When we first entered the restaurant was empty with no staff in sight. After waiting a few minutes the server did come out to seat us and he was friendly. The timing of service was a little weird because another table was seated after us but had their order taken and was served before us. Perhaps it was because they were regulars? Service is definitely a bit slow, but I believe they do have a disclaimer on their menu in regard to that. Would definitely recommend the empanadas and the bistec a caballo. I think it's hard to find Colombian empanadas in the area and I would personally come back just to order a bunch of empanadas!

One of the best Colombian restaurants. My bf is from Colombia and he says this is the only place he says tastes just like home. Each time he's feeling homesick we are here. We have tried most items on the menu and are never disappointed. Service is always great and the portions are great as well. We always feel like family. Our favorites are the ajiaco (only served Fridays), beef empanadas with ají, arepo con queso, yuca, bandeja paisa, & picada. Don't even get us started on the drink selection. Their juices, smoothies, and Colombian drink selection is top tier! Definitely would recommend this to anyone who is craving Colombian food or just want to try something new.

First time trying Colombian food and was not disappointed. We ordered Colombian's, a soft drink that seems to taste like a very light cherry coke. Than we had their beef empanadas which were served freshly fried and chock full of shredded beef tasting a little like corned beef. We also ordered the patacon con to do which is a bed of thin fried smashed green plantains super chewy layered with sausage, grilled slices of chicken breast and chunks of deep fried pork belly with skin then topped with shredded lettuce, diced tomato and 2 hunks of avocado. This plate is about $24 but big enough for two people. We left satisfied and full. The place is busy so either come early or be prepared to wait about 15 to 20 minutes. Parking is a private lot but very full. So you can try parking in the nearby streets.

Drove by and wants to try something different for dinner tonight. Small place but cozy and very friendly folks. We order 2 dishes since it's HUGE for 3 people and still have left over for tomorrow 2 lunches. We noticed that majority are fried foods (especially fried pork belly since 95% tablespoons ordered) and with beans and fried banana. All very well seasoned and tasty. Just abit hard to chew the fried pork belly (especially when you have braces). We want to try desserts but we're stuffed. Will have to come back another day to try it with other non fried dishes.

Service is not very welcoming and there is obviously preference to regulars.Waited a long time just to be asked for drinks and and waited for water that never came.Food is good the only thing missing was spice but I understand that there wasn't a spicy sauce.

It's so huge servings

This place in the little strip area is a hidden gem. It's the only Colombian restaurant in my area, and it packs a punch with its flavors. From their lengua plate all the way to the bandeja paisa you can't really go wrong. The empanadas are so good with the aji that it comes with and the arepas are just amazing. You can sit and enjoy your Colombiana soda and Listen to the bachata and salsa playing while you wait . This place does get busy around lunch time and service could be a little on the slow side but it seems they make everything to order so be prepared to wait a little bit. They changed their decor and it's more Encanto stylish now, which is nice to eye but their dishes are what really shine. Love this place, it is a go to for the family when they come visit.

Craving some Colombian food and with few options in this area, this is a pretty good place. The Jugos are amazing with my favorite being the Jugo de guanábana. I get it with milk and it's pretty sweet almost like a piña colada. If you have never tried it go for it! However all of the natural juices here are pretty excellent. The empanadas are fresh and came out piping hot! I love how the empanadas are fried and not the baked kind that you will typically see in Argentina, although those are delicious as well, these just seem to have more flavor and less breading to me. Their ají is on the spicy side and pair well with the empanadas. The chorizo was dry but still delicious and the chicharrón was perfect. We shared a ajiaco soup which they do on Fridays. This is a typical dish from Colombia and perfect on a colder day. It's basically a chicken and potato soup made with some seasoning called Guascas. It was a smaller portion than I expected and in my opinion was missing the best part which was sour crème to make it a little thicker and topped with capers. To each their own but without it, the soup just felt lacking. Overall the food here is very good. I would just get a few things here and share. It's on the pricy side but to be expected. There is definitely something you will find that you like. The service is great and they are very friendly. It's a small place but they seem to be growing and increasing the size. They also sale Colombian candies and desserts and those are all amazing. This is a fun place to eat at especially if you've never tried Colombian food and are curious or if you just miss The homeland.

This place is always a quaint little spot to go to when over in this area. Food is the right portion size! Enough to eat with a little room left over for dessert if you want some. Service is great for this spot, having nice people there serving and greeting you. they have a little marketplace there as well to buy little Colombian D'licious goodness to take home...

Bistec de caballo

Bistec de caballo: The sauce had a great flavor to it. My only complaint is that the piece of meat I got was so fat and chewy, I had to spit out more than half of it bc I just couldn't chew it thoroughly :( Empanadas: Super tasty served wjth a delicious sauce

HOW THEY FIX MISTAKES AND MADE THINGS RIGHT…read more I eat here from time to time and the food is excellent as well as the customer service which is second to none. I ordered the garlic chicken to go. However, when I got to work I realized they accidently have me two boxes of rice and and beans. I gave them a call, told them about it, and it was no big deal. I totally understand the lunch rush and all the boxes look the same. We're all human. This isn't the zombie apocalypse. I'll survive . That being said it was it was really how well they handled the situation. I returned there after work and we had a good laugh about it. Not only did they gave me the full correct order but also realized I like that lemony flavor of Cuba, but they also have a me a really nice dinner to go for me evening. And yes the lemony pork was absolutely delicious. There was no hesitation, no dispute, just all smiles acne appreciation from both of us. So to sum it up it really wasn't the mistake. It was HOW THEY MAKE YOU FEEL and how they take care of you as a customer. a now loyal custom for years to come.

I have not visited this center all that often. I never really noticed this Cuban restaurant before. Fortunately, my co-worker requested to go to a Cuban restaurant for her birthday lunch. It's a medium size restaurant with plenty of tables. There's outdated hodgepodge decor, but that's not a big deal. The portions here are great for the lunch specials. Our meals started off with buttery slices of baked garlic toast. Lunch also included a bowl of black beans in a flavorful broth and huge portion of white rice. Plantains also come with our lunch entree. I was debating between the classic shredded beef or classic pork. Since I've had shredded beef at another Cuban restaurant years ago, I opted for the pork. This dish also came with a lot of onions and I didn't care for these since I was going to be in the office the rest of the day. It would be nice to be able to substitute with a small side salad instead. Note, your protein selection is the most important choice for your overall experience at Bella Cuba. I tasted my coworkers, shredded beef and I enjoyed that bite more than my own dish, the pork. I enjoyed the tender pork in the beginning, but after a few bites, the sourness or acidity of the seasoning was overwhelming. That wasn't for me. I wish I would've chosen the shredded beef or possibly another protein. I think I would've been better off choosing the quarter chicken or even the calamari steak. I will return with my family for other entrees next time!

After eating at several Argentinian restaurants recently, I've been on a chimichurri kick. I have…read moretried chimichurri sauces from Whole Foods and Trader Joe's but they aren't really very authentic. A friend recommended seeing what El Gaucho might have, so I visited the next day. The market is easy to spot with a big street sign out front. There are only two parking spots in front, one is a handicapped space. There's plenty of parking around the back though. When you walk in, you will see the main market with lots of items and brands I've never seen before. Slightly to the right is their deli counter with lots of meats, cheeses, and other miscellaneous items. To the right of the entrance is a dining area, and another counter where you can order sandwiches, empanadas, pizza, French fries, and drinks. I was laser focused on getting the chimichurri and leaving since I was short on time. It is in plastic bottles in plain view on on top of the deli counter. I purchased the regular variety, but they also have a spicy version. I could already tell this was going to be way better than the other two sauces I tried. I've had it on a steak, and on my breakfast scrambled eggs, and it's in a whole different league from the grocery versions I tried. It looks just like a restaurant chimichurri, oil based with lots of herbs and spices. I just had a nice filet mignon with chimichurri at a good Argentinan restaurant last week, and this chimichurri is about 90% as good. I moved it from the plastic bottle it comes in to a glass jar which will hopefully help preserve it longer, and store it in the refrigerator. I now have no reason to look elsewhere for chimichurri. My friend visits here periodically and says the sandwiches are excellent. I'll have to return again to try one, get more chimichurri, and explore the market and deli to see what other goodies they have.

The restaurant has plenty of seating and a good view of the outside shopping centers. It has a nice vibe especially if you're doing a dinner and they have a nice cultural influence. Service was amazing, the host was checking in often and the food came out in good time. The food overall was decent. Honestly I've had Peruvian food with more flavor profiles and payed a little less, the chicken was a little dry and did not have that Peruvian, you usually get some good spices and citrus with Peruvian food and it felt closer to fajitas with French fries. The yuca fries were actually done really well but came with no sauce or dip and the empanadas were good but fell apart t very quickly. The filling was good and there was a whole green olive inside that had more flavor than the meats. I would have chopped up the green olive, and integrated it more. Lastly the fried rice was pretty good to be honest ... I think that was the best thing I had while there but it did need some of that spicy kick. Overall I would return to Inka but it will not be my first choice for Peruvian food.
