Best teriyaki in town hands down. Come here for lunch twice a week. Prices are very reasonable too.

Teriyaki is fast food. Granted it can be good fast or bad fast, but it's FAST food equivalent to going to McDonalds, but it's not going to a restaurant. This place has good food, but who really wants to wait 30-40 mins for teriyaki? Really cmon now, I mean I've been here on several occasions and what happens is they get their orders mixed up so people who have ordered way after you, get helped before you do. I only recommend this place if you have a lot of time to kill, otherwise you can get just as good if not better teriyaki right down the street that takes 5-10 mins. That's why it's funny that people put such high stars for this place, there's a million teriyaki joints in WA, I'd rather go to those than keep going back here. read more

Love this place - it's our go-to for quality entrees in a hurry. My favorite is the Mongolian Beef, but my husband loves the Kung Pao Chicken. It's surprisingly hard to find high quality take out, but this place serves up fresh, well-prepared dishes with great cuts of meat. So glad we have this gem in Edmonds! read more

This place is starting to go down hill... I thought it was a one time thing but its been the last 3 times. I've been coming here for years for great food, great prices, and quick service. Now when I called, they were out of the first 2 items I ordered and it wasn't even quite dinner time. Then when I arrived to pick it up at the prescribed time it still wasn't done. They also raised their prices, and the prices don't match the board. Then to top it all off, my vehicle still smells fishy from their food. Sad to see this place go down hill, but will not be returning. On to a new teriyaki place. read more

Dreadful Service, waited 40 minutes to get food and the two people that came in and ordered 10 minutes after me got their food first! I only ordered 2 items, it's teriyaki not fine French cuisine, it shouldn't take that long and there were 4 people working behind the counter. I've seen mom and pop joints do it faster with one cook. I picked 5 corner's Teriyaki for Saturday dinner right after I moved around in Edmonds. I entered and surprised about the way they keep their floor super clean. Anyway, My friend and I ordered chicken and chow mein with chicken (or yakisoba with chicken, Whatever....). Had to wait for a while about 15~20 mins...And we got our food, it kind of looks well-done, but anyway we took a bite and It tasted really good. The meat was juicy, tender and teriyaki sauce was the BOMB!!! Most other restaurants put tons of MGS and oil on their food, in order to make it tasty, but 5 corner's actually uses good ingredients, which makes their food taste naturally good. The one thing i didn't like was the amount of chickens in chow mein. There was only several pieces. But we satisfied pretty much with everything. And i will order some Teriyaki later and wish i will have the same luck! read more

I love the meat here and the price isn't too bad. Definitely my favorite teriyaki joint in the Edmonds area. The california roll isn't all that great and I have yet to have them supply me with chopsticks when I actually break down to by a roll. Free iced water and hot tea. Best teriyaki of all time. Maybe not the most authentic asian teriyaki (i have no idea), but its sooo good. Ive been going here for years and years and they are always friendly, and they have a nice place to sit down too. Theres a TV to watch if you're waiting and theres complementary water that you can help yourself to. Good selection of drinks and you can buy big things of the sauce to take home (the best). I was out with my friends one day and we were looking for a good place to eat. We drove around the area and spotted this teriyaki place. My first impression was that the place was very clean and hygienic. The owners were very friendly and the prices were great! I ordered chicken katsu with a side of rice. The chicken was crispy and tender, and the rice was cooked just right. It's hard to find a place that doesn't either overcook or undercook their rice. In addition, this place is very convenient. I've been coming to this teriyaki joint for 7 years, ever since I was in High School, during college, and after graduation. The couple who own this place have transitioned from doing everything themselves, to hiring staff to help with the incredible amounts of business they receive. The food is good (spicy chicken is excellent, beef/pork combos is also one of my favorites), the service is quick (except from 4:00-630pm when it gets very busy), and the people who own this place have always been cheerful to me and asking how my life is going whenever I stop by. They also have the typical teriyaki-style salad with tangy sauce that most joints have. The're closed on Sunday, so keep that in mind. If there's one thing I could suggest, it's to relax a little, because they work around the clock, every day, to keep their business successful, and to me that's admirable. True Americans. read more

Good food with a great price. The parking is limited but the food is delish. From the time they open til 7p.m. they have lunch specials that cost about 5 bucks and you get a good sized meal. Just be sure to bring cash since to get the special price they wont allow the use of debit. I always get my food to-go since all meals are served in the styro box anyway. read more

My brother SWEARS by this place, and I have been sold too! Their chicken teriyaki is never dry. The chicken alone is quite flavorful--no need to drown it in sauce! The yakisoba is also AMAZING!!! I could eat here every day and be happy. The spicy chicken was perfect, 2 scoop rice, good sized iceberg salad could be improved with a few other vegis. Beth had the teriyaki chicken (with enough for another meal). We shared gyoza and had complementary hot tea. The menu is huge, you will find a great variety of options to choose from. read more

The best teriyaki in Edmonds!! I come here at least once a week and I have never been disappointed. From the pork teriyaki and chicken combo to the veggie tofu yakisoba you will be thoroughly impressed. My boys often times throughout the week will ask me when are we going there next. We are always greeted with a smile by everyone that works there and a couple times the owners have came out and gave the boys orange juice on the house! I love this place. I came here because of all the reviews. The owners are nice and always have smiles on there face. The food is extensive. I need to come back here again to try some other entrees. I had the chicken teriyaki with goyza and my wife had the lunch special. I think the lunch special is plenty. A bit smaller but not a whole bunch. The price is right. The food is great and if you eat in they serve it on plates and it looks very appetizing. A great place for lunch or dinner. read more

We eat here often as it is our closest teriyaki joint. The owners are super nice and the food is pretty good. The problem is when calling in for takeout. Frequently they will tell me food will be ready in 20 minutes and when I show up I end up waiting an additional 20-30 minutes and then get home to find an incomplete order. The teriyaki is AMAZING here. Tender, flavorful, and consistent. Usually don't write on Yelp but I liked this place so much I decided it was worth the time. I'm from New York so I had pretty high expectations but this, my first teriyaki experience in Seattle, was beyond great. You first walk into this small but cozy little shop and your nose is immediately welcomed by many mouth-watering aromas. The staff were all attentive and friendly, despite looking pretty busy with several orders. We had gyoza, spicy chicken, and chicken teriyaki. The rice was fluffy and fragrant, and the accompanying vegetables were perfectly done. All the dishes were piping hot, and our server brought over several kinds of sauces if we wanted our food extra spicy. We love this place so much, we got their spicy chicken catered for a rehearsal dinner. And the owner was nice enough to talk with us for a while. Definitely will be back again. And probably again. Spicy chicken and regular teriyaki chicken (requested all white/breast meat) did Not disappoint. Called in order about 25 minutes beforehand (was told 15). It was ready when I got there. They were busy on a Thursday night. No customers inside but they were cooking a lot of food. Will go back for sure and try other items. read more

I unfortunately have to give what has been a local favorite, only one star. I have almost always enjoyed the food, and the couple that own the restaurant are very nice. What ruins 5 corners teriyaki for me is the girl who usually works at the front, taking orders and giving out the food. She is rude and definitely appears as though she highly dislikes being there. One would think that a restaurant owner would want only the friendliest staff at the face of their business, this is not the case here. I am very disappointed and will not be returning, after being a regular here for quite some time. I hope 5 corners is able to find a solution before they lose even more customers. I've had the chicken Yakisoba and kung pao. Both were not good, especially the kung pao.
