Honestly probably the worst dining experience we had while in Florida for a week. They were not very busy, they only have 14 tables in the first place and there were four or five empty with only one customer at the bar and two servers. We ordered two items, mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and the CLUB sandwich (it's toasted bread with cold meat and cold cheese with two pieces of bacon.) and waited over 45 minutes and didn't come out until I mentioned it to the waitress. The guy that ordered his food right before us got his twenty minutes before we did. Our appetizer came out super fresh, which gave me the impression that it had been back there awhile and she made them remake it or they completely forgot about it. The woman at the table next to us came in 50 minutes after us and got her STEAK at the same time as my Club sandwich. Update: didn't even get an apology from the waitress and then she had the nerve to add a 15% tip onto the bill herself!

Once you step inside, you're transported back to the Prohibition era with a moody atmosphere, intimate setting, and all the character you'd hope to find in a true speakeasy experience. The cocktails are unquestionably the star of the show. Thoughtfully crafted, well-balanced, and presented with attention to detail, each drink feels like part of the experience rather than just something to sip on. Add in a live DJ, great music, and an energetic crowd, and the result is a place with incredible vibes from start to finish. Whether you're looking for a unique date night, a nightcap, or a spot to impress friends from out of town, 9 Feet Under delivers. Joe, at the door, was very welcoming. Fabricio, the mixologist, was a true craftsman. We'll definitely be back.

It was really disappointing and distasteful to see this post…read more I'm one of the regulars at karaoke night at 9 Feet Under, and I can honestly say karaoke has always been about bringing people together. My own birthday was celebrated there on karaoke night, and it was one of the most amazing and unforgettable nights. We also celebrated my niece's graduation on karaoke night, and it was another incredible evening filled with friends, family, laughter, and great memories. Seeing an employee post something so negative about an event that so many of us genuinely enjoy is disappointing. From the outside looking in, it seems like there's been a big shift in whoever is running these events. I recently attended both karaoke night and ladies' night, and the atmosphere was completely different from what many of us have come to love. FYI, karaoke night *brings people together*. I can't think of a single time we've gone and not had a great night. That's why this post doesn't reflect what 9 Feet Under has always represented to so many of us. If you work there and karaoke night is that terrible *for you*, maybe it's worth asking yourself why that is. Or perhaps this isn't the right environment for you. But please don't portray an event that has created so many positive memories for so many people as something negative, because that's simply not the experience the rest of us have had. Now you've lost customers!!

We had: **Carbonara Croquetas - most universally loved, one person in our party said he'd eat a full meal of just this item and be perfectly happy. They are small, crispy, and not too heavy. Perfect way to start the meal and a wonderful complete to my... Lychee Martini! It's been ages since I've had a martini and THIS was a good way to indulge. Floral, not too sweet, not too overwhelming. For a lighter more refreshing option the Parisienne was so good too (like a Hugo spritz with a twist) *Yellow fin Crudo: with avocado and super crispy / not greasy wonton triangles - i could this as a meal (daily lol) - fish was super fresh, avocado perfectly ripe / seasoned and presentation was spot on *Brussel Salad (shaved) - super fresh and light, good balance to some of the richer dishes - 3 of us shared and there was more than enough *Mussels - large and plump, bread perfectly buttered and crisped, sauce was a very light but well seasoned. Way more than you think it is, main course portion Mains: *Snapper - perfectly crusted and cooked to flaking but juicy yumminess. We ate every bite of the greens it was present on, fabulous presentation and combination ****Skirt Steak - **personal favorite** even though I try to eat as much seafood as I can when I'm in town. Comes with 2 sauces (on the side, chimmichurri and green peppercorn) and it's hard to decide which is best (lots of different options on this subject Didn't have room for dessert, but will try to be more restrained next time to try!

Service was attentive and warm throughout, though there was a fairly long wait between the second course and dessert. To start, the tuna tartare was outstanding, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. My friend's calamari with risotto was excellent as well. The salmon, unfortunately, fell a bit flat and lacked seasoning. The fries, on the other hand, were a highlight crisp, super fresh, and thoroughly delicious. For dessert, I ordered the panna cotta, which in texture and presentation was closer to a mousse than a traditional panna cotta, but honestly, it didn't matter. Whether you call it a panna cotta or a mousse, the flavor was incredible and the texture was lovely, finished with a bright, tangy mango topping that tied it all together. One tip! the restaurant runs quite cold, so dress warmly if you're planning to visit. Overall, a lovely spot.

We had to clear a table to have access to it. Everything, except the bar, is self serve. The hot items were good. A toaster is available to toast English muffin and bagels. They have a great coffee machine for self serve lattes and the like. It's a good spot for a long layover. But there is room for improvement.

On this visit we had the pleasure of experiencing Flagship First dining which is a private, full-service restaurant within the Flagship Lounge. Flagship First dining exists only in Miami and DFW. The LAX Flagship First dining remains closed. Food and beverage options in Flagship First are definitely a step above the standard Flagship Lounge offerings including Laurent-Perrier Grand Siecle champagne! Many years ago, Flagship First had Krug champagne but sadly no more. The decor inside is classy and chic and service is impeccable and attentive. I wanted to try something small since I knew the flight would have a meal as well. I tried the crab cake which was excellent and the perfect size for a snack. Of course, I had the Laurent-Perrier champagne as well - truly outstanding! For dessert I had the poached pear which was delightful! I also had the Irish coffee, but this was much worse than the one I had experienced in DFW. There was neither a cinnamon stick nor whipped cream because they were apparently out of both. Oh well. First world problems! Anyway, definitely visit the Flagship Lounge if you are able and definitely, definitely try Flagship First dining if you get the chance!
