It's been a really long time since I've had good teriyaki and I'm so glad I took a chance here! I've been twice now thanks to work lunches and the portions are huge and can easily last me 3 meals, they have the juicy plump chicken, iykyk. There are some places that make their chicken teriyaki dry, tough, and just flat but this one is good AND they have the good salad dressing. You know the creamy one! So delicious! Honestly we didn't think of much because it didn't even have Korean fried chicken in its name but that was honestly one of the top Korean friend chicken...rather fried chicken I have ever had. Prices were extremely reasonable as compared to Bay Area prices and love that it's family owned with great service We had the chicken curry and the curry was the star, very thick and rich and paired great with fried chicken. We visited on a Monday, late in the afternoon. There were a few people dining in and a steady stream of take out orders, but plenty of places to sit. We were greeted as we walked in and took a couple minutes to look through the considerable menu. My wife ordered the teriyaki combo and I went with a Katsu combo. Both came out in about ten minutes. The gyoza were well cooked, but could have used a bit more seasoning. The chicken teriyaki was well cooked, still tender and juicy, with the right amount of char and sauce. Two generous scoops of rice provided ample starch. The salad dressing was a bit tangier and less sweet than most PNW teriyaki, but decent enough. My katsu combo felt like a mixed bag. The shrimp katsu (a first for me) was cooked perfectly, but ended up having no taste once it'd cooled. The chicken katsu was overdone: not quite burned but right on the edge where it had dried out and had an uncomfortable crunch. Again, a generous portion of rice and salad were included. I think we'd skip the gyoza next time (which is a shocker, because it's typically a fav for us) and I might retry the katsu chicken or give a spicy teriyaki a try. We'd definitely give Teriyaki and More another try even though it wasn't flawless. read more

BUT all teriyaki is not created equal and I didn't want to waste money on basic food; watery sauce, rubbery chicken. Anyway I frequent this area and idk how long this shop has been here but it was their new Korean Fried Chicken sign that actually caught my attention. Still haven't tried the fried chicken but the main star the TERIYAKI?? brought me back to childhood frfr when I used to go to Kings donuts and get the teriyaki bowl for 5$! For $9.95 I got a teriyaki bowl here and it was so so good. The wife got the katsu chicken combo she also enjoyed her food even though they almost over fried the katsu. Tried to find a sweet or at least non spicy KFC on the menu and couldn't get a clear answer on that, leaving the non spice girl in the party without a happy experience. While Teriyaki is the first thing read, I want to say the curry and fried chicken are the stars of the show (I have not had the teriyaki though, but reasons will be explained). As soon as you step inside the store, there is a strong curry smell surrounding the room. Curry is definitely strong and likely popular from first impression. Second, the fried chicken looks mouthwatering and there are different lunch combos. It's also possible to only get 5 pieces of chicken for $10, in case you aren't as hungry. Basically a quarter order, given how a full order is 20 pieces. A full order can easily be split between 2 people, but I'd push for 3 people as well. Crispy Yangnyeom Chicken - they offered me sauce on the side, which I gladly took for an opportunity to try the chicken plain. Otherwise you can opt for the chicken being glazed already. Chicken was double fried by the crunchy taste and extremely juicy. Fresh out, the chicken was also tender and burning. Yangnyeom sauce here is spicier than other places, which is more realistic of yangnyeom. Others tend to focus on the sweetness. Overall delicious and a huge portion. Crispy Ban Ban Chicken - today I learned that Ban Ban is half yangnyeom half original. In this case, half the chicken was original and half was spicier with yangnyeom sauce on the side. For a more authentic Korean experience, you may opt for this as it's a popular choice and allows one to get both sides. read more

I need to confess that I am a HUGE fan of teriyaki chicken, especially when I can order it a "little bit" spicy, and Jin and her husband ALWAYS take care of me perfectly. I live in Lynnwood, but the gym I go to is in Edmonds and I play a LOT of pickleball there, at least 4 times a week. Since I usually finish up at the gym around 7PM, at least twice a week I'll make sure Teriyaki & More is on my route home. I'll call the restaurant when I am leaving downtown Edmonds, and it is steaming hot when I get there to pick it up. If you like your teriyaki chicken a little bit spicy - I highly recommend you give this family owned restaurant a try. (I usually request they cook it with a little extra sauce each time, which makes it extra saucy/juicy, and I hope they don't mind me mentioning I do that!) I've also heard their Korean Fried Chicken is excellent, but I am a creature of habit, and so I always do my usual, and it never disappoints. Always a generous portion as well. They can do grilled chicken Yakisoba too, I sometimes bounce to that and it's very good as well. Oh, and if you prefer either of those done up REALLY spicy, they can do that too, (I learned that by accident one time, before I learned they could dial it down some) but I just like it "mildly" spicy myself. The place is quiet full when we get there around 1pm. Lots of to go orders to. The whole restaurant probably can only fit 20ppl. You order and pay first. I'm going to date myself but does anyone remember Cheers? You definitely get that feel when you walk in. The owner knows your nA true gem - hidden in a strip mall. Definitely stop by if you're on the way to the ferry or back or just in the Edmonds area. Location: across from PCC in the strip mall. The lot can fill up but there's usually at least a few spots. Ambiance: there's 8-10 small tables. Good for small groups of 2-6. Most orders seem to be for to-go so there's usually ample seating. It's a super cute little place. Service: The owners do everything and take pride in their food and service. The wife works the front and is the sweetest while the husband works the back. Even though the place might be empty food does take a little time because of the constant stream of to-go orders. But they are pretty fast. I think our order took maybe 10min Food: Got our "regular" - katsu curry and also the Korean fried chicken - half plain for my hubby and the soy garlic for me. They have expanded their menu and I might try something new next time but it's so hard when you've already landed on amazing dishes. Recommendation: you've got to give this place a try. The fried chicken is the heart and soul of this mom and pop shop in Edmonds. My partner randomly introduced this place one day and reassured me it was worth a visit despite us living in Seattle. Traveling all the way to Edmonds for fried chicken of all things left me pretty skeptical, but now I dream of coming here every other week. Their fried chicken is out of this world, with it being extremely juicy and seasoned very well. I love ordering it with the yangnyeom sauce which is a sweet and spicy sauce with a gochuchang base. It's an absolute must if you like your chicken saucy. The best part is you get a side of pickled radishes which help reset your palette with each bite. They go above and beyond when it comes to packaging your chicken to-go so that it isn't soggy by the time it gets home. The owner is very sweet and I've never been disappointed with their service or food. You definitely come here for the food vs the decor. We were craving Korean Fried chicken after a day trip in Whidbey Island on way back home. To our great surprise compared to LA's Kor FC. This was way better in taste and the cost. We knew it was a 30 min commute for it to be taken home. So to keep it fresh & crunchy we asked for our Sauce to be kept separate. Best decision ever. So we got the 10 piece yang nam for $20. In short: Another really solidly well-run neighborhood teriyaki joint. Looks like their KFC is legend, and I love this place without even having tried that yet. In long: This is a busy little strip mall on the hillside heading down to the ferry. There's an *amazing* Italian joint a couple doors down, so this parking lot can get pretty full during dinner rush. Lunch hour is okay, but if you want yaki or chicken at dinnertime and see parking, you should go for it. The outside is a bit weathered, but still welcoming. Cool old french doors. On the inside there's a shingled awning...facing into the dining room, flanked by little faux-brick divider walls. Clearly they put some thought into sprucing up the outside and decided to make it nicer inside instead. I dig it. There are two big lighted menus on the walls around the cash register, including flat screens with professional photos of their dishes. There's a drinks cooler off to the side, and a counter full of utensils over there. Service here is so warm, kind, and friendly. They have you rung up practically as soon as the words leave your mouth, and off you go to the little dining room. Big wall mirrors running the length of the side and back walls. Lots of 4-top tables that have been cleaned so many times they're shiny when they're dry. This place has served thouuuuusands of plates of food. Great sign. You get your miso soup first, if you order it, and it comes all the way from the surface of the Sun. Super duper hot. Delicious as always. Any miso soup that tastes too different is either a couple price points up from this or it's a cause for alarm--and this is the good old favorite miso you've had at a hundred places. Any chill in the air and it's *so* comforting and satisfying. They show up minutes later with your yaki. I got spicy chicken, which comes with a couple dollops of calrose rice, some iceberg mix, and a big mound of thigh meat. Grill marks still showing on the chicken. Yeah, buddy. Grilled flavor comes through, too. Spicy sauce is a little kinda sugary, mostly a big red pepper feast. Great flavor. I took down every bite. Iceberg had some creamy Italian, and I ate most of that. I skip almost all rice these days and should have told her to hold that, but I wasn't thinking. Anyway, I can't comment on it, but it certainly *looked* perfect as ever. Prices are fair here, and the crowd was rolling through non-stop. Some bougie Woodway types, some hardhats, everyone in between. Everybody seemed to love their food, and many said as much aloud. I love spots like this no matter what they serve, but I still gotta come back for the fried chicken, and that makes it even better. read more

Love this place! Nice addition to the North End and you don't have to go all the way to Lynnwood or down South to get good KFC in my opinion! I've tried the following dishes: - Crispy chicken breast tenders - Soy garlic chicken - Crispy fried chicken - Yangnyeom chicken - Chicken yakisoba I really enjoyed everything. For the non-KFC meals, the prices may be in the higher end, but the portion matches in the cost in my opinion. You can easily get two servings and the fried chicken is better than other places up North! My favorite was the chicken breast tenders and the Crispy fried chicken! The tenders are crispy, juicy and delicious! The crispy fried chicken was just ask good! I ordered the half-size for all the chicken and 10 pieces is A LOT! Soy garlic was okay- wasn't as flavorful as compared to other places. For the yangnyeom chicken, the sauce was served on the side instead of mixed/tossed with the chicken. Not sure how that happened since I didn't request it, so I was a disappointed with it since it wasn't your 'typical' yangnyeom chicken. The yakisoba was tasty and you get a side of rice. Wonderful owner. Personable and caring for the quality of her food and of her customers. Excellent fried chicken. I prefer ordering not tossed in sauce but sauces on the side so I can dip. BBQ, soy, and and authentic chili type of sauces. Soy is the fan favorite according to the restaurant and most reviews, but I like the BBQ. Not a fan of the egg rolls taste, but the crunch of the shell is perfect. And the egg rolls do not skimp on filling. Haven't tried the other menu items but I imagine the quality is as good as the chicken. read more
