I was overwhelmed by the size of the bowl at first but ended up finishing it because it was so tasty, but more than that, it was comforting on a cold day. I also did the egg rolls, which were so crispy and almost too hot on my first bite of how fresh they were. I was so glad I finally got a chance to visit, it didn't disappoint!! So whoever was the creative mastermind behind this one, here's a toast to you. My dinner companion had similar thoughts with the taro milk bread. In fact, they loved it so much that they though it was better than the Ozzie Rolls at any GAR (Great American Restaurant). I probably shouldn't compare here... but listen... for those who frequent the Northern Virginia area, everyone knows the Great American Restaurants and their famous Ozzie Rolls. It's hard to beat GAR's bread service as they are like the best warm donuts you could imagine. So double kudos to the creation of this delightful Taro Milk Bread. I was obsessed with dipping it in the seasoned salts with my favorite being the BBH. Now . . . moving on to the main tasting menu. One couple tried to squeeze in a baby stroller into the bar/dining area. Its really not suitable for things like suitcases or strollers so if you're in that camp maybe try some other spots because that also made a tiny space all the more difficult to navigate. Also, if you have a mobility device, this might not be the best spot for you either. I've never used their restrooms before so can't comment on that one. I still will say it is good for when you want to grab and go - so if you're in that category, and you like moderately priced sandwiches (for this part of town) this might work for you.
