She was thorough and attentive, and she took great care of me. I did the essential pedi and she timed a 5 minute foot and leg massage which was a nice touch. I was really happy with Kathy's cuticle work too. The salon is quiet and relaxing, even if a bit tight. The only thing that was disappointing was the nail polish for my mani. The polish was dried out and a bit chunky, so it looks thicker than I would have preferred, even though the top coat smoothed out the streakiness. Hopefully it lasts. Overall, would come here again, and just speak up if the polish isn't as smooth as preferred. read more

Not only is her work consistently beautiful, but she also stands behind it--offering rework if anything chips or lifts within days. That kind of care is rare and seriously appreciated. This salon is often buzzing, so definitely book ahead! There's easy parking (a small miracle in the Bay), and they offer discounted prices if you pay in cash--bonus! As for Lee: she just gets it. I needed to get a fill so I checked for nail places near me and Kitchen Nail Bar came up. They have a lot of different stores throughout the Bay Area. I chose this store because it is conveniently located near my job. I was able to book an appointment on their website. I chose to get an acrylic fill with Tuyen since she had a lot of good reviews online and she was also available at the time lot I wanted. Tuyen was extremely nice. I really liked how she did my nails!!! She is very meticulous and took her time on my nails. She never seemed rushed..some shops rush and I really don't like that. Nancy was my nail tech who was working at the Blossom Hill location the day I went. Even before she started the pedicure she asked me to review her which was a red flag in itself. The massage during my pedicure and manicure were soo bad, my cat would've put more pressure on me. She seemed to only care about her yapping session which was nonstop with whoever was sitting next to her. She hardly looked at my legs or arms during the 1 hr 45 min session. And the way she painted my nails were so bad, a 3 year old would've done a better Job. I had to ask her to clean up the edges coz it was incredibly messy. I would not recommend anyone to pay $150 plus tip to end up looking worse than what you would've done yourself read more

​Lee is the best! I do acrylics with gel polish, and have been going to Lee for a fill and new design every month for a year now. Her sets always last the full 4 weeks between appointments without chipping or breaking even though I'm pretty hard on my nails. Nail drills have always scared me off from doing acrylics in the past, but Lee has a very gentle and confident touch that makes me feel comfortable. She also does a great job with whatever design I come in with, and will help me choose the right color (or occasionally blend of colors) to get my vision just right. For my wedding nails she even did a double-length appointment with me to make sure my manicure was absolutely perfect for my big day, and it was! I get complimented on my nails constantly now.
