It was my first time visiting this location, and unfortunately, I left disappointed. I had an appointment scheduled but was later asked if I could come at a different time. I was happy to be flexible and later arrived 10 minutes early. When I walked in I noticed there wasn't a designated waiting area for clients. Then later I was told that my appointment had been forgotten and that a walk-in had been taken instead. I was understandably a little disappointed, but I remained understanding. A little after another nail tech. came from the back and was able to help me. Before we began, I communicated twice that I was there for a builder gel fill. I've had this service done many times, so I'm familiar with the filing process. However, much more product was filed away than I've ever experienced during a fill, which seemed to defeat the purpose of getting one. The filing also felt quite aggressive. While I understand the need to work efficiently, I experienced a burning sensation several times, and the technician even applied pressure to the top of my nail to help relieve the discomfort. After this happened repeatedly, I no longer felt comfortable continuing with the UV curing process because I was concerned about the sensitivity of my nails. I explained that I had changed my mind and would instead like to receive only cuticle care and nail shaping. The technician asked a coworker to assist with translation, but unfortunately, the interaction didn't feel welcoming. I calmly explained again that I wasn't comfortable placing my nails under the UV light and wanted to give them time to recover. The coworker appeared visibly frustrated and responded by pressing firmly on my nail and rubbed her finger against it to demonstrate that the builder gel was still present. The original technician completed the cuticle care and nail shaping, and I paid for her time and service. I appreciate that she finished the appointment, but overall, the experience did not leave me wanting to return. I also think the salon could benefit from a designated waiting area for clients and some soft background music to create a more welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. read more

The quality of their work is consistently excellent: clean shaping and good polish choices, and a clean and pleasant environment. The techs are friendly and detail-oriented. One thing to note for anyone booking online: if you're scheduling a manicure and pedicure to be done simultaneously with two technicians, to get in and out quickly, I recommend calling ahead to confirm. All three of my visits were specifically booked that way, but each time they assigned only one tech, which meant my appointments ran really long and I ended up having to cancel work meetings and be seriously late for another appointment. They continued to accept walk-ins, which I understand, but it was a bit frustrating that my 1-hour appointment took over 2 hours. It's still a great salon with wonderful service; just plan on budgeting extra time or double-check your booking if you're in a rush. I'll keep coming back, but I will be sure to call ahead next time to confirm. read more

The owner said he would make sure there were enough people there for both my daughter (7) and I to have mani pedis in that short time frame. Long story short, we definitely were done in time, and the nails look amazing! I just finished with a pedicure with Sarah. First when I told her my last pedicure was 7 weeks ago she didn't believe me. I had gel polish and said there is no way gel last that long. To me that was rude. Then I brought my own color, and when she finish, she had to be reminded that I wanted my bottle back. She painted 2 coats of color over the base. And then she left the salon. She didn't say I'll be right back nothing. I waited 10 mins. Asked another tech, don't you do top coat, she said yes but looked like I was asking for an additional service. I asked where Sarah went, but she said she just left. I paid for my service, but will never recommend or return to this salon. Terrible customer service. There aren't enough words to describe how INCREDIBLE Sarah is!! I first came here in January after a year of getting dip powder somewhere else and my nails were so fragile and broken that I couldn't even run them under warm water without them hurting. I came to Nail Bar Too on a whim to see if someone had advice and Sarah immediately knew what to do. We spent several months getting them healthy again with regular naked manicures and finally was able to do gel builder this time around. I so appreciated how she didn't try to upsell me on an expensive service that could "fix" my nails which other places have tried to do in the past. She explained the science behind how nail beds work and what to look for to know if they need to breathe or not. I will never trust someone else with nails again! This treatment included a facial peel, collagen stimulation and skin hydration. My skin looked so healthy, smooth and bright when she was finished and fine lines were reduced. Leona uses high end skin creams from Switzerland and collagen stimulating tools from France. She takes great care in giving you the best service and even recommends skin products and tools you can get for yourself if you'd like to maintain these results.
