita, Greek skillet, southwest skillet, chicken wrap, coffee, tea without milk, Turkish coffee, mint lemonade refresher. Every team member said their food was good. The scrambled eggs are a tad runny and looked a bit puréed. The fasolia has good flavor and even better with some heat. It came out piping hot. Without the added eggs, this dish would be woefully lacking in substance for me. I would likely still be left hungry with the beans alone, since I don't eat the bread, generally. I tried the bread to give it a go, it's good. The Greek salad is nicely plated or bowled rather. The ingredients are in separate piles and looks like a pinwheel. The red onions were crudely cut. The tomatoes looked wrinkled and not so appealing. The Greek salad was underwhelming for me. The tea doesn't taste good, definitely need some honey, sugar or the milk here, although I favor nothing in my tea.

First things first,…read morethey do not take reservations and they are always on a wait, that should tell you that they are good. We arrived in the middle of a snowstorm on a weekday. It was a Friday though around 11am and, predictably, they had a wait. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. It was totally worth the wait. Their ambiance is cute- the hallway is clean, they have bench seating and they put you on the list to get a text, so you could sit in the car if you really wanted to; we did not. They could use a foyer though. It was 22 degrees and snowing so every time the door opened we were instantly freezing. The menu is massive so if you're trying this for the first time and you're from out of town, honey bring as many friends as you can so that you guys can order everything!! Theeeee must have that I tried were the smoked wings. I have never had wings that were smoked and then fried baby they were crispy. They were seasoned to the bone and were delicious. I almost ate them all and had no room for anything else. We also did the berry pancakes which could feed 3-5 people alone; second of all, they're not overly sweet, which is why I did berries and not the peaches or anything like that; and, third of all, the pancakes are the size of your face, but they are fluffy and melt in your mouth! These were easily top two pancakes I've had in my life. We also tried the shrimp and grits, also a 10/10. A generous portion of shrimp, not overcooked and the sauce was bomb. They do put bacon on it if you're not a bacon eater pay attention. I tasted around it anyways but yes, we also tried a vegetarian omelette with home fries. This was just a 7/10 but probably because we only ever tasted it reheated because we were too full to touch it. It was 3 entrees and an appetizer and was definitely enough food to feed a family of seven. This is a must visit place, so if you are in the area and have never been: make time!!!! And take some friends. Each plate is a day's worth of calories!

Service was nice and everyone in the restaurant worked as a team. It was also very clean in the inside. Prices were very reasonable as well. I will gladly give them my business again.

The hash was delicious and the presentation was incredible but unfortunately, it was over spiced for my liking. I could taste freshly crushed black pepper in every bite and it over powered the other flavors of the dish. At a higher price point, I'd expect the dish to have a better combo of flavors. During that call, the hostess assured us that we would not be charged the $50 cancellation charge. As it turned out, we were able to come in that same evening and dined at the restaurant, first enjoying drinks in front of the fireplace then being serviced by our favorite waiter, Paul. Despite this, a $300 cancellation fee was later charged to our card. When I contacted the restaurant to resolve the issue, the matter was escalated to management. The response focused solely on reiterating the OpenTable cancellation policy, without addressing the specific circumstances: we called in advance, were told we would not be charged, and ultimately honored the reservation by dining that evening. We have also stayed at the hotel and previously rented the private dining room, so this was not a one-time visit. That history made the interaction particularly disappointing. Policies are important, but so is discretion and guest communication. In this instance, the service experience did not reflect the level of hospitality one would expect. I hope this feedback encourages a review of how guest concerns are handled moving forward.
