I was happy with the service, (regular) polish lasted over a week, and still looked good. My daughter's acrylics turned out just as she asked but chipped the next day. She called the salon and was squeezed in at the end of the day (perfect because she had to wait to go until after work). Not only was her nail fixed, the nail tech redid the polish on all of them because she realized the polish she had used wouldn't really last very long on the tips (glitter). Ivy is a great and fun person. She was alone as others are in vacation. Linda is very professional and accommodating. Cleanliness was a problem for me surfaces were covered with nail dust and nail light cureor was covered in nail polish and possibly soil. WOW! My nails are fabulous and I got this done 3 weeks ago. Not one chip. Not one break. I showed her the theme of the party I was having, asked for advice, selected a design and she made it happen, all within time and with GREAT conversation. I learned of her work from another person who has been going to Kim for years. Every holiday she has new nails and they are always creative and beautiful. And when she told me the price I tipped her extra because there is no way her skill set should be that inexpensive. Easy to work with. And prior to this job I had her do a pedicure for me to wear to a beach vacation (hence the very different colors). She freshened that pedicure up after doing my manicure. So personable and understanding. She clearly has been doing this for a while. Saw the stellar reviews so decided to give them a shot. Was very disappointed. Nothing great about the pedicure. Had to come home and work on my feet when I got home. No offer to put callous treatment, no massage, no hot stones, no special seaweed treatment from some far off ocean...I'm joking about the latter, but was seriously not the best, not the worst though. Left me feeling meh with slight aggression as my crusty heals could snag on my cotton sheets. My gel French manicure turned out with bubbles. If nails chip before next week, I'll update post.
