Title: Longtime Customer Deeply Disappointed - Canceling Our Gold Package I've been a loyal Four Seasons AC customer for over three years, but this past week has left me incredibly disappointed--and frankly, concerned. On Tuesday, Robert D. came to perform our biannual maintenance under our Gold Package ($349/year), which we also renewed at the end of the appointment. The visit was quick, and we were told everything looked fine. That same night, we noticed our AC wasn't turning on. On Wednesday, the thermostat began turning on and off intermittently. We thought maybe it was just a quick glitch in the system and waited to see if it would correct itself--but by Thursday, the issue persisted. That's when I phoned the office, concerned that something had gone wrong--especially after just receiving scheduled maintenance. On Saturday, a second technician came out--and thankfully, he took real care. He not only fixed the issue but took the time to educate us, explain what was missed, and spent two full hours of his weekend correcting what the first tech failed to do. He confirmed that the drain lines were never cleared, maintained, or reviewed on the inside of the home--possibly looked at from the outside, but nothing was done internally. This is despite the fact that we provided full attic access and even a ladder to technician #1 on Tuesday. Nearly five gallons of water had pooled in the system. That kind of negligence could have caused serious damage to our air handler or our home itself. Who would've been accountable? I also spoke with Chris from dispatch, who admitted after reviewing with the second technician, "It sounds like we didn't do our job." He mentioned a service manager would be looking into it. But again I ask: What if we hadn't caught this in time? What if that water had destroyed our ceiling, flooded the unit, or caused a mold issue? The very things I pay Four Seasons to prevent--who would've been responsible? Unfortunately, this isn't our first poor experience. Over the years, we've had callbacks, disorganized service, technicians venting frustrations with dispatch, and even a visit where our air handler door was left wide open. When Four Seasons transitioned to a new scheduling system, no one contacted us--we had to follow up ourselves just to get back on the calendar. At this point, I've lost all confidence. We are canceling our Gold Package and moving forward with a provider that prioritizes professionalism, accountability, and the protection of their clients' homes. Next step? My old 3-ton high performance Lennox HVAC finally gave out after 12 years. Lennox highly recommended 4 Seasons on their website as a qualified repair and installation company. 4 Seasons sent out a tech and, when it was discovered that our typical high Florida humidity took its toll on the old unit, they immediately sent a senior tech, gave me a good price, and provided first rate immediate installation service. I marked them down one star because, like many very small businesses, the owner or a lead becomes the face of the company. This person is usually overworked and overbooked. Mid-install that individual (Rodney) was called away and the crew left to finish the last portion of the job and for testing. These junior personnel were not completely familiar with the unit and ran into some (as it turned out) minor issues. Their communications skills also left much to be desired. I'm now having a tech come in because shortly after the install, the condenser fan seemed to be out of balance or hitting something. I wasn't able to resolve it myself. I'll provide a follow-up when they come out to check the unit. Also, note that their customer support is now an AI, which is great for setting up appointments, but also limits discussion over the phone. read more

I called these folks for a check up as my air handler was freezing up. I made sure that the drain lines were all clear and turned off the air handler to defrost hours before the "technician" arrived although they came out quickly. GARY did not seem to understand my system at all. It took some readings at the air handler and at the external condenser after some puzzled scratching of his head, he decided that the units had to be wired wrong and proceeded out to the condenser and promptly switched the wiring from one air handler to the other, and the opposite on the second condenser and second air handler. He also told me that he really believed it was a logic board that was the problem and would order a new one for the air handler and then come out and replace the one I had under warranty. The wiring job that he did he ended up having to undo and the way he wrapped the wiring after making the connections, the second time and the first time was sloppy and I know I'm gonna have to have it redone because weather will obviously get in and corrode the connections. I paid the $99 diagnostic fee with the assurance that I would hear from them in the next 48 hours about the parts availability. Neither four seasons air-conditioning nor GARY ever called back to come out and replace the part under warranty and frankly if he had, I think I would demand a different technician. What makes this experience even more disappointing as that the Lennox air conditioning company recommended this as an authorized company to work with on their equipment. Hopefully management will contact me after seeing this review and I can get the work I really need it done completed. Really disappointed! read more

We thought we had a long standing & honest relationship with this company. We had planned to have them replace our 2012 builders special unit for a more efficient one in abt 10-15 yrs. Something significant has changed. We recvd an estimate for coil repair at $1600. We recvd an estimate for $2650 for the same service. We called an independent co. & paid $187. The fan was not set at a proper speed. Now, we freezing...lol. We've made new arrangements for our future HVAC & AC service. read more

Used to be reputable, back in 2019 when they installed my new AC system, but not anymore!! They now charge extremely high labor costs and tell you AFTER doing the work. Tried charging me parts covered under warranty on the complete unit replacement that they did about 4 years ago. Tech said he didn't know anything about that and called the office. They said I was correct, then were charging me almost $500 for a 5 minute job... literally 5 minutes. Office was rude stating the are a flat rate labor company... 5 minutes or 5 hours. Guess my 5 minutes helps cover the 5 hour calls. Read other online complaints... save yourself the trouble and call another company.. I will be. read more

I have had 4 Seasons come out for years, I actually had their Gold Plan package for maintenance. Nikita, the tech, that normally came out was wonderful. He always spent his time and due diligence cleaning and inspecting everything. I called to have my system serviced and was assigned Francesco. He gave a call ahead that was welcomed. The rest of the visit was unprofessional - maybe it was close to lunch so he wanted to get out of here. He cleaned the drain line and came into my house without me letting him in. I was walking towards the door to the garage after his knock. That was not OK - especially since I have dogs that bolt out. Nikita used to spray down my outside unit with the hose to dislodge dirt and sanitize the cooling coil for the inside unit. Francesco did nothing but take some photos. $119 for pretty much nothing. Please note despite the owner's apology- to date 4 Seasons has not done anything to address the damage caused by the drain line they installed coming apart at the joint they put in a few weeks after they installed it. They covered none of the cost of repairs caused by the water from this flowing through the ceiling down walls, and puddling on floor despite request to at the time. Although it was mentioned that they are not liable for any damages caused, only repairing the direct issue (in this case they came and glued to 2 pipes back together.) They did not address the fact that I had to take 4 extra days away from working when we received the notice that they failed to pull a permit (date for them to come and make sure it was up to par for it to pass at which time they did some changes, inspection date, second visit from them to fix issues when it failed inspection, and re-inspection date). When less than 5 years after purchasing this from them the coil failed they informed me parts would be covered by warranty but not labor. The price they quoted me for labor was over twice the price of hiring a different company. I don't see how I could give them another opportunity, as the owner hoped in his response to my original review, when they have still not addressed prior issues. read more

Set up an appointment for annual maintenance and was given 9 to 12 arrival window. Even had to wait 2 weeks for the appointment. Called at 12:10 only to have them tell me they had no record of the appointment or even us in their computer. Then they obnoxiously asked if we were sure we had called them! I set the whole appointment in the calendar as I spoke with their representative. I believe the appropriate response would have been, "I'm sorry, can we reschedule?" not, "are you sure you called us?" PS - if I had called someone else, it's likely that they would have already arrived for the appointment. So we wasted an entire morning waiting for them for nothing. Didn't bother to pursue. Told them to forget it and called another company. read more

This company should be ashamed of themselves because they take people's money and sell garbage TRANE A/C units that do not work! My TRANE A/C until was brand new. It was purchased in 2019. TRANE is supposed to have the reputation for being the "top-of-the-line" when it comes to A/C units, but not mine. Since JUNE of 2021 my TRANE A/C unit has broken down every Summer during scorching hot temperatures. I called 4 Seasons over 15 times when my unit completely broke down. During the Summer of July 2022, I was out of an air condition for 4 weeks. Bobby and Freddy came out multiple times to try to fix it but kept telling me they need to order parts from TRANE that were on "back order." That 4 weeks without air conditioning was a complete nightmare and it was during the hottest months in Florida. On May 12, 2023, my air conditioner completely stopped blowing cold air. I called 4 Seasons and a woman named "Meagan" answered the phone. I told her that my air conditioner broke, AGAIN, during the same month as the year prior. She had such a snotty attitude on the phone with me and was completely RUDE. She said, "I'm not sending anyone to you until you pay the balance of your bill from last year." Bill from last year?!! The year I was left without A/C for 1 whole month during the month of July where Bobby gave me the run around and would ghost me about fixing my air conditioner every chance he got!!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I had to call a local HVAC professional come out and look at the TRANE A/C because the 4 Season technicians are completely incompetent. He told me multiple parts were broken and that the last technician basically, "mickey moused" the job and never corrected the issue. He ordered the replacement parts through TRANE supply back on May 15, 2023, and TRANE told him that the parts were on back order for 10 weeks?! What in the World!? When I called TRANE supply in July about my parts, the TRANE supply tech said, "Nope, still on back order." I could NOT take the suffocation anymore so I ripped out that garbage TRANE unit and had a Carrier A/C unit installed and I could not be happier. I DO NOT recommend you go to 4 Seasons for a new A/C unit especially if they pitch you a TRANE unit. TRANE units (when they break down) are challenging to fix because it requires the technician to call TRANE and they have to be on the phone for hours and go step by step to diagnose what the issue is. The 4 Seasons technicians do not want to waste time doing this, so they cut corners and really don't fix the issue. That's what happened to me. Also, parts from TRANE are rarely in stock and it takes weeks maybe months to get them so you're suffering in a hot box awaiting a part. Ripping that garbage TRANE, A/C unit out and installing a Carrier was the best decision I ever made. I'm convinced 4 Season sold a faulty unit because it broke down multiple times. Shame on you, Brian Hastings, for never responding to my e-mail when I basically begged you to intervened when your employees refused to help me and were power tripping. Bobby is a flake, Lynn is very rude and sarcastic, Meagan is mean and does not care, and Brian Hastings will just turn a blind eye and IGNORE YOU. AVOID 4 Seasons if you can. Worst customer service, and you're probably being sold a refurbished unit and being told it is new. There was no reason a brand-new TRANE A/C from 2019 would break down multiple times unless it was a shotty installation or used. Nevertheless, they will not fix your unit if it breaks, just give you the run around about parts and half ass the job. My old TRANE unit is sitting in my garage waiting for the garbage men to come and take it to the dump. Horrible experience with 4 Seasons. Trust me when I say take your business elsewhere. read more

I started using 4 Seasons in August of 2018 and they were great. They performed simple repairs and maintenance on my new Lennox Elite system. I then hired them to install a mini split system in my master bedroom. The mini split had quite a few problems, including incorrect drainage installation, but 4 Seasons came back to fix it all up and it works decently now. However, in the last year the service has really declined. I used to see the same techs who were well-trained, knowledgeable, and friendly. The last four visits from 4 Seasons brought me terrible customer service, random techs who obviously had no idea what they were doing, and complete unresponsiveness from the office staff. For example, my thermostat screen quit working, so on March 4th a tech came out. I didn't understand his name, so I cannot tell you that, but he came into my house, walked over to the thermostat, pulled it off the wall, held it up to his ear and shook it, and then turned to me and said "it's busted". I almost laughed because I couldn't believe he was serious. He then disappeared into his van for about twenty minutes before reemerging and saying that they would have to order a new thermostat. On the 12th, the same tech came back out, worked in the garage for about 45 minutes, then came to my front door and handed me the new thermostat faceplate and the installer's installation guide. He told me he could not install the thermostat or program it because he "doesn't do technology". I refused to pay him and called the office. This was about 4pm on a Friday and the woman who answered the phone was rude and completely unhelpful. I asked to speak to a service manager and she told me they were all "in a meeting" and I would have to leave a voicemail. I was connected to Bobbe Alessi, left a voicemail explaining the situation and asked for a return phone call. I never heard from them again, but I continue to get bills for the thermostat installation. I had to hire a local HVAC guy to come over and install and program the thermostat the 4 Seasons tech had handed me. He felt really bad for me and didn't want to charge me, but I gave him $100 because I was so thankful for the help. I don't know why the customer service and technical help from 4 Seasons has gotten so terrible, but I would warn everyone not to use them. read more

I have been a customer of 4 Seasons Heating and Air Orlando for over 10 years. NOT ANYMORE.....this company does NOT stand behind their work for more than 30 days. Once the 30 days runs out, YOUR SCREWED!! Case in point, my blower motor failed and needed full replacement. The job was paid in full. Then, 9 months later, the blower motor failed AGAIN. I had to pay $99 for them to tell me my AC blower motor was broke again. Then had to pay close to $600 in labor to install a 2nd blower motor. I asked about their labor warranty and they told me too bad, your over 30 days. I called around town and numerous HVAC companies have a 12 month parts and labor warranty . So I am leaving 4 seasons. Tried 2-3 times to have the owner Brian Hastings call me to discuss the issue, and he NEVER returned the call. If you read this review and still decide to use this company, ask them why they only have 30 days of confidence in their work.. Answer is the work is poor quality. read more

I purchased my first home 4 years ago and have been using them ever since. Only to find out that I've been overcharged on multiple occasions compared to other companies. Today I had a technician come to my house because I needed my Freon recharged, I knew for a fact that it was out. The technician told me that they and everybody else is unable to recharge with R22 and that is the only Freon that my AC unit takes. And then proceeded to advise me to buy a whole new AC unit. I later did some research and found out that r22 is still wing used and they just don't supply it. I called multiple times and they avoided my call by saying bad connection where they hung up on me. Then when i finally get someone(after my 3rd call) they forward me to their manger which goes to voicemail and i haven't heard from them since. I've been going to them for 4 years. They know i used R22 and they could have told me over the phone rather than charge me $89! When i made my appointment i specifically said it only needed Freon. For them to come out. Charge me a service fee of $89 when they were there for less than 5 minutes and did nothing but give me bad advice. read more

They are always friendly, courteous, and professional. The technicians are thorough and take the time to answer any questions that I might have. I've been building custom homes in Orlando for over 30 years. I decided to try a different AC company rather than use one of my normal vendors on my personal home. 4 Seasons price was much better (more than $1,000). The salesman, installers and office personal were all very professional and the workmanship was excellent. Everyone I dealt with was experienced and been with 4 seasons for years. The very best part, now I found a great AC company to replace by regular company! Been waiting for promised phone call after promised phone call. All but one in the office is rude. Even owner promised to call back. They sent a tech out over a day after I called with no AC and it got to 95degrees and 79% humidity ...fixed the loose nut on the float which is what caused water damage. Broke two hours and 30 minutes after they left so I called the night service three times several hours in between each time and no one called me back. Then I called in the morning and they said yes I see where you called but we don't know why no one called you back I'll have someone call you back to see if, they could fit me on the schedule. .... Two hours later I called again and eventually ended up with Brian owner He was very apologetic and said that he would get the service manager. The service manager called me and said he wanted to come out and inspect my unit because he seeing the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars I've spent on service calls and repairs for 4 yrs of this five year old machine going on six years old for extremely expensive top the line Trane system. He said there's something wrong with your system. I can tell by all your service tickets and the readings that we're getting so he comes out to my house so that there's a valve stuck open and that's why my unit runs all the time said the condenser outside it's rusted about to burst and he had one he would give me And he said he would throw on his labor since he was salary. Then he said that he would get his drywall person to fix the damages because of all the service tickets that showed there was an issue each time they came out but it was never addressed and he said that he would refund my service payment for the week because it broke again right after they "fixed" it. and then he said that he would get me a quote for a pump and to reroute the drain line that would fix the causeof the water damage , I heard nothing I called the office left a message .....called the office again and left the message again. . Had to use my daughters phone to call without my phone number showing on caller ID and they finally put me through to the owner because they didn't recognize my phone number or my voice and i gave a fake name a fake name. Owner, Brian, said he would get with me in the morning. Here is two days later and I have not heard anything and it's now the weekend and my pressures of never been right and it should be fixed correctly the first time in a long time ago .... I am now being being ghosted, but water damage is not being fixed everything that he promised he would do for free due it taking years of service calls for someone to say the machine is bad he's not doing I just don't know what to do. This company has poor communication, 99% of the staff is rude and even the owner promised calls back after he looks at my time and I get nothing ....sad to treat a customer this way when you state to me in my home you dropped the ball on these issues I have had to pay $$$ in service calls that never fixed the machine but instead they put a bandaid on it and moved on. This machine breaks every 5-6 months since the day they installed everything new. Horrible'! read more

This is one of the most professional businesses I've ever worked with. From the moment I called to the final service bill, every step was meticulous. Please don't take for granted a company that picks up the phone, assesses your issue and gives you a two hour window for a service technician to come the same day. I needed a part that was under warranty from the manufacturer. Even though the part wasn't in yet, a 4 Seasons service rep knew it was arriving soon and set up the appointment under that assumption. On the day of the service call, the technician contacted us asking if it was ok if he came a little early. Who does that??! The approximate time of the service/installation was on point, and the bill was exactly what I was quoted. My next step is to set up a maintenance service with them. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time vetting other A/C companies. 4 Seasons is 5 star. P.S. As a public service to other consumers, make sure you DON'T use One Stop Cooling and Heating. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! No customer appreciation at all!! I have done over 30K in business with them and they still charge unnecessary items. Two separate times they have came out to fix an issue and improperly diagnosed the problem. I have paid for the incorrect fix, only to have the same issue reoccur. After getting 4 estimates for a new A/C system, we decided to go with 4 Seasons, and we are extremely happy we did. The positive experience started with Dan, who came out to do the estimate. He walked through the house, measured the windows, and went in the attic in order to accurately determine what unit we needed. None of other companies did this. (Some companies, including the one we had been using, never even bothered to call us back). He was professional and extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions promptly. He later sent more information and an estimate via email. The installation was excellent. The workers came in two professional 4 Seasons vans. They knew what they were doing. They put in a new cement pad as per hurricane guidelines. They ran new electric in the closet to support the new pump they installed. They redid the door vent to make it larger because we weren't getting enough airflow before. They cut a new vent in the laundry room and went into the tiny attic to do so. They filed a permit and arranged for the county inspector to come out and check the work. They filed all the rebate paperwork for us and sent it to us in the mail. After they completed the full installation the pump was making a loud noise that freaked me out (I realized later, duh, that is what pumps do). I called Kristy in the office and she said, "I will send someone back out right now. I don't want you to worry." Totally unnecessary, but extremely good customer service. I referred a friend to them who had been having trouble with her A/C service, and she has so far had an equally good experience. So far, I highly recommend 4 Seasons. read more

I called 4 Seasons after getting a quote to replace my evaporator coils from another company. We had taken out a warranty agreement with Duke Energy, they sent out a company who offered me a "discount" to replace the out of warranty coils that was $500 MORE than 4 Seasons. 4 Seasons came out when they said they would, the technician was professorial and friendly, and best of all, they FIXED my ac as quoted, and for less than my first estimate! This company was originally recommended by the agent who sold me my house. I've dealt with them two times, both being great. I'm reviewing the most recent time. I found my house's HVAC fan was not running, so I called them up for emergency service. Great that they have Sunday hours. The technician who came out, Tony, was a great guy who checked out the whole system. It turned out the issue was more with the power management system installed by my power company, but Tony still went above and beyond to examine the whole system. He even used my hose to clean out the A/C system when he noticed it was running hot. Overall a good experience. They used to be a good company. However in the past six months they've really gone down hill. We have one new ac that still hasn't passed inspection since October. They refuse to fix it. Our other ac is broken and they've promised us twice to call us back with updates and never have. They've also promised us the part would be in today to fix it. We confirmed yesterday that they would have the parts. Now this morning they don't have the parts. I'm highly disappointed and would warn anyone against using them. We had 4Seasons replace our unit 3 months ago. They were quick efficient and done early. I have been in my home for over 20 years and it has never held the temp like this new unit. Every time I look at the thermostat it is the same. No matter what the outside temperature is. Great work and I am saving over 100 dollars a month on my power. I highly recommend them. read more

I called yesterday for help as it was very hot and the AC was not able to keep up. The owner, Brian was very responsive and said he could send someone out right away or in the morning. Christopher came straight away at 8:00 AM. He's a young very bright and friendly young man. My Great Dane loves him. We have an older unit that in someways is good but in other ways is getting too old. Christopher checked unit in the back first and then climbed into the attic and checked the older system. I was able to find two causes and repair them in a fairly short time. Because we cannot replace the entire system Chris gave us a great tuneup. I am greatly relieved by how responsive this company is and would highly recommend them. My house is cool and the unit is functioning perfectly. Thank you so much Brian and Company. read more

Just an updated note for the untrustworthy owner of 4 Seasons AC. I have my receipts. I'm not confused about which AC company came to my home. Brian from 4 Seasons came to my home more than one time in attempt to fix the same AC problem, without resolve, and it cost me hundreds of dollars. BRIAN'S van was filled to the brim like a hoarder. There was a full garbage can worth of trash covering his dash. No company would allow a "tech" to trash a company van like that. I don't care to deal with this company for any reason, which is why I have no interest in discussing anything with them. I complained about a guy named "Brian". Then I was contacted by a man named Brian, who stated nobody named "Brian" worked there anymore. Don't get it twisted. Liars to the core! In addition Lauren C. a Yelp member contacted me via Private message. She has only left 2 reviews, one of which was already filtered out, and the other for 4 Seaons AC. Both her private msg and her 5 star review for 4 Seasons were left on the SAME DAY. Who does that? I'll tell you who... people who work there, or are friends/relatives of people who work there. I find it interesting that a random human being would complain about my review of any company or business, then leave a 5 star review for that company. Not to mention she left no specific info about the service she received from 4 Seasons AC in her review accept for thanking "Brian". Furthermore I find it hilarious that in this day and age the only positive reviews 4 Seasons AC can receive are fake and made up by friends/family/or coworkers. They are 11 FILTERED REVIEWS for 4 Seasons AC so far here on YELP all trying to make up for this one negative review I've left them. This is an inside job! Don't trust these people. Just an update to my posting on 8/18. I NEVER received any refund for the defective part from the lawsuit that that 4 seasons said I would get. I wrote to 4 Seasons to let them know and never received a reply. Based on my experience I would never recommend this company as they DO NOT stand behind their product. all the comments I have read are glowing for the initial service provided. Just wait until something happens to the unit and see the service you receive. read more

I called this company as the sticker for them was on our A/C in the house we recently moved into. I said I wanted our A/C serviced, wanted to check for leaks, and see if the drain pipe is clogged. A tech comes out this morning, says the drain pipe is clean, no leaks, I need a new filter and he doesn't have any. Does nothing to service the A/C and leaves despite my requests for service. Then I find that the drain pipe is in fact clogged, and when I call to complain they hang up on me. I honestly don't know how these people have any good reviews. I will never use them again, but I will keep telling anyone that listens about my experience to get the word out on how awful this company is. read more

VERY unhappy with the continuous not getting the job done and having multiple people come out and tell us different things. When they placed the new air handler they left a hole going up into the attic which cause the unit to sweat and did not pass inspection. The 3rd or 4th person told us that our ducts were too small for the unit that was installed , but the new unit was the same size as the old one. The next person came out and said the settings were wrong and he had to adjust everything. We are now waiting for another person to come out and seal the hole behind the air handler that goes up into the attic(this happens to be the same guy that told us we needed new duct work). Depending on the outcome of the Orange County Inspection will be whether I update and change my view. Orlando, Florida read more
