My husband called today and inquired about exhaust for his 67 Chevelle and they were able to have my husband come down the same day to take a look. My husband went down and Howard was able to check it out and give a honest and fair price(no bs and no ripping off of any kind). I believe the gentleman who worked on it was Ron. My muffler rusted off my Ram 3500 and I had a trip planed after the July 4th week. I called three other exhaust service providers only to get the post COVID run around and "call us in a couple days" stall routine. I even made an online appointment at one and showed up only to be told they could not help me and to come back the next day. These guys told me to come in the same day and diagnosed that I did not need a total muffler replacement but only a new pipe welded on (which they did while I waited). During the wait I got to be a fly on the wall and see how the manager and owner answered calls and dealt with customers. A few common denominators I noticed. They treated customers with respect, explained options, suggested cheaper solutions and keep their word. These guys are the real deal and I was on the road in 3 hours. I usually take Yelp reviews with a grain of salt, especially when you consider that the majority of people who are going to write a review are either complaining about something or it's a fake account just to boost credibility. I would just like to take the time to confirm that the positive reviews on here are the real deal. I had a good experience, every staff member was polite and friendly as well as patient and thorough while they diagnosed my car. Best of all, no one beat on my car either! It might shock you how often that has happened to us in the past when we've had to have to give our project's keys over to someone like a ballsy technician or a car detailer. So thank you for not only being professional with me but for also playing nice with my toys. Anyways, they could have just scribbled on a sheet an audacious price but they actually took the time to explain to me and show me exactly what needed to be done and what parts I would need for my Civic to pass emissions. The techs brought me back and showed me what the problem was, and explained precisely what they would be doing. They replaced my manifold gasket in a day and for a very reasonable price. When I picked my vehicle up, they let me know my tie-rod was rubbing on my wheel, and the owner came out and showed me the problem. They only do exhaust work but I am thankful they made me aware of the problem. The owner even called the auto shop to let me know the part I needed. Who does that nowadays? I dropped by to get a quote on a repair and was surprised that they were able to get it right in though they seemed busy at the time. They told me it would take 30-40 minutes and would cost $85 which was less that I paid for a similar weld repair years ago. They actually got the work done in about 15 minutes since they were able to put two guys on it and then charged me $80. The middle section of our muffler was cracked. I became worried when I saw the estimated price to replace the entire part. When I took it in for repair they were able to fit me in on the same day and weld the part instead of worrying about an entire replacement. HOWARD is the man!! I got turned down by shops to weld some mufflers on a 2014 Corvette and got jerked around badly by Bud's Muffler shop. Most of these places stated there was no room to fabricate or weld and/or they would have to remove my rear bumper completely. Howard put my car on a lift, asked me why I was getting such a hard time from the other shops and said it was possible without all of the hassles the other shops proposed. They work on a first come, first serve basis and were packed the day he looked at my car, so I scheduled an appointment with him very early in the morning and Howard knocked it out in about 2-3 hours. He was very meticulous about details like how straight the pipes looked and things like that. I am so happy with these guys and I will only take my future vehicles here.
