We were so fortunate to accidentally step into this restaurant. After we watched the ringing of the astronomical clock, it started to rain. This was the closest restaurant we found to escape the rain, so we decided to eat here until the rain stopped. I don't think we could've found a better restaurant to eat lunch at.
Across the board, everything was incredible. You are first struck by the magnificent interior, which you don't immediately see until you walk deeper into the restaurant where it opens up to a vaulted ceiling filled with lighted birds. Service here is impeccable and of course everyone here speaks English. The lunch menu is limited. They also have a kids' menu. While waiting for the food, noticed even the tables are special. The appetizer bread came out quickly and was even served on warm rocks! We ordered the roasted mackerel, duck sausage, and tomato pasta. Food presentation and taste were excellent. Price was also extremely reasonable.
Must stop by here after you see the astronomical clock for lunch, even if it's not raining. read more
