We reserved it a month in advance for 1:30-5:30pm and were instructed to pay in full via Zelle to hold the reservation. The week of the event, I followed up with Reese to confirm everything was set. He replied that we were "all set." On the day of the party, all of the girls had arrived by 1:15pm and were excitedly waiting by the window for the limo. By 1:37pm, there was still no limo and no communication from Reese. My daughter kept asking, "Is the limo coming?" and was trying hard not to cry. At 2:02pm, after waiting over 30 minutes with zero updates, we decided to move to Plan B and drive the girls ourselves. Just as we were walking out the door, a limo finally pulled up. The driver explained there had been car trouble and that he had been called in last minute as a backup. Unfortunately, the limo itself was in very poor condition: no AC, some windows didn't work, no music system at all (we had to grab a portable speaker), and a broken seatbelt alarm that dinged nonstop the entire ride. Most disappointing of all, Reese never contacted us afterward -- no apology, no explanation, and no partial refund. Completely ghosted. This was an incredibly stressful experience on an important day for our daughter, and I truly hope no other family has to deal with this on their child's birthday (or any event).

The bus was super comfortable and included champagne glasses, ice, and an aux cord to play music. It made our day so much more fun and efficient not having to call Ubers. What you look for in a bus company is to safely and efficiently get passengers from Point A to…read morePoint B. Umbrella Bus barely got our passengers from Point A to Point B, did not do so efficiently, and arguably didn't do it terribly safely. We booked Umbrella for a 54-passenger shuttle to transport wedding guests from our wedding hotel to our ceremony venue, and then from the ceremony venue to the reception venue ($1050 total). I confirmed this itinerary with their staff by email and phone several times (at least three), because they kept sending me invoices that only showed a partial itinerary, but they assured me that they had the correct itinerary written down and would read off the correct itinerary on the phone when I called. On the first trip, the bus driver got the bottom of the bus stuck on a steep hill, rendering it unable to move. Guests had to walk nearly a quarter mile from where the bus got stuck to the ceremony site. The bus was also blocking the entrance to the park where the ceremony was held, meaning that park visitors and several wedding guests who were behind it were severely delayed in getting into the park. We had a couple of guests who missed some of the wedding ceremony because the bus blocked the entrance for so long. It would've been 3.5 stars if only for this, since it wasn't 100% the driver's fault, though he should really have known what the buses he drives are able to handle. On the second trip, though, despite me confirming the destinations in the itinerary with Umbrella MULTIPLE TIMES, the driver had somehow been given the wrong destination by their dispatch, and took guests back to the hotel instead of to the wedding reception venue. My family members had to argue with the driver, who insisted that he'd been told to take everyone back to the hotel, and "I'm only doing two trips, how will people get back to the hotel?" but he eventually relented and took everyone to the reception instead, but meant that most of the guests were delayed by quite a bit in getting to the reception. This definitely wasn't the driver's fault though, and was clearly the fault of the company/dispatch. He did eventually take the guests where they needed to go, which we appreciate.

Motor coaches, mini busses, vans, limousines, they got it all and they do a great job at showing up on time and in professional vehicles. Pros: The driver was on time, polite, and kind. The bus itself was spacious and met our needs as far as setting up bluetooth and playing music. The driver followed our itinerary well and was on time for pick ups and drop offs. Cons: On the way back home, the bus started smoking out of the AC vents - it became overheated in the 100+ degree temperatures. After a full afternoon of wineries and about 20 minutes away from our destination, all 13 women had to evacuate on the side of a country road in the middle of no where. We had to carry all our belongings (ice chests, etc) to a small dirt side road in sweltering 100 degree temperatures. The bus was unable to continue the journey, so we had to call ubers and get relatives/friends to come pick us up and take us the rest of the way. While I understand that things happen, I expected more from Sky 1 Limousine in regards to a refund. They offered to cover the costs of the Uber (there was only 1) and refund us for the final 30 minutes of the booking. That is a meager 1/13th of the total cost - over $2100 - which means we will be refunded just barely more than $100. The bus breaking down really put a damper on a wonderful day. We are lucky we had relatives who were willing and able to come get us, given the heat. If any of the women were especially heat-sensitive or had pre-existing conditions that made being out in the heat/ standing for a long period of time difficult, this could have been a much worse situation. I expected more from Sky 1 Limousine and I am extremely disappointed in the service we received. I would not recommend them to anyone moving forward.

I had one very positive experience with Code 3 transportation; however, our most recent experience,…read morelast week I think certainly warrants a review, especially as school representatives are considering using this company for field trips or school events. We used them to take a group of students to San Francisco last week. First, the driver was late for the initial pick-up. She could not find the location even after being sent a pin, a picture, and verbal directions over the phone. The pick-up location is very easily accessible off a main road. Later at the designated departure time, after the group had been dropped off and done their activity, there was no driver present to collect the students and teachers. I could not connect with anyone from the company- I called dispatch, reservations, sent emails, and finally after multiple calls connected with someone through our driver who apparently was no longer driving. it turned out we had been outsourced to a different company (not C3) and I was told that this company (King's Tours) was not given information about when to pick us up. It was incredibly concerning to not be able to connect with anyone for over 40 minutes to determine who could help me or give me the information I needed; meanwhile, we had a group of students and teachers who were stranded in the city without a ride home. When we did finally connect with someone who could help us, it wasn't even a representative from Code 3, it was an employee from a third company, Quality Assurance Travel! This is the company that ultimately ended up picking up and returning our students safely to campus. I did have a follow-up conversation with Code 3 and was given a 50 percent refund; however, there did not seem to be a clear understanding that not only was this a customer service issue, our students were picked up late and missed an important event at school, but this was also a safety issue. I could not get in touch with anyone from the company for over 40 minutes and students and teachers were left for an hour waiting. I would hope that in the future, a better form of communication can be established and there is greater transparency with transportation. On the phone, I was told Code 3 has its own fleet; however, our group was taken on by two different companies and it still not clear why that happened, especially after booking with Code 3. I don't know that we will utilize their services in the future. While I appreciated the refund and did have a positive experience the week prior, after our trip last weekI still have some questions left unanswered about their commitment to safety and integrity of service.
