The creamy eggs are TDF! Oh, room for dessert? Be sure to order the warm strawberry cobbler - amazing! Weekend brunch is served 10am-2pm, and HH is Monday - Friday 2pm - 5pm. If you do make it to their HH, be sure to try the Italian spring rolls - delish! I tried the Asian almond crusted white fish and it is delectable - perfectly prepared, moist, and tender. Great food and excellent service. The short ribs are the best we have ever had! I could eat that every night for years!!! My wife was in a wheel chair and they were very accommodating for us and even moved us after trying to an inside table. We sat out side and the gave us blankets and moved a heater near us. We came to this place with coworkers to celebrate a successful launch of a project we were working on. When I walked in the restaurant on Tuesday at noon, the restaurant was packed and people were lined up to get seated. I waited in line for about 10 min before I asked them if they had a private dining group for our team. He proceeded to lead me to the back of the restaurant where they had an outdoor seating area; I wish there was a sign or clear direction but it wasn't a big deal. We ordered a couple of appetizers ; wings, steak bites, cauliflower bites, spinach and artichoke dip. I loved the wing and the steak but the others weren't really that great in my opinion. However some of my coworkers enjoyed it and even took it to go. I had a blackened salmon burger which was ok, I have had better ones but I guess my expectation was high going into the restaurant. The service was ok, they could've done better with serving us water and checking up once in a while but I understand there were about 20 of us so it might have been challenging. The ambiance was good inside the restaurant but since were seated outside I can't really comment on that as all we heard was the sound of the wind tilting the tent left and right. Parking was also a challenge as you will not find a street parking unless you circle around the block for a min of ten minutes. I had to park in the upper area of the Bellevue park playground area and walk to the restaurant. Overall, i feel like I didn't really enjoy it as much as I would if I sat inside with my wife. So I will give it a 3.5-4 stars and will come back and give it another shot with my wife at a later time. read more

Came here shortly after they opened for the day. Got the cauliflower and an impossible burger. The Cauliflower batter was too thin and the sauce was well...I did not care for it, tasted like it was out of a bottle and overly processed. Was not good. The impossible burger was cooked good but the patty was very thin for the upcharge. I asked for catsup and mustard but they forgot it. The cheese was nothing special, looked like cheap oily cheddar. Our waitress was not very attentive, she was very very nice but she never came back to give us more water or another beer. I felt it was way overpriced. Ate lunch here today with my friend, we sat in the back of the restaurant, outside under a closed tent. The seating was perfect, very spacious and lots of tables. We were greeted with smiling faces and good attitudes. The staff was accommodating, we had 2 toddlers in strollers and had plenty of space where we were seated which is always a plus with kids! They were decently busy, but service was very attentive. Unfortunately, the food was sub par. I ordered the blackened salmon which came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The asparagus was not seasoned at all, tasted bland and the salmon was nothing special. The highlight of the meal was the appetizer we shared, Buffalo cauliflower bites- so yummy. I have been to 520 Bar and Grill many times. The wings, in my opinion, are the best wings anywhere. We came today for Easter Sunday lunch with the family and although the grill was broken, and the choices were limited, we were able to find some entrees that we thought we would enjoy. We were wrong. Thankfully we ordered the wings to start which were, as usual, amazing. 3 of us then ordered the crab cakes with bernaise sauce, eggs and potatoes. The eggs were overcooked, the food lacked basic seasoning and I am not sure how they made the bernaise but it was like no bernaise sauce I have ever tasted. Almost like a mayonnaise consistency but without the lemon or vinegar. Truly terrible. My daughter had the chicken caesar salad and since the lettuce was tired and starting to brown at the edges. And of course the food wasn't inexpensive. We were all highly disappointed. Despite this review, we will go back to 520 at some point. Whilst we won't eat there again on a holiday or other special day, we do think it's still a good choice for happy hour drinks and an app (the wings!!!) read more

I had like a chicken and mandarin salad. I'd give the food four out of five stars. And the waiters were pretty. I don't know if that deserves any additional mention." As for me, I had a good time. It was an upscale sports bar with plenty of TVs. We sat inside at a booth but there were options at the bar, at tables, and plenty of seating outside as well. I ordered the steak salad with the steak medium. The salad was nicely tossed with just the right amount of ranch, and jammed with goodies (cheese, tortilla strips, diced tomatoes). The one thing I did appreciate about this place is that they don't give you those outrageously huge portions that absolutely no one should be eating (they do, however, charge the same). The tropical mimosa that I had with brunch was quite lovely, I'd definitely have a few more of those! Service is kinda meh. Both times it was very hard to flag someone down with long periods of time with not seeing anyone. I wouldn't recommend going here if you have places to be and if you're going to want a second drink you've gotta figure it out about half way through the first one and ask for it lest you sit there empty for a long time. This was a great pick for a Sunday brunch! The location is perfect, and there was plenty of parking. I immediately felt welcome ad we stepped through the doors. It was a comforting warmth from the cold outside. The furniture was all made of dark wood, giving it an intimate feel. There were quite a few people there already, but not overly crowded. The seating though was pretty cramped together, but we didn't mind. It is however not ADA accessible by any means, so wheelchairs and walkers have a pretty difficult time getting through the narrow walk ways. Otherwise, the atmosphere of the place was really nice. Our server was very pleasant and kind. They accidentally had a salt rim on my Spanish Coffee (supposed to be sugar) but I didn't fuss. I let them know so they didn't make the error on someone else's drink. Our server offered to get me something else on her. I didn't take her up on it. It wasn't that big a deal to me. Our food was really good. I had the breakfast burrito, my sister had the French toast, and at the end we split a bread pudding. The French toast was really light and tasty. They use croissants to make them. My burrito could have used a tad more seasoning, but other than thay it was nice! All the people seemed to enjoy working there. I noticed they were going to close the restaurant early so they could have a party for the employees. I thought that was really sweet. After visiting for lunch, a couple of times we decided to have our friends baby shower party at 520. The truth is that was the best choice ever. We had 15 guests that had a wonderful time! The food and drinks were amazing (as always of course) and the service was beyond excellent. I live in Bellevue and love the restaurants in old Bellevue. This is one I enjoy coming to once in a while. Last weekend I came for brunch. Even though it was Father's Day we were able to get seated without a wait. I ordered the French toast and it was really good. I also got a side of bacon. I just wished they had atleast some basic coffee drink options like a latte (half coffee half milk) but all they had was a black coffee. Every time I come here the wait staff comes off really uppity, as if they're doing the guest a favor. Call in advance for reservations. They have outside seating that is quite wonderful during the summer months. I have experienced they do not always honor reservations esp when requesting outdoor dining. So Fun! I visited the 520 about (yikes!) three years ago (which was great) but for whatever reason (none of their making) I have not wandered back until this week (of which I have been there twice more now, in fact!). I will blame COVID because, at the end of the day, aren't we all entitled to blame COVID for at least a few things, just on principle, at least? That being said...the 520 was delightful! Yes, it is a bit noisy but after this past year wouldn't you agree "happy-noisy" is a pretty good thing? The service is also pretty darn good, especially with how tough it is to find servers! Note to those who have not ventured out much, "man-up" and tip well. It won't kill you. Back to my visits! The crab cakes are AMAZING! One of my guests loved the hummus plate! She was terribly concerned the hummus would be overly spicy because it was a lovely shade of salmon, please note, the Hummus WAS NOT SPICY (those were her words, too). The steak bites were, according to another guest, "tres cool" which is a pretty cosmopolitan statement coming from them... And, yes, oh my gosh! While I seriously hate the masks...don't go there...I am fully vaccinated and have made a promise not to lick anyone I don't know...well...it still does make me a bit "twitchy-tailed" as my daughter says (referencing our cat, Gus-Gus, who does, in fact, become "twitchy-tailed" on occasion...but I digress..) I ALSO UNDERSTAND THIS IS NOT THE RESTAURANT'S FAULT. Did you know businesses can be fined ridiculous amounts by WA State if their clients do not abide by the rules? The restroom isn't labeled, could be a storage closet. I wasn't sure the lock was engaged, maybe someone would open the door. I had to point out a puddle of liquid on the floor. My husband wanted his eggs over easy instead of scrambled and the waitress said they couldn't do it. Pretty pricey for what you get, and not amazing food. Earls in Bellevue is miles better and more comfortable seating. A plus for some, they didn't ask to see our vaccination cards when we entered as other placed in Bellevue did. read more
