Farine has been my favorite breakfast spot in Bellevue for the past two years, and somehow it never disappoints. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. This time, I ordered the egg croissant with avocado and a side salad. The croissant was buttery, flaky, and perfectly baked, while the filling was fresh and satisfying. I also grabbed one of their ready-made lemonades from the fridge, which was crisp and refreshing. Of course, I couldn't leave without dessert. There was only one piece of pistachio tart left, so I figured that had to mean something--and wow, was I right! It was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Now I understand why it was the last piece. One of my favorite things about Farine is the outdoor seating. Especially when the sun is out, it's such a nice place to sit, relax, and enjoy breakfast or coffee. The only downside is that on beautiful sunny days, finding a table can be a challenge--which says a lot about how popular this place is! What I love most about Farine is the consistency. There's AMPLE seating - both indoors and outdoors. The clientele are a mix of people working (like myself today) or grabbing brunch/lunch together. Although the feeling sitting in is spacious, there is a good amount of ambient noise, likely bouncing off of the cement structure/framing of the building. There are floor to ceiling windows spanning the length of the place, as well as on the sides, adding to the amount of light and airy feel inside. The matcha - I was pleased to taste that they used very good quality matcha powder. The drink was smooth, creamy, and a little sweet from the vanilla syrup. The seafood tartine- I was a little disappointed to see the seafood to toast ratio. I wish they gave twice as much of the seafood mixture. That said, they did give ample toast. It was more than double the width of a normal slice. The texture of the bread was also soft. It was moist and dry at the same time - hard to describe. You could tell they didn't skimp on the butter. It reminded me a little of corn bread, but didn't taste like cornbread at all. There was a hint of sweetness as well. Honestly you could have the toast plain and it was very nice. The staff was very friendly and efficient. My food and drink came out quickly each time. They also move through customers in line pretty quickly. I would absolutely come back to work here again, or just for a cheeky coffee and pastry. Maybe next time with headphones. :) Parking - I just parked at the library and walked the couple blocks over. FYI if you come here on a Saturday for brunch, it will be PACKED. Literally had to stand and wait for an unoccupied table. But it's packed for a reason and worth the wait. I don't normally order teas but their London fog is so good with the lavender flavor. Such a great combination together. My husband and I shared the Farine's breakfast and also my friend ordered the croissant sandwich. We weren't a fan of the smoked salmon so I would skip that next time but I like the ham and bacon. The eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly and we also ordered fries, which were kind of on the salty side. Overall would love to come here again. Really enjoy this energy of this place especially for a weekend brunch on a misty morning. The service is fast and the selection is plentiful from savory, sweet to a robust drinks selection. We had the avocado toast tartine and the smoked salmon tartine. Both were delicious and served with fries and salad. Multi-layered ingredients such as herbed cream cheese on house bread that tastes like 'everything bagel' but soft, to shaved radish, topped with za'atar, and pickled red onions and micro greens. So satiating. The lavender london fog and mocha chocolate drink was perfect pairing and drink for did I say (again), cool mid morning. We wrapped up the brunch with a delicious Belgian brownie. It was soft with super rich chocolate...so good. Plenty of parking in the building with parking code at the register. I would give this place a 4.5 star if there is half a star. read more

Love Farine, just be prepared for wait if you're coming on a weekend. This is an order first, then grab a seat type of spot. Tons of good pastries, but you can't go wrong with any of their meals either. This is a bigger cafe style spot in my opinion, doesn't give diner vibes or anything like that. read more

The line was super long when we went this Saturday morning but it did move fairly faster than I expected. We got the veggie breakfast sandwich, chocolate croissant, and avocado toast. All three were great, and it was a pretty good pricing point as well. The place itself is pretty crowded but cute. There's indoor and outdoor seating. You do have to try and find a seat so I would say have one person standing in line to order and have another person scouting for a table because otherwise it'll take a long time for you to find a place to sit and eat. read more

This place was HOPPING! It was very busy around 11:30 obviously for Labor Day (day of) but the line went fast enough. The staff speak French as well so it was a nice touch. The food was phenomenal!! I have been to the Farine bakery in Redmond and it is very good. I like those ones better because it's bigger and it has more room than the one in Redmond, the service is always good. It's always packed. You see everyone working together as a team. Usually, I always get like a croissant or a baked good, which I usually enjoy and sometimes I'll get myself a hot chocolate or a tea on the side and they are very fast and again they provide amazing customer service. Farine nails the details of a boujee little French cafe, but in a massive space. They are thriving, and pumping out Americano after Americano behind the counter, with what seemed like 5 different espresso machines. The line here can be long, but they are efficient with taking the orders and moving you through. They have a designated pastry-shouter who will ask you what pastries you want from across the room (the case is huge so you can see them from afar), this adds an element of excitement to your morning coffee run. They also have a ton of different coffee options to choose from. Everything from your standard European cafe options, to a cardamom latte. I had the Shakshuka because that seemed like a phenomenal way to get the day started. It was a risky play, but it turned out to be the best decision of my day. They had a nice patio, and since it was a clear-sky summery day, we opted to sit outside rather than inside. It was more of a self-serve sort of place, you order at the counter and then grab your own napkins/silverware/water and find a seat, and they come out with the food when you're done. I ordered a marionberry scone (sweet and tart and buttery and flaky!) and the Farine breakfast plate and fries, not realizing that the plate had potatoes smh. I also should've googled the sausage; I probably won't get that next time, it was grittier than I was hoping for texturally. But the eggs were made the way I wanted them and the potatoes and tomatoes and fries were all tasty. I'm definitely bringing my carb-loving friend here for the Farine basket, she would love having just a literal basket of bread for $12. What a hidden gem! Was in Bellevue and decided to stop and check out a brunch stop. Was a 15 min walk from where we were at. Once we got there is was packed. It was a beautiful day in Bellevue so we sat outside. We order a Chai tea latte, bacon egg croissant sandwich, avocado toast and a side of sausage. The sandwich was amazing. But the avocado toast was the winner. It was comes with chives cream sauce, picked onions, a poached egg (additional) and I opted for a salad on the side! Soo delicious. From the moment we walked in, the smell of freshly baked pastries and brewed coffee filled the air. The staff were warm, efficient, and welcoming, especially Abby, who made sure everything came out perfectly. You can tell everyone here really takes pride in what they serve and how they present it. We ordered quite a few things to share, Avocado Toast Tartine, Smoked Salmon Tartine, Brussels Waffle, Fries, and several pastries including the Cranberry Streusel Croissant, Pumpkin Tart, Hazelnut Milk Chocolate Tart, and the Créme Brulee Cruffin. Every single item was fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. The tartines were generous in portion, the waffle was crisp on the outside and soft inside, and the pastries were just heavenly, flaky, buttery, and not overly sweet. And let's talk about the coffee, absolutely excellent! My picky-eating family really loves this place! When there's no time to make Sunday breakfast/brunch, we order from here instead. It's inexpensive, and there are many great food and drink options. Food was delicious! It wasn't too expensive but it also isn't very cheap. The plating was great and so cute! It's the perfect brunch spot. There's a decent amount of seating. Except we went around 2 and the place was pretty much packed so we got a bar seating type and not a table. There's outside seating too. The drinks were pretty good and refreshing. The pavlova was yummy but got really sweet the longer I kept eating it. The egg Benedict sandwich was good and I loved it. I was still pretty hungry after so it wasn't very filling for me. The French toast was good too! Feels a bit more filling than the egg Benedict but I still love both dishes.
