I showed Jamie a reference photo of what I wanted and she made them look even better than the picture. My nails came out really well and felt very wedding-day ready. My husband's hands also looked clean and well-groomed - everything felt polished for our big day. I don't live nearby so it's a bit out of the way for me, but I would absolutely make the trip again specifically to get my nails done by Jamie.

I came around 6pm on a weekday and it was super packed. Definitely get an appointment beforehand if you can, but they also accept walk-in's. I was a walk-in and they sat me almost immediately. I recently switched jobs further away, but I'll be making time on my days off to come see her. Also wanted to say something about the young man who was answering phones today. He was perhaps a manager of sorts? Anyway, he was getting totally chewed out over the phone by some customer. Obviously I don't know the exact situation, but it's never okay to speak that way to any service provider! Kudos to him for keeping his cool, calmly offering multiple solution options, and ultimately speaking up (still politely) to let the customer know that they needed to tone it down.

So, I randomly drove out of my way to catch any available tech. CiCi was called over to help me. And the whole experience, from beginning to end was just so catered to me. Light touches, consideration of my phone use, providing me with easy options, and I left with a very stylized French manicure perfect for spring. Dry gel manicure cost $60, but I was done in about 35 minutes even with a previous gel soak off. This is the type of service I'm happy to spend money on. Sandy did my manicure, and my first-ever cat eye nails came out absolutely incredible! She was quick, efficient, incredibly patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions. The shoulder massage at the end was such a nice touch and left me feeling so relaxed. Tammy did my pedicure, and she was also amazing. I tend to get painful ingrown nails, so I'm always nervous, but she was so gentle and made me feel completely comfortable. The massage, hot stones, and warm towels were so relaxing. She even offered me water, other beverages, and a snack, which made the experience feel extra special. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and so happy. Thank you, Sandy and Tammy! I had a Groupon for a pedicure here, and upon reviewing their website noted that they had 20% off for their opening and that gel nails were 45, so even though I normally go to Enjoy Nails in Palo Alto I thought why the heck not, I'll go here this week. The establishment is fine, but the woman who greeted me was on the phone, and remained on the phone while she started my pedicure. Any semblance of a "heavenly" spa experience was gone. A second woman came later, who started my nails, filing them down to thin stubs. Then we moved to the table, at which point the woman that had been doing my toes (who by the way, didn't wear a mask the entire time I was there) began blow drying her hair right behind me. Unhygienic and unprofessional. The manicurist finished my hands, at which point both women wandered into the back, seeming unsure of what to do next. Then the pedicurist/apparent hair stylist in training walked out on the phone again, demanding 55. I explained that wasn't what was on the website, pulling out the list for them to see. She saw the listed price, then got back into a heated conversation on the phone, at which point she hands the phone to me, informing me that it's the owner. This woman is ultimately why I wrote this review. If you want to create loyal clientele at your new business, I wouldn't recommend yelling at them over the phone. Nor would I recommend trying to bargain: this is a business, not a flea market. She insists that the service I received (pictured below, as well as what I had asked for) was not gel, but dip, despite my initial request over the phone and in person for gel and that my total was 55. I again showed the menu, and the pedicurist woman took pictures of my phone for her boss, but she continued to yell at my that it was 55. Then she said she could do 20% off 55 for 45. That's just not even the correct math. I really just wanted to leave at this point, as I was tired of being berated and paid the 44 (20% of 55) plus tip. They only accept Venmo or Zelle, which is beyond sketchy. The pedicurist then apologized to me, saying that she has to call her boss because if they get the wrong price they get yelled at. Not only do the employees not know what the prices are, the owner is rude to them. I wholeheartedly do not support this establishment and will not be returning.
