This wine bar is way too cute for its own good. My friend and I split the Truffle Fries and the Cheese and Bread Charcuterie Board -- I always finish my food and I could not finish this. Make sure you have 3 people to tackle it. Like another patron said, this place is intimate and loud at the same time. They only have one bottle menu somehow in 2025, so you might have to wait a little to see it. Just saying. I think they only had 2 people working somehow, but we didn't have to wait egregiously for anything. Overall, highly recommend!

I literally said to myself as I drove around Somerville that I wish there was a wine or cocktail bar for...mature people like myself to chill at. So I looked up wine bars and boom - VintEdge was right down the street. I came in around 9pm, picked a comfy seat by the window, and ordered. Can you believe I had never had an espresso martini until that evening?? So my first was a pumpkin espresso martini. Well I may have had 2. And another drink. Ahem. The service was great, not fussy, and I wasn't rushed even as we approached last call. Visit 2: having heard about my great experience there alone, my cousin arranged to meet me there last week. Or so she thought. Through a series of mutual miscommunications, I was here at the crib waiting for her, while she was at the wine bar waiting for me. Once we figured that out, she got us some food to go and we ate here at home. Verdict: -excellent seating options - stools, couches, chairs -food is so so good. Tartare, truffle fries. Fig jam pizza -drinks include awesome bottles and seasonal takes on old favorites This could be my new spot.

I can see why this restaurant was chosen. We were a group of 10 people celebrating a Christmas Party. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The dining room itself was lovely. It was decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations, a large Christmas Tree in the corner. They have a mantle over the fireplace that was lit up and decorated with Christmas lights. What made this room extra special was the gigantic fireplace that had a roaring fire going as we sat and enjoyed our food and each other's company. The setting was traditional and on each wall were framed pictures. I kind of felt like I was in a Southern home. In a separate room was a nice size bar with flatscreen TV's. We started off with cocktails and appetizers. The dishes that were chosen: MUSSELS ALA VINO- I got them in a marinara sauce with garlic crostini for dipping. The mussels were delicious. CALAMARI FRUTTI- fried calamari with capers, black olives, sun dried tomatoes, and caramelized onions. Along with TRADITIONAL FRIED CALAMARI-with MARINARA. Both Calamari' dishes were delicious. MOZZARELLA EN CAROZZA- Served with marinara sauce. These were crunchy and the middle oozed with fresh melted mozzarella. LITTLE NECK CLAMS AND SAUSAGE- Lemon, garlic, herbs, crostini. These clams were sweet and smokey from the sausage. WINGS- (Medium Heat) the wings were crispy and flavorful. For my entree I chose their Special. STUFFED FLOUNDER WITH CRABMEAT-It was light and tasty. It also came with a vegetable risotto, which was really delicious. Other dishes that were chosen were PORK OSSO BUCCO-Vegetable risotto, and pan gravy POLLO PARMIGIANA-Boneless breast of chicken breaded with marinara and melted mozzarella POLLO MILANESE-Boneless breast of chicken pan-fried topped with arugula, onions, tomato, balsamic vinaigrette SALMON-Pan-roasted salmon with pesto sauce, seasonal vegetable saute, roasted potatoes GAMBERI SCAMPI-Jumbo shrimp, lemon, garlic, herbs, over spaghetti PENNE VODKA-Peas, prosciutto, a touch of cream, tomato, and a splash of vodka. We then went on to desserts. TIRAMISU, LEMON SORBET, TARTUFO, ICE CREAM SUNDAE, RED VELVET CAKE. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their dinner and their desserts. It was a very relaxing and peaceful evening. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. Even the owner came over and checked on us. I would definitely return and try some other dishes.

But before I go into the food, let me address something I've never seen before on a bill. I ordered a Bourbon mixed with Diet Coke and the $15 charge was broken into three separate charges: $12 for whiskey; $2.50 for "whiskey prep rocks" (adding ice?); and $1.50 for "whiskey prep mixed" (mixing it?). What???? The first proseco served to another diner was outright flat, it was replaced. Meal. I ordered veal scalloppine picata and the meat tasted nothing like veal as it was a tough chew. My wife had the shrimp with risotto and she said the shrimp was ok but risotto was flavorless. Indeed, it's the first time I ever saw almost all the risotto left on the plate. The chicken milanesa someone else ordered came out cold in the first round and properly replaced with a new serving however everyone else's meal had to wait so we could eat together. Our waitress was nice but not very experienced and perhaps a little flustered. Brought out the dinners but hadn't bussed the appetizer plates in advance, It's actually not her job so I think they just lack help. The clams and sausage appetizer was very good. Perhaps the place had a bad night, but frankly for $300 with tip for 4 people was simply not worth it. Glad we tried it but it will likely be a one and done for us.

A Hidden Gem in Lambertville - Cocktails, Cuisine & Character All in One Spot! We came to…read moreLambertville, PA on a whim during a trip from Miami, looking to explore a charming small town with history, heart, and hopefully some hidden treasures. With zero expectations and a love for antiquing and supporting small businesses, we were immediately smitten by the cobblestone beauty and old-town charm. But the real gem of this visit? T 54 - a restaurant that completely stole our hearts (and taste buds). From the moment we walked into this quaint little spot that seats no more than 68 people, we knew we were somewhere special. The greeting was warm, welcoming, and relaxed - a "sit wherever you'd like" vibe that instantly made us feel like locals. But then came the moment that made the entire trip: David, the bartender. Let me just say this - if Lambertville has a mayor of cocktails, it's him. I asked David to surprise us with something extraordinary, and WOW did he deliver. First up, the espresso martini - a drink I've had hundreds of times, yet never like this. Smooth, bold, balanced - truly remarkable. I asked him what his next best was and he handed me the Green Hope - a gin-based masterpiece that was bright, herbaceous, and perfectly crafted. Drink three? The showstopper: The Lambertville David-Aayyyy - his own off-menu spin on their Lambertville Rose cocktail, and an absolute knockout. The man is a cocktail magician. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered the burger and fries and let me be real with you - this wasn't just a burger. This was a BURGERRRRR. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and topped with a torched cheese interior (yes, torched... and yes, it matters), fresh toppings, and a house-made aioli that I wanted to bottle and take home. The fries? Imagine a single potato sliced into thick, golden quarters, crisped and seasoned to perfection. They're rustic, hearty, and addictive. My man had the eggs benedict with prosciutto, and I kid you not - I've never seen a plate licked so clean. It was that good. Like, "don't even need to run this plate through the dishwasher" level good. From the intimate atmosphere to the elevated drinks, and seriously impressive food, T 54 is a place that blends soul, flavor, and genuine hospitality in a way that's rare to find. Whether you're a local or just passing through like us, make the time to visit this place. Ask for David. Trust him. And bring your appetite. This is the kind of place that makes you fall in love with small towns all over again.

We finally got around to trying Taverna 54. We called ahead to check on seating, and Maximo told us…read moreto come in. When we arrived, though, we were told there weren't any seats. After a few minutes, they said they could squeeze us in. It felt a bit odd -- the space isn't very large, so you'd expect the dining room to be easier to manage. We shared the burger and the carbonara. Both dishes were underwhelming, especially given the expectations we had for this spot. The burger was on the bland side, and the carbonara was made with store‑bought noodles, which took away from the dish. While the food missed the mark, the dining area itself is very nice and the service was great.
