I can't say enough good things about Bio SoCal. I needed biohazard remediation services for an…read moreunattended death situation, and from the very first call, Alan and Samantha handled everything with professionalism, compassion, and complete transparency. Scheduling was smooth and they showed up exactly when they said they would. Pricing was fair and clearly explained upfront -- no surprises, no pressure. They communicated every step of the way, so I always knew what was happening and what to expect next. What really stood out was the human side of their work. They understood that this wasn't just a job site -- it was someone's home and a difficult time for the family. They treated it that way. They also took the time to educate me about the specific issues that come with an unattended death situation, which helped me make informed decisions and gave me real peace of mind. The work itself was thorough and professional. If you're facing one of these situations -- and nobody plans to be -- Bio SoCal is exactly who you want in your corner. Highly recommend without reservation.

Alan assessed the situation and immediately created a workflow to rapidly eliminate a biohazard nightmare. He clearly explained every step with a calm command of his specialized work in extreme conditions. He's been there and done that. His fully-geared ground team sanitized and cleared a packed space and surrounding areas in rapid time. It was a precision production by team lead Kyle and his crew, who also expertly communicated with those impacted by the conditions. They're genuine pros. "Look no further" can sound like hype. In this case: Look no further.

When a substantial leak drenched our crawl space, I needed help urgently. I called Frank on a…read moreFriday night and he was able to send his team the following weekend. His crew is professional, punctual, and patient. I'm an over-planner and worrier, but Danny and Daniel were always patient, kind, and thorough in their explanations, putting my mind at ease. Frank was also always accessible over the phone and text message if I had additional questions about scheduling and the scope of work. The company also offers general construction services, and Frank offered a bid to patch an exterior stucco wall that our plumber had to get into. Based on our positive experience with the concurrent moisture mitigation work, we decided to contract with Frank on the patching project, too. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to work with Frank and his team again. I highly recommend Save The Day Restoration!

Save The Day Restoration was awesome to work with. From the moment they showed up, they laid down…read moreplastic walkways to protect my wood entryway and the clean carpet they had to walk over. And then they created a containment center in both affected areas that had CDC energy! It immediately gave me confidence that they were going to take the job seriously and I was in good hands. At one point, I realized the downstairs carpet padding hadn't been removed (after they had already left for the week on a Friday), and I assumed I'd be stuck waiting until Monday. Instead, they turned around and came back within minutes to fix it. That kind of customer service is not something I experience often. Their quote was definitely higher than the other company I got an estimate from, but I felt like they were the ones who were going to do it right and not cut corners. I feel good knowing I won't have to worry about hidden moisture or mold down the line. Huge shout-out to Danny, who gave me the estimate and led the job, super professional and clearly knows his stuff. And Daniel, who felt like his right-hand guy, was incredibly respectful and kind. Honestly the whole team was great. I rarely walk away from vendors feeling this satisfied, but they really lived up to their name. Highly recommend.

Robert and his team at Ameriflood were outstanding from start to finish. When assessing the damage,…read moreRobert and David were professional, polite, and thorough--standing out as the only company to inspect the roof. That level of diligence made hiring them an easy choice. And, they had competitive rates. On the day of the work, Robert arrived with another skilled worker (I believe it was Hector), and they both did an excellent job. I especially appreciated that they took photos before (for the estimate) and after, ensuring transparency and peace of mind. Despite overseeing a major job elsewhere, Robert still made time to check on progress. Their work was finished a few days before the big storm. We're happy with the results and highly recommend Ameriflood!

Ameriflood truly deserves zero stars. I don't think they are competent and should be in business at…read moreall. When they came to my home, I was suffering from chronic mold sickness (shortness of breath in addition to many more horrible chronic symptoms), which was explained to them numerous times. They came out and tested using a mold testing protocol and found mold in the air. For an accurate test, the protocol is to not have any windows open, doors open, or fans on for 24 hours prior to testing. This is standard protocol for obtaining an accurate mold air test. After they found the first leak, they tore out the drywall around it. I then watched Ameriflood spray down the entire rooms walls and floor with a very harsh industrial fungicide that is only intended for spot-treating actual mold. This product is dangerous for people who are already experiencing breathing issues from mold. It is not recommended for residential use, and there are a bunch of natural, non-toxic products they could have used. This product when overused dries and leaves an even more dangerous dust. Ameriflood then covered the rooms walls and floor with plastic all around and wanted to keep a HEPA filter running in the sealed room right up to the testing time. I protested that it wouldn't be accurate, so they agreed to turn off the machine 24 hours prior. They then tested, and the result was more mold! They tore up more of the room and found more leaks. They sprayed down the entire room with chemicals AGAIN! Now the room increasingly started to smell like cheese. They finally realized they had trapped a ton of water under the wood flooring, so they tore that up. They then sprayed down the entire room with Shockwave AGAIN! They sealed the walls and everything with plastic again and they ran two industrial HEPA filters in the room. Despite knowing I was not comfortable with it, and there being a giant wet puddle of chemicals in the middle of the room, they turned off the 2 hepa filters for just one minute, conducted a mold test, and took the filters away. The results-Zero mold. Of course! 2 Industrial Hepa Filers were running and the room interior is covered with plastic. I cant express how disrespectful that was, all considering. I protested that there was no way a test like that could be accurate and the room smells like Cheese! Meanwhile, I was getting sicker! And I was actively communicating this to them. They then came to test again. Results: MOLD! They finally tore out the drywall in the closet that I had been asking them to look behind the entire time. There, they found mold and a leak I had pointed out as a potential issue months prior. They also sprayed Shockwave again! I got sicker. I hired another mold testing company because Ameriflood was providing fraudulent testing. Finally another mold specialist told me all about Shockwave and how no one should use it the way it was being used and how it negatively impacts the health of people who already have complications from mold. Its a know issue. This guy said, people genearlly dont use it residentially anymore because it is not healthy. After finding this out; I asked Ameriflood all about it and they confirmed, they use Shockwave because its industrial grade. Bragged about how it kills everything! I feel the manager and employees totally disregarded the facts regarding my situation from day 1 and from all my research completely misused a highly volatile dangerous chemical product in my HOME! In my experience, Ameriflood was grossly incompetent and engaged in dangerous, fraudulent work. They acted dishonestly, misled me, and weren't accountable. People reach out to them for help, and we put trust in them. It is sad that companies like this exist; I do not think its fair that they do exist and that there isnt proper regulation so that this company can be held accountable. I have documented everything! Please reach out to me, if you as well have had a similar experience with Ameriflood. I would like to know about it as I believe we can collaborate in helping do something about it. I believe what they have done is truly illegal, or at least should be. Don't be gaslit, people!

We had a mold issue in our primary bedroom. Ricky gave a thorough quote and helped to feel…read moreconfident that the remediation scope would fully address the issue. His team set up a solid containment, performed the work to scope, and passed clearance testing with a third party company. They also offered to leave their containment up (including some temp poles) for the duration of my build-back project. The team was careful of my house during the demo which involved carrying large, heavy pieces of shower glass down some stairs and through some turns. The only downside I found during the process was the need to pay for the site visit for the quote. This payment is credited to the bill and it wound up being a non-issue due to selecting BH environmental for the job, but none of the other companies I had out requested payment for the quoting visit.

UPDATE: I appreciate your pride and accountability in your business. We just had very little…read moreconfidence that your bid - the only one for which we paid - was reliable. None of this process was communicated clearly to us. I appreciate the owner's effort to make it right with a refund of the fee. I wouldn't even recommend requesting an estimate from these people. I wish I hadn't. The star is because someone technically came out. They were the only ones who charged a fee to come out, and their inspector spent a total of maybe 50 seconds in the bathroom that had water damage. The person who came out told us would have an estimate within a day, and no estimate. Unlike the other companies that came out, he made no inquiry about the age of the house or mention of required asbestos testing. Overall, his visit did not inspire confidence that any estimate we did get (if we got one) would be valid or accurate (not require change orders). Maybe the reason why some reviewers say they're cheaper is that they cut corners? (We wouldn't know as we never got our estimate.) We were really dissatisfied even with our (extremely brief) visual inspection experience. Communication with respect to the process was not good (as we don't know what's going on). Clearly my short list selection process failed me here. ETA: Apparently they were waiting on payment for the estimate (no one made clear what this process was), which we finally got, and indeed did not include asbestos testing.
