The bomb rice empanadas were good but a little too greasy for my hubby and I. But, I took home the leftovers and the next day put them in my air fryer and then on a paper towel to pat out some of the oil and they were much better tasting and super crispy on the outside. The bomb rice inside was very flavorful. Hubby tried their Tropical Passion Fruit juice they had and it was ok he said. He was not a fan of that one. We both loved the arepas and even went back and purchased more. Also, tried the lime wafer cookie which was flavorful crunchy and too sweet. Cashier was friendly and the area was clean. However, they do take a long time to make the arepas. Was told about 10 minutes and it took much longer than that. Be prepared to wait and they do use a text message system to notify you when your order is ready. We will definitely be back for more arepas and to try some of the other things they offer. read more

I spotted a sandwich board sign for +57 at the entrance of Rodeo and saw they sold arepas. Instantly sold! I ordered the arepa combo. It fit exactly what I was looking for -- a quick bite that wasn't too heavy, but still satisfying. The service was nice and friendly, and the food came out relatively fast. The arepa was the perfect cheese to dough ratio, and it had a nice crispy outside. The eggs were nice and fluffy too. Quite surprised that there is something none Asian food here isn't the Rodeo 39 Staton. Was in Columbia recently and missed their foods so gave it a try. Nice and clean with direct and easy menu to choose from. Staff is friendly and helpful with the choices. Prices wise are not bad at all. Was seating nearby in the community seating area therefore they brought the foods to us. Got the Caserito Pork Loin Bowl and 3 types of empanadas (original, bomb, and ranchera). It was good size of the portion and packed with great favor and with all great fillings. It reminded me abit of the bakery in Columbia that sell empanadas, but here it served hot instead of room temperature. Overall it was great foods with great service. read more

Great to see them inside Rodeo 39. It used to be a warehouse locker pick up station. Love to see the customers flooding this hidden gem. Service was awesome! Empanadas and arepas again! Service was great.... The girl was helpful and friendly. The food however, I was a little disappointed in. I actually did not get what I ordered but by the time I figured it out, most of my chicken was gone. I ordered the chicken bowl with beans but got the chicken and pork combo with lentils. I recently tried +57 Columbian Cuisine's chicken empanadas. There are various regional interpretations of empanadas. The thing that I noticed about the empanadas here was that they are well formed. Each of the empanadas received had a uniform shape and look. The crust was also somewhat thin compared to others I have eaten. The product was deep fried; the crust was hot and crispy. The filling (shredded chicken) was appropriate. I ordered the empanadas because I was looking for something I could eat while driving. However, they have plated meals. Ohhhhhhh, I really wanted to love this place... I love trying new restaurants and I love food hopping at food halls, so trying this place was a must. The girl working said the pollo bowl with beans was one of their best, so I got it with 2 aji green sauces (which costs extra, was not spicy at all, and very watered down). Stumbled upon this +57 Colombian Cuisine when checking out Rodeo 39. This place was a happening spot so it caught our attention. When we had gone, it happened to be on their opening weekend. With that being said - service was on the slower side because they were so busy. Give them grace - they're trying. We had no problem waiting for our food - we just walked around and looked at the other booths. It wasn't a big deal and honestly, so worth the wait! As for the food - The arepas were yummy - they were cheesy and just cooked to perfection. The chicken bowl was standard, I'm glad I tried it but I wouldn't get it again. You know what I would get again? The empanadas. Wow, my husband and I were both blown away by the flavor. They were cooked to perfection, had a decent amount of filling and the sauces? So good! We'd never had a sweet empanada and paired with the pineapple sauce? Amazing! The woman who owns this place apparently also makes the food and everything from scratch and you can definitely taste the difference. If we weren't so out of the way, we'd probably be here constantly. read more

At the Rodeo 39 marketplace - this place is in the front corner and so wonderful. I had a bowl of chicken, beans, rice, avocado, egg, plantains, and it was incredible! I'm stuffed and happy. Atrociously bad. Paid $12 for a "chori-arepa" that was a pathetically small, mediocre cheese arepa and a tiny, dry, bland, overcooked chorizo sausage. I was really, really disappointed with this one. When I came on a busy Saturday night, there was hardly anyone there. I've been wanting to try the new place so I decided to get take out there. The girl that helped me couldn't even expound on what I can order so I went ahead and ordered the chicharron plate that had a delicious looking picture with big crunchy looking chicharron and it was not like what was pictured at all... plate I got had soggy small pork belly pieces with no crunch at all.... The flavor was there, but it was just really disappointing. They also didn't offer any sauces and when I asked when I picked up my order, they charged me .75$ by itself cause I had already paid. Being in PR, building relationships with the community while starting out is so important, as well as being exciting and knowledgeable on your product. These little things add up to customer satisfaction and retention and they kinda failed on both.... Super disappointed that this was my Saturday dinner, I could have had something else from Rodeo 39 that probably would have been better read more
