I had a leak on the side of my house and the soffit paint was peeling back, wasn't sure if it was a roof leak or a gutter leak. 2. That same corner of my house needs to be re-graded so water flows away from the house. 3. A previous homeowner installed gutter guards only on the back portion of the house, which became stuffed with leaves and started causing other problems. 4. After cleaning my gutters, they discovered another leak where a previous owner hammered a nail into the bottom of the gutter, causing a similar problem to the side of the house where my paint was peeling. Their solutions: 1. Where I had the leak, the gutters weren't flush with the house, causing water to leak between the house and the gutter, therefore causing the paint to peel and potential water damage to the wood underneath (although, luckily, the wood wasn't damaged!). They added some screws to make the gutters flush and repainted the area - it looks great! 2. They added gutter extensions to every corner of my house to keep water flowing away from the house. 3. They cleaned and pressure washed my gutters and my roof, then installed steel mesh gutter guards around the entire house so I never have to clean my gutters again! 4. Before they left, they removed the silicone puddy doing a poor job of keeping water out of the nail hole and instead used some other version that sticks to metal. These guys were responsive, communicative, friendly, and did a good job cleaning up. They explained my problems and their solutions very well.
