Mikah, really f'ed up my truck 2022 Chevy silverado , I walked in asking for a 6 inch lift, he talked me into a 4 inch lift, after I had explained my plans of adding 35 inch tires. he insisted in a 4 inch lift. so I agreed. 1- my truck was not leveled, back sticking up, I took it back 2- still not leveled, after a second try, and now he had a serious face, like trying to intimidate me 3- and I cannot fit my 35's tires just because I listen to him on a 4 inch lift, it rubs when turning 4- yes I had a budget, but for the right things no, 5- he insisted me in buying 2 year insurance for the bushings of the lift, I thought I was on a budget? who in the heck buys that, (me) 6- He should had insisted me in buying shocks or structs, my truck hits to the metal on dips. not happy at all. You would think when you k how large of a tire on Chevy Trail Boss the responses was stock. It took me 5 minutes to explain it had 2"front 1" back lift from the factory. His response said we won't recommend more then stock. So I asked so why are all these people showing 305x20 . 'They must be modified". NO he was just too lazy to look it up. I bought a bulletproof lyft and gears and had it installed by installed by 4 Wheel Parts it was a horrible horrible horrible job day one the The truck would not track right. I took it back into them the next day to get the response of drive it for about 1100 miles so everything settles in and we'll reach just it. It started wearing the passenger front tire in a crazy way it would not drive straight when I finally took it back they addressed the things that I said that were messed up after my attitude. So I thought everything was good until I found out that a boot was ripped that they put it put in now that joint and the steering is wearing out after a month of driving it the drive shaft that I bought from them after they did some adjustments because I thought they were doing OK they put the wrong bolts into it it doesn't it doesn't stay in balance because of the wrong bolts. The response from the manager was those things are your problem not mine they do not care to hear what you say they will lie to you they will blow a smoke up your a** and make you think that you're dumb. A $15000 lift that drives like s*** like s*** and they don't intend to fix the problems that They caused they bolted the front Carrier Off to one side not even straight Just numerous things but they did wrong I wouldn't refer them to my dog to have his a** wiped. Called at 9:00am (right when they opened) and the guy is obviously overwhelmed because there were already some customers walking in. He tells me I'm second in the call cue and told me I'd have to be on a short hold... I knew exactly the 5 wheels and 5 tires I was ordering and I wanted them on my Jeep as soon as possible so I decided to hold. I waited over 1 hour and 8 minutes for this knuckle head to come back on the phone and say "There's over 10 calls on waiting ahead of you, can I just take down your phone number to call you later?" So I'm thinking something wasn't adding up... he either doesn't know how to handle the phones or he lied to me when he said I was call number 2... And if he wanted to take down my number why would you make me me wait on hold over an hour? They are probably understaffed but these guys have lost my business. "Edited" After my original post I got a phone call from the manager. Everything was very professionally handled. I got my parts that I needed exactly when they said they would come in. They took excellent care of me and kept me up-to-date on when my order was coming in and where it was at i n shipment. The excellent customer service that I received not only from the manager, but from my original sales guy was top-notch. In the words of Forrest Gump "shit happens" Thanks again for helping out!! I will be buying tires at 4WP!! Normally, I would give them a much higher rating except for this last order, they would probably get bumped to blow 2 stars. Simple order, Air Lift compressor and bags for ram 2500 pickup, easy peezy. They came in last Thursday and ordered bags for a 1500 Ram pickup. No big deal mistakes happen. They re-ordered the correct bags and were going to be in Tuesday, August 1 between 3 and 330. On August 1, at 3:15 I stop in and the order does not come in until Thursday between noon and 4 o'clock. They implied that FedEx was at fault. Reality is it's their fault for not ordering the right equipment the first time. I'm super disappointed and now it's going to cut into my weekend to put these bags on which really pisses me off. Along with driving there four different times 40 minutes one-way. I originally got a quote for some new tires as well approximately $2500 worth now I'm questioning on whether I should buy them from four-wheel parts or some other tire shop. What are your thoughts?. THESE GUYS ARE CHEATING EVERY CUSTOMER!!! I have been a loyal customer of this store for 10 years and have had a 6" Fabtech lift kit installed, air bags, so many sets of tires and wheels and tons of accessories. My front tires had a bit of a shake so I called them to set an appointment to get my tires rotated and balanced. While in the waiting room, my truck was on the other side of the wall and I could tell by the sounds I heard that there was no way they balanced them and I confirmed it once I got home and crawled under my truck to see the weights Untouched, still all covered in road grime, nothing added or subtracted. I called the store and they said it must have been overlooked. I was asked though, "Sir, can I ask you how you know they weren't balanced?" Wrong question. Then he told me that I could come back in and they would only balance the two that they took from the back and put on the front. WHAT??? I was irritated at this point and offered to pay the extra amount for all 4 tires to be balanced and it was a struggle for him to say he would do it "This time" but they only balance 2 tires on every vehicle they service. I got off the phone and called 2 other 4 Wheel Parts stores to ask them what they do and both stores said they ALWAYS balance all 4. Now I'm upset. I drove to the branch to talk to Dustin, the manager. I have known Dustin for the entire 10 years dating back to when he was a counter sales guy. I stepped into his office, and he looked bothered by my presence right away. I started telling him about my concerns and he couldn't give 2 shits and made ME feel like I was the problem that was requesting something out of the ordinary. Dustin stated that they "DO THIS ON EVERY VEHICLE" Dustin has zero customer service skills and when I left the store I was so pissed that I have emailed this story to blowthewhistle@9news.com and I hope they expose the immoral business operations going on in this store. If that is what they are doing, it is wrong. I went to Discount Tire and they could not believe they only balance the front two tires. I called Big O and they said the same thing. My front tires probably had 5000 miles on them with a slight shimmy, I take it in and if they only balance the backs that were put on the front, then now I have out of balance tires with a shimmy on the back for another 4000-5000 miles. This is a safety concern AND a moral and ethical concern if they are not telling customers that they only balance two tires. I want everyone to know, if you have used this store, you have been deceitfully told that your balance happened and it either didn't get done at all, like in my case, or they have only balanced 2 tires. I bet MANY Jeep owners and lifted truck owners will be very upset considering the cost of any tire, let alone the larger tires for lifted vehicles. I went to Discount Tire, told them the whole story and I purchased lifetime rotate and balance for 2 sets of tires and wheels that I have. I have a set for summer and a full set for winter. It cost me $200.00 for 8 wheels and tires and I am currently having THEM balance my tires as I type this out. Everyone knows how important proper maintenance is for 35" tires and larger, if not properly rotated and balanced, they can wear poorly and cup and last half the life they are meant to. I hope someone reading this gives a shit and corrects this problem. I still cannot believe this happened and will never use this store again. And the results are in from my balance at Discount Tire. They added 1.5 grams to one tire, 1.8 to another, 6.5 to another and 4.3 to the fourth. Unbelievable! Thank you Discount Tire for treating me with respect and getting the job done correctly!!! I stopped here a few times to shop and look at parts. I'm the Jeep guy who does the vast majority of my own work. For me, parts are parts, they can be acquired anywhere. I also give people more than 1 chance to do business with. Unfortunately, when I have visited, over a few occasions, spanning months over time, each and every visit I encounter condescending and zero customer service. Each visit has been negative. When trying to discuss different parts, the sentiment seems to be if I'm not paying them to install, I'm wasting their time. My last Jeep, I spent $20k in parts and do the work myself. Yes, some of us still exist. This store is the closest to my house which is why I've tried numerous times. In short, I leave every time without even wanting to support this business. They've lost $20k in retail sales. I have a new Jeep, went in there recently, first time in a few months, and nothing has changed. I don't understand how they are still in business or corporate hasn't made some much needed changes. Condescending, short in conversation, lack of respect for customers, and when they do engage you, you get someone who wants you to buy/install what they want you to buy. When I ask why as compared to the other parts I have researched, you get responses to the effect of "if I have to explain why you should install part x over z, maybe you should let the experts do the work. Sadly, they seem to have a crystal ball and can tell you how much experience you have, as compared to the, building customer relationships and being of service. There's a way to go about a conversation without being jerks and assuming you know everything about the guy who's standing in front of you and been wrenching on jeeps for o er 20 years. Too bad I can't do negative stars. We had a 1979 Chevy Blazer lift kit placed by 4Wheel Parts Westminster. When we picked up the vehicle, the brakes no longer worked and worked fine before taking the vehicle there. We took the vehicle back to 4WP and they couldn't repair it or find the problem. So we had it taken to a 3rd party mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue. The third party mechanic, who is a family friend and 100% trusted, said the brakes were tampered with intentionally and they were bled dry. 4WP Store Manager guaranteed they'd reimburse the mechanic for his labor and parts to fix their mistake and now they're refusing to. I have the store manager in an email stating they would do as much. They put our lives and the public's lives in danger by tampering with the brake system. Will be seeking legal action and in the meantime, everyone steer clear of this business!!! read more

When my rear differential started to make weird noises, I called and was giving the short version of a full explanation exactly how these things work. Damien was very patient with me on the phone and went over several options and scenarios of what it could be and what it might take to repair it. After calling around I decided to give 4 Wheel Parts my business for the first time. I'm happy I did when they disassembled my rear axle. They found the problem and offered me several different options for repair. I went with the factory option and I was able to get my own parts from the dealership. The parts were overnighted in and I was able to bring them in the very next morning right when they opened. The way life works, though, half the shop was out sick the next day, because of one of these funky viruses that goes around and they were shortstaffed but after explaining to them how important it was to get my truck back, they worked it out, and my truck was completely repaired in four hours. Tommy who is the technician who worked on my vehicle, showed me exactly what was happening to make the noise and they did not make me buy a bunch of extra parts to get me going.. i'm definitely no stranger to repair shops and comparatively these guys are pretty dang good. We can always please everyone, but in this instance, I was 100% satisfied ! read more

Brought my truck in for a alignment and told him to fix anything else it needs which they did but took almost 2 weeks or simple parts. Then I drove my truck 300 miles and my tie rod end almost fell off going around a curve and I found that they forgot the cotter pin for the castle nut. Did not grease the new track bar they put in. If they can't do the simple things right then they can't do the complicated jobs right. read more

I'm a Jeep owner and I've dealt with 4 Wheel Parts (4WP) many times over the years. I use their Web site for research and online shopping, but I've spent more time working with them in person at their Westminster location. There have been more than a few amazingly awesome employees there that I've worked with over the years, and there still are some great people behind the counter. They even remember me when I call instead, which is nice. If you're trying to figure out which bumpers to buy or how to do your suspension lift correctly for how you'll be driving, they're great to help you plan. They'll happily go over the options without pressuring you to buy right away. To top it all off, they'll save the information in your account so you can pick up where you left off the next time you see them. It's truly a "full service" place. Yes, it's a big chain. But it's not impersonal and they don't treat you like yet another pain-in-the-butt customer like some other chains do (think about your last experience with a big tire store chain, for example). They act like a small, local shop but they have the benefits of a big network. If you need a part, chances are they can find it in one of their national warehouses if it isn't already found locally. Though they can get their hands on almost any product and then install it for you, it's really the people behind the counter who keep me coming back. Keep up the good work! read more

So I did a body lift, rims, tires, and shocks through these guys and through my auto dealer. Within 3 months the tires started to wear and the driver's side shock had blown out. Took it in and the manager argues with me that the tires were my fault, rotate them more and that the truck was out of alignment and somehow that was my fault also. I left and called their reps and they apologized and rotated the tires, did the alignment and replaced the shock. One year goes by and the rear shock is leaking like a sieve, call in and guess what, 6-month warranty, nothing we will do, have a nice day! DONT GO HERE, they blame everyone else for their errors and don't care if they offend customers or not! Terrible service and even worse warranty. read more

Made a yelp account just to post how awesome this store is. The entire staff is more than friendly to help!! Another mechanic shop lost the lock to my locking lugnuts, without hesitation they helped me last minute. Came back another time after my bar pin to my shock broke (in the mountains), they gave me a loaner so I could get my Jeep back to the store, ordered the eliminator kit for me and had it installed within 48 hours. These guys are great, every single person that works here seems to really care about their customers. I drive 15 miles out of my way to take my Jeep here. I was very well taken care of. I came to Colorado for the week to celebrate my birthday and as a present to myself I bought new rims for my Tacoma. I got 18x9 Method Fat-Five to replace my stock 18 inch rims on my Tacoma. They look fantastic and after they were installed which took less than an hour he told me to come back within 30 miles to re-torque them to make sure that the rims are on properly. I was also worried about any shaking or drivability problems and sure enough when I would get up to speed it would start to shake so when I brought the truck back in I asked them if they could put the tires back on the balance machine to see if any were off and they were perfectly willing and able and got me out in less than 20 minutes. They were also very understanding of my concern. I would recommend this shop to anyone. I am very happy with my purchase and the service and the ready, willing and able people at this shop. I forgot to add that the rims that I purchased were the same price as if I were to get them online. The coolest part was that the installation fee, meaning the labor for this was not overpriced at all and so in the end I paid just about as much as I would have paid if I bought them online with tax and shipping fees. read more

I would give them 0 stars if I could!...... I went in to this joke of a business to match up a single rim, so that I could get two more of the same one. These jokers were talking over me the whole time and more interested in what music was playing in the background and trying to sell me a different brand, when I specifically told them that I wanted the exact same wheel. If they would have shut up for a minute and listened to me when I told them that it was an AWC (Allied Wheel Components) 15x8 5x4.5 wheel with a 4" backspace. Instead, I got a "Oh, I never even heard of AWC". Really?! I am normally a pretty patient person, so I asked them for the next part that I needed. But, when I told the "salesman", Dustin, that I needed four struts for a 3.5" lift on my XJ he started arguing with me and saying, "you mean shocks, because struts are totally different." Pretty much making me look like an idiot and laughing at me in the process. Struts and shocks are meant to do the same thing by design. These people are not salesman, they are jokers and they do not have any understanding of the word customer service, but they are happy taking your money, even if that means selling you the wrong parts. The customer is always right! I guess I want to thank you morons for not letting me to purchase anything from you guys and for helping me open my eyes and the fact that I will never shop here or recommend them to anyone! Purchase your parts online! This will save you time and money and you will get better service to! I am in the customer service industry and I know what I am talking about. WARNING!!! Basically 4WP in Westminster, CO is a Retail store. If you know and have researched the product you're interested in, you'll be ok. I wouldn't trust the salesman they will tell you anything you want to here to make a sale. As far as the Service Department.... BEWARE !!! I installed a Long Arm Lift Kit on my Jeep and needed everything aligned and adjusted, 5 Wheels and Tires ($1200.00). After returning 2 times, basic adjustments weren't even close. Third time I left it for a week. To be safe I had the alignment double checked. Long Arms weren't adjusted, toe wasn't even close. There's no way these are "ASE Certified Professionals". They couldn't do basic adjustments. This is what they called a "Long Arm Thrust Alignment". I dealt with the Salesman named, Kirk. He totally dropped the ball and let me down. He's saying it was a misunderstanding...The manager assured me that he was very experienced in Alignments. He didnt even know what a Thrust measurement was.... After a Month, I was mentally, physically and emotionally spent. They refunded my money for the alignment and I'm back to square 1 and out $400.00 in lost wages, ect... I was an ASE Certified Technician for 20 years and have never seen anything like it. read more
