Overall a nice little spot for drinks and snacks. The service was pretty casual which seems to be the norm for most Denver spots. All the areas have some heat source available though the ones with fire seem to be most warm. The grilled cheese and butternut soup was pretty great, I just wish the soup had a tad more salt to bring out the flavor. Otherwise it was a great treat for a cold night. I went to the rooftop to go workout at the gym in the hotel. 54thirty is literally right next door. So after working up a sweat I was obviously parched....so I went to the bar... I stood at the bar for 8 minutes (stand in silence for 8 minutes and you'll understand how long that really feels). Not on my phone...just taking in the scene. The bartender was busy with server tickets and I completely understand that. But the was not any sort of acknowledgement, greeting, smile or even eye contact. After 6 minutes the bartender was done and was just standing there talking to another bartender who I believe might've been starting his shift. After 2 minutes I just left! And literally as I took one step back THEN he decides to walk up to see if I needed something. I walked away and just said "NOPE!" I wish I could say the service is awful....but I never received any to know. So if you wanna be ignored....go to 54thirty! There was a little wait to get upstairs since its first come first serve. We had a drink at the downstairs bar of the hotel. When we got upstairs, it was packed! The views were immaculate. I was in Denver visiting a friend, and we decided to check out this bar. Honestly, it was just okay. The service was slow, and it felt a bit overhyped. Having to hold my card just to place an order felt a bit odd. There wasn't really anywhere comfortable to sit, either. The view wasn't anything special -- just other buildings. Great views of the city with a very relaxed atmosphere. A lot of comfy chairs to sit in and great for larger parties (7-8 people). Fire pits and heaters are amazing especially when it's cold. The drinks are very expensive although they are tasty! I spent about $24 on one drink, when I upgraded the whiskey. I feel like this is ridiculously expensive. I've been here multiple times and will keep coming back for the amazing views. Picture this, you stroll through the hotel entrance around a quick corner and are greeted by a small cart with a big smile from the hostess. We were lucky the bar was not too crowded (understatement). As the hostess, walks you to the elevator and use their straight to the roof access card, you might be in anticipation of the reviews on the rooftop view which are well warranted. Once you leave the elevators and follow the narrow corridor around to the left it opens up with fresh air and party vibes. The fun begins when trying to find a seat to enjoy the views and drinks. I wish it was more like Europe with community seating because there are a few places that could accomodate 6 to 8 people, but a few patrons preferred to have space to do their IG poses. If you head to the balcony facing the mountains there is enough space for about 15 people and provides you not only a beautiful view of the mountains, but also prime location to procure open seating as it becomes available. If you arrive towards the evening time bring a jacket because after the sun starts to set behind the mountains, the temperature drops and gets a bit breezy. The drinks are strong and well made. Shout out to the bar staff, I left my tab open and forgot my credit card. Once I realized this an hour later, headed back to the spot approached the bar and we all had a chuckle. Kudos! read more

ASG did their homework before heading out to Denver and chose to stay at Le Méridien hotel, conveniently located within walking distance to key attractions like the holiday Christkindl Market and the Denver Art Museum. And, they host the 54 Thirty rooftop bar, offering stunning views of the city. What better way to experience Denver than from above? Despite the chilly weather during our visit, 54 Thirty remained open, as long as the conditions weren't too harsh. If you find yourself braving the cold, we highly recommend sitting near the bar and the heat lamps--or, like us, close to one of the fireplaces. We kicked off our evening with a Boozy Hot Chocolate (featuring Mezcal), Korean BBQ Chips with Gochujang Onion Dip, and Lamb Meatball Sliders. There was also a special that night: Salmon Poke Lettuce Wraps, which we couldn't resist. The Hot Chocolate was a handful and packed quite a punch of Mezcal. The Korean BBQ Chips were lightly seasoned but freshly prepared, perfectly complementing the tangy Gochujang dip. Fresh chips are a must-order for us, anytime they're on the menu. The Lamb Sliders stole the show--they were everything we expected, and more. The whipped burrata, tomato sauce, and microgreens added a delightful Asian flair to the dish. Lamb on a Hawaiian roll is always a win, and the sliders were the ideal size for our appetites. The Poke Lettuce Wraps, while decent, could have used a bit more salt and sweetness. Facing west-south, the bar offers a unique perspective of the city. We made sure to arrive early to catch the sunset, and the Denver sky did not disappoint. 54 Thirty is a fantastic spot to kick off any trip, and its vantage point allows you to get a lay of the land and plan your adventures. We highly recommend making reservations or at least calling ahead, as the bar often hosts private parties that can close down the entire facility for the night. Came here for a birthday party on a Saturday a few weeks ago. I ubered because I was drinking anyway, but also the parking situation seemed sketchy. They do have valet for about 10$ I think which isn't bad. But about the same as an uber if you live close by. We had reservations so there was no wait, although it was for 8 people and it was made months ago...they still ended up separating the 2 tables which was kind of awkward. The views are amazing! Got to see a great view of Denver while enjoying a nice evening. I got a few glasses of the rose, and the seabass for food. The amount of food on the plate was not a lot, but I know it's supposed to be a tapas place. What was on the place was delicious, the sea bass was flaky and tender. Was nice with the greens on top. But I was still hungry after and the prices are kind of high, so if you want to leave this place full expect to pay a lot. The outside patio is where you really want to be, went there after for some pictures, you can really see the outline of the city and the moon. My friend and I had just flew in from California and we decided to go check this place out. We walked in went to the little cart they have set up for the roof top and spoke with the lady she advised us there was no room and we could wait until someone left to go up so we sat outside the restaurant which is right next to the cart, waiting and another couple walked up and she took them right up no reservation as we were within ear shot of the conversation. We thought that was strange so we continued to wait, a gentleman walked up and once again she took him up. So at this point it's pretty clear they just didn't want us up there for whatever reason we aren't sure so we left. Very disappointed and sad to see as we felt judged maybe by our appearance or the fact I have tattoos all over not sure it's all speculation but the fact was they didn't want us up there. If you are looking for this place, start by walking into the lobby of the Le' Meridian Hotel and find the hostess stand to your left. Upon arrival, place yourself on the wait list, and they text you when space us available, normally 5-10 mins or 45 mins when busy. When you are buzzed, you are led to elevators to take you to the rooftop. Upon leaving the elevator, you come upon a huge bar with plenty of really good & fast bartenders. There is plenty of seating. As you walk to the back, it is full of open-air seating spaces with beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. There is a nice cocktail & small bites menu to choose from. Ww ended up trying a couple of their cocktails but shaped the tequila for mezcal in them instead. We also tried about 4/5 food items, and all were truly good. One of the best parts of our evening was the sunset. You get some of the best 180° views of the Rocky Mountains as the sun is going down. So cool views, cocktails, and small bites are what to fully enjoy and you will have at this rooftop bar. It's first come, first serve yet one of the tables had a reserved sign on it when we arrived so don't know how that works. The staff was friendly but not the most attentive and seemed to be a little overwhelmed by the number of customers. Although our food arrived a bit cold, I throughly enjoyed the short rib tacos, the elote dip, and my summer crush cocktail. It's just apps, so I wouldn't recommend going too hungry. There's a seating area and a check in counter and a restaurant and a seemingly busy entry - and then someone tells you to stand over "there" for the bar. We make our way to the hostesses who take our names and inform of us the 45 min wait. We walked around the town - no complaints over here. When it was our time we promptly hoped on the elevator that took us to the bar. It was pretty crowded and we immediately knew we were going to have a hard time finding seats. Nonetheless we ordered our drinks. I had the aperol spritz, not memorable but still tasty! There was food being passed around and people sort of waiting on you. The staff was so nice and we're great at their job. However, I wished they had sat you at an area upon entrance. Especially because it feels so much like an almost restaurant, the fact that you have to poke around for seating felt a bit odd. All in all, a nice place for a drink with a view.
