The cashiers are always very nice and they always serve with a smile. I ordered the spicy special chicken and gyoza to go and chicken udon I ate there. The sevice was great, friendly and inviting. The udon cost a little over $8 and was delicious. My problem starts when I get home realive how light my $8 to go box o teriyaki felt. I have never in my whole 20 years of enjoying teriyaki felt so scammed in the portions I recieved. Simply the best little dive of a Teriyaki restaurant that I have ever eaten at in the greater Seattle area. I had the combination plate of beef and chicken with salad and rice. Great attention was paid into making an absoutely succulent dish and I will be back for more. This restaurant does take some time to make the food, but anything good is worth waiting for, right? Nothing makes moving day better than having this gem 3 minutes from my new apartment! Typical teriyaki hole in the wall but that where the similarities end. Ordered the spicy chicken and Katsu combo. Spicy chicken was beautifully cooked and sauced with a good amount of heat. Katsu was, unlike most places, not over cooked and stringy, but hot and golden brown with juicy tender chicken. Great katsu sauce too.I like how they sauce the rice instead of adding a small container of gooey sauce. typical iceberg lettuce "salad" with a mayo based dressing. Was hoping for more of a vinegar kick but the salad is really an afterthought. While I waited for my food the phone rang nonstop which tells me I'm not alone in finding my new teriyaki spot. The place was busy for a Friday night as to be expected. A lot of regulars who ordered ahead. Several said they really liked it and had been coming for years! I got my food home and sat down to eat. Great place for teriyaki. I don't go up north that often but I was running an errand and got hungry for teriyaki and ran into this place. The owners are super nice!! As for the food...amazing!! I honestly came in thinking it was gonna be mediocre teriyaki but the spicy chicken was really good. Portions are perfect, I got full and couldn't finish a few pieces of meat and I'm a pretty heavy eater. The chicken was very tender and I appreciate how they didn't go too overboard or stingy with their sauce. The seasoning of the chicken was also very delicious and the rice had a really good texture I can't explain it (I never really comment about rice cus how can you screw up rice???). My bf left is wallet inside after we left and he ran to the parking lot to give it back even though he has customers waiting. One small thing, however not enough to subtract one star, I wish they made it slightly spicier, I like spicy food a lot and wanted it to be a little bit spicier without having to add Siracha. Their salad was also pretty good, I don't know what it is with some teriyaki places but their salad dressing is usually very wet but this place had a good consistency with their salad dressing. Overall, I'm definitely coming back here if I'm ever back in Lynwood and craving teriyaki!! read more

Affordable and consistently tasty teriyaki! This is a family owned and operated restaurant and they definitely work hard. They are usually quite busy around dinner time so definitely call your order in ahead of time, the door is always ready in the time promised. Spicy chicken, regular chicken and the chicken/beef combo are always delicious! They have both brown and white rice. Gyoza are a nice addition as well. I have been a regular here for years, but will never return again. I used to love coming here. The man and woman who used to take orders up front were so sweet and friendly. Now they are in the back and a young lady with a stone-cold attitude problem is taking the orders up front and handing out the food. I'm not sure what she is so angry about. I enjoyed the teriyaki, so I let it slide for a few months, but she never brushed it off. Tonight, my friend poured the complimentary tea into two Styrofoam cups stacked together because one cup was too hot to hold. When the young lady came by to bring our meals, she scolded my friend for using two cups - in front of the other patrons. It was such a nasty tone that we thought she was being sarcastic and we laughed. It wasn't until she was walking away that we realized she was serious, which really ruined the mood of our meal. 5 Corners Teriyaki, here's a tip: Treat your customers with respect, especially your regular customers, because you just lost a regular tonight. Been going to 5 Corners Teriyaki for 15 years! Love the people that run the joint. The staff are always really nice to me and to my children. When my kids were little, Ann would make a big deal out of them and give each child a lollipop. We usually do takeout and always order the white meat chix teriyaki and think it's the best in town...we've tried them all. Only one time on 15 years did the meal not turn out right and they were aghast and took care of things right away. Big portions. Not overloaded with sauce(add your own) and fresh side 'salad'. Good basic teriyaki with lots of flavor, the Spicy Chicken is my fave but it's def. spicy! The prices are average and the serving sizes plentiful, I see a few complaints about serving sizes but what they give you is way more than one person needs to eat at a time! Really solid food, is quickly becoming my favorite teriyaki place, even though the wait time to get an order always seems to be long. They appear to be very popular, because they are constantly filling to go orders. If you didn't call in ahead of time, you can expect to wait quite a while. There's limited seating space, but there never seems to be a lot of people staying there to eat, so I've never had trouble being seated. The chicken and pork teriyaki are my favorite.
