Another stop at La Neta, this time the exquisite lounge for happy hour. Great filling food and a delicious black berry and basil drink, dipped in sugar. A wonderful happy hour to say the least and should be a top choice with all our options in Summerlin.

We have been going to La Neta for YEARS. Enough to see many changes in management, menu, and bartenders/servers. It has been enough to call it a second home as we were always received with open arms and kindness. Today we were shocked that they denied us entry, even after reserving a spot and showing up on time. There were two tables empty and we were denied entry. So many happy memories have been built here and today we were treated like nobody's. They didn't offer any kind of support and left us there on the side. Very disappointing.

So it's not traditional Mexican, think of Tex mex with a modern twist but still pretty good. If given the choice between here and Juan's flaming fajitas, come here and get a margarita instead. The lounge is stunning and their bar rocks. The drinks are always strong but well balanced and it's my cup of tea. They have a ton of events that happen on their lounge during happy hour so check it out before you get your shopping on. Their dining room is on the opposite side and it has comfortable seating for medium size groups. No complaints on service, they do what they need to do but no wow moments.

Came here for dinner and it did not disappoint! The food was really good and everything tasted fresh. The place itself is super cute and has a great vibe. Service was solid and everything came out smoothly. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

We came here for happy hour on a Sunday around 3pm Walking in : no one to speak with or ask about seating After we sat down: The staff wasn't too welcoming (only if you care about hospitality other than that just go with the flow) HH Food: Carnitas Tacos - flavorful so good Queso & Chips - amazing Queso Empanada - so good wish it was an order of 3 Ceviche ( not the best) HH Drinks: El Pepino Margarita - I was skeptical because the waitress that made it had to try it and asks the other waitress to try it / didn't have tajin so it was okay nothing I'd like to order again. Spicy Piña Margarita- this one had tajin it was okay it had a kick to it seemed like fresh piña was in it also okay. Overall - I loved the vibe, chill, cowboys and eagles has on, we sat at the bar! We definitely want to come back I'd love to try more drinks myself but my husband for sure loved the queso , tacos and empanada. I'm also interested in the main restaurant to see the type of food and drinks are on that side.

Happy to update my review from a couple years ago. This place has really found its way. I have been back twice now and the food does not disappoint. I joined my fellow Yelp sisters last night for dinner. We elected to dine in the lounge where we had comfortable seating. We started with the chicken flautas which is a favorite of mine. We all had cocktails too which were refreshing. For our entree's we chose the Birria Tacos with rice and beans and the chicken tacos. Everyone was happy with their meal and our bellies were full. It was a quiet night in the lounge until 7:00pm. My only complaint is why they have to turn the music up so loud at 7:00?? In our city, no one even comes out to party till way after 10:00pm. It makes it really difficult to hold a conversation once they crank up the tunes. On weekends this place is hopping but rather chill during the week. Service was outstanding from our server Alexa. She was so helpful and was very sweet. I will dine here again in the future.

Just because it's Tuesday, it's unlimited tacos & marg's night here at La Neta... and you're not here? Oh! Get here as fast as you can! (And take the 206 all the way to the western end in Summerlin if you can.) For only $35 per person, this is a Taco Tuesday deal you can't beat with a brunch fork. Those are full strength marg's, and full flavor tacos you see on my table served by a fully-fledged server who knows how to make the journey yours, and yours alone. This is the perfect pre-game treats for the Aviators' playoff game across the street later tonight. And the ambiance here is the best it can be! It's opulent, and salsa, and sweet, and spicy all at the same time... just like a salsa dancer's wet dream... right down to the loop of great Latino dance numbers from the movies... including the Katherine Zeta Jones number from the Zoro series in her early days (before even the Follies Pink T-Mobile dress). Everything sparkles here, right down to the giant rose that holds court over the lounge. The videos just magically sync with the ambient tunes, the same way Uptown Funk synchronizes with classic movie rap numbers. And the food, although limited in scope does not disappoint ( there's actual carne in my carnitas... not just the memory of beef that should have e been). So do hurry on down my friends! And enjoy your next Taco Tuesday with ¡La Neta!

Located in the Summerlin Mall stopped for a quick bite and a little beverage. Always a relaxing environment paired with good service early in the afternoon.

Went for bae's 41st birthday for Happy Hour before a movie. The spot was easy to find and there was ample parking. The decor inside is nice with the lighting coming through in just the right spots. It was cozy, and there were different sofas and chairs to sit in as well as the bar area. We chose to sit at the bar. While we were the only ones at the bar the server was not very attentive to us. We did get our food rather quickly, and the street tacos weren't my favorite. The carnita meat was kind of bland, whereas bae's flautas were better than what I had chosen. The cheese sauce was a nice change from the normal white queso, but we also forget that white queso isn't something served a lot in Mexico. Their take was good, which is why I give the place 4 stars. The drinks were alright, the El FLACO is a good place to start. The margarita was super super salty and I am not sure why. We did have salt on the rim but that shouldn't have been enough to make it taste the way it did. I had to wait for the ice to melt for it to be drinkable. Overall it was a nice place. It's out of the way for us but if we're ever on that side of town and need a quick pick me up we'd go back!

I really appreciate that La Neta offers happy hour every day from 3-6 PM. Most places limit it to weekdays, and if they do run a weekend happy hour it's usually at some odd late hour. The happy hour takes place in the lounge area, which has a cool vibe and makes for a fun spot to grab drinks. The seating is a little on the quirky side--not the most comfortable for hanging out too long--but it definitely adds to the atmosphere. We really enjoyed our drinks, which were well-made and came out quickly. My friend ordered the ceviche, though, and we weren't too impressed with that dish. I'd definitely recommend La Neta if you're looking for a casual place to enjoy good happy hour drinks with friends.

Perfect spot for a cute and delicious brunch with friends or a date. Enjoyed the jalapeño chicken and waffles, churrasco and eggs, and huevos rancheros.

We stumbled upon this place while visiting Las Vegas . Immediately fell in love with the ambience, decorations, and vibe . Dominique our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. He guided me through my margarita choices and was right on point with his descriptions . The food is amazing !! Really enjoyed the chips and salsa , the green sauce chicken enchiladas were amazing. And my happy hour tacos were very flavorful . I tried the carnitas and the tinga chicken tacos . The rice and beans with the enchiladas were very tasty and unique . We will definitely be back .

LOBSTER TOSTADA -not worth it! They are pretty though

La Neta Cocina y Lounge Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - La Neta Cocina y Lounge

Is this restaurant ok for children age around 6 years old for dinner saturday night? Is there a kids menu

    When is reverse happy hour?

    9pm to close

    Do they have TV's?

Yes, there is two at the bar

I did see a question already about kids, to confirm- would an 11month old be allowed? I know some restaurants have a minimum age requirement/limit.

We had a baby under one in our group and we were fine. We did keep him in his car seat

I don't see a brunch menu. Is it trh same as the reg menu?

The brunch menu is different and can be found on their website.

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like flour taquitos that would cross contaminate gluten free corn tortilla chips? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

Is the dinner menu served all day long or do they have specific times for lunch and dinner menu's? I'm on a mission to try this BFT, Lobster taco and i only see that it is on their dinner menu.

There is only their brunch menu which is on weekends, lounge menu just for the lounge and dinner menu for the main dining area.

    Do they offer Bottomless mimosa?

Yes they do for $25. As for the other 2 responses do them a favor and don't go back. Roberto's is more suited for you

    Are there any vegan options?

Yes. It's actually one of the reasons we planned a visit

What are the happy hour days and hours?

We serve happy hour daily in our lounge only from 3-6pm. We also serve late night happy hour in the lounge on Sunday-Thursday 10pm-midnight and Friday-Saturday 11pm-2am.

I made reservation for lunch and asked if kids were ok in the lounge side since the restaurant side would not be open at 4 I was told it was ok... is that wrong?

I know in the evenings, the lounge is the bar side, but I'm not sure about at lunchtime!! I've only been there for dinner but the food, music and ambiance is awesome!! Have fun 🤩

What's the difference between lounge seating and dining room seating for reservations?

Lounge seating is in the bar area and dining seating is on the restaurant side!!

Do they have a gluten sensitive menu?

Is there dancing in the lounge?

What kind of the Dress code?

They don't have one posted for the dining room but everyone seemed upscale casual; the vibe is trendy but not fancy cocktail attire, if that makes sense. Not sure about the lounge side, but I'd play it safe and dress for a night out.

Is there a brunch menu? Also, do they offer bottomless mimosas at their brunch?

    c, there es brunch menu

Walk in acceptable? Phone number says it's not a working number.

Yes, but its a new hot-spot. I suggest better safe with a reservation:)

    Do they have happy hour?

    Yes they do! Mon-Fri 3-6pm.

Do you guys allow people under 21 for dining?

Yes. It's not just a bar or lounge, but also a full-fledged restaurant. You just probably cannot sit at the bar.

Are kids allowed in the restaurant side?

Yes. There was kids there last night

The entrance is guarded by big, heavy doors (especially noticeable if there's any wind), and once inside it's cool, dark, and very spacious. They have a couple of pay-as-you-go pool tables, plenty of TVs showing various sports, plus bar seating and regular tables that were readily available. We arrived in the late afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. We claimed one of the pool tables and a server greeted us before long. They offer a solid selection of beers on tap along with the usual cocktails. We ended up coming back later that night after meeting up with more friends for a cover-band concert at Red Rock. When I corrected her, it was clear she realized the assumption backfired, but there was no acknowledgment or apology, which made the interaction feel even more uncomfortable. Once I got the food home, things didn't improve. The club sandwich was overloaded with mayo to the point it was unpleasant, and the vegetables were wilted and clearly not fresh. The chili was especially disappointing honestly inedible. It tasted like canned chili with extra seasoning added in an attempt to make it seem more authentic and spicy, but it completely missed the mark. Someone else had the Caesar salad with chicken and described it as "fine," but that was the only neutral note in an otherwise poor experience. The ambiance in the restaurant was great, service was quick and friendly and the overall cost was also very good. By the time we had finished our meal, there was a line out front so get there early if you're going for happy hour. This is also a great place to watch the World Cup soccer games
