I called the restaurant and a super nice girl answered the phone and answered all the questions I had about what can be made gluten free. She was really informative and helpful! I went with the buffalo chicken calzone with their grilled chicken and blue cheese. The fries here are not gluten free as they have a light batter on them. So I just stuck with an entree. I went to pick up the order and lucked out with some street parking right out front. Pick up was super quick and friendly! The dough is fantastic and didn't fall apart at all, I was really impressed! I had one of the most unpleasant and unprofessional experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. The owner was extremely rude and verbally abusive toward me for absolutely no reason. When I arrived to pick up an order, he immediately began accusing me of not confirming it, even though I showed him my device clearly displaying that everything was confirmed on my end. His system was clearly lagging, but instead of handling the situation calmly or respectfully, he completely lost his temper. To make matters worse, he ripped the food out of my hand in front of others, which was not only embarrassing but completely unacceptable behavior for someone running a business. There was absolutely no excuse for that kind of aggression. I remained calm and tried to explain, but he continued to raise his voice and be disrespectful. This kind of treatment toward customers or delivery drivers is inexcusable. It shows a complete lack of professionalism and basic respect. If this is how the owner behaves, I can only imagine what kind of work environment or service standards exist here. To make things even more concerning, it seems the business tries to bury real reviews by posting or encouraging fake positive ones, which makes it hard for people to see what actually goes on. A truly good business doesn't need to hide behind fake praise -- it earns real ones through decent treatment and honest service. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant altogether. It is a good spot...I got the Chicken Broccoli Ziti - Chicken was good quality, sauce great, garlic bread a great addition to the meal. Let's be honest. From the outside, Pizza Market doesn't look like much. When you walk inside, it still doesn't look like much. But when you look at their big menu and sample some of their dishes, you'll agree with the lyrics of that old blues song -"You can't judge a book by looking at the cover." We've had a few grinders and salads here over the last year and have found their food to be solid. Not the greatest ever (I've seen grinders with more meat) and not the worst (I've seen grinders with less meat). But overall, their food is solid and priced right. We ordered a toasted ham & turkey grinder ($6.50 for a small and $7.50 for a large) and a Chef Salad. Can't say there was a thing wrong with the grinder- the roll was fresh, the meats were fresh, and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. Could I quibble about the portion size? Maybe. Could I quibble about the price? Nope. The Chef Salad ($7.25) was pretty darned good on all fronts -price, salad quantity and freshness, and ham, turkey, roast beef, and provolone quantity and freshness. Having a half loaf of fresh pita bread thrown in was a nice touch. Oh and one more thing, the guy behind the counter, and most likely the guy doing the cooking is super nice. Pizza Market has terrible customer service and I have never felt so disrespected picking up pizza. They are racist and discriminates against Asians. Whether it is unconscious bias or outright discrimination, I shouldn't have to feel this way ordering a pizza for my children in my own neighborhood. Mediocre pizza aside, I purposely would go to Pizza Market to support it as a local business. But I can not stay silent as they blatantly treat me like a second class citizen. I ordered and paid for pizza online to pick up, and when I told the older bald man the name from the beginning, he was acting annoyed and rude saying he didn't understand me. I told him the first and last name repeatedly and he refuses to listen. I tell him what the exact order was and he still refuses to listen and yells at me " How am I supposed to believe you ordered a pizza!" He then bypassing me, and goes to the caucasian woman behind me and asks for the name. She states her name and without any other questions he gives her the pizza. She obviously paid online and ordered in the same way but there was no other questions or doubt. I would have left at that point, but I already paid for my pizza online. I had to call my wife to get a screen shot of the order number and showed it to the man. He hardly looks at it, and literally slams the pizza onto the fridge. I ask him in a calm voice "Why are you treating me this way. I am just here to pick up a pizza" and he starts yelling at me and starts throwing things around in the kitchen. The guy next to him was trying to coax him to calm him down. I couldn't believe how terrible I was being treated. I give people the benefit of the doubt, but this was such a blatant act of disrespect because I was Asian and English is not my first language I can't help but to write this review. I ordered here for the first time. It was just a mockery. They touch the phone and then handle the food, they don't even wash their hands. I ordered a wrap with extra meat,and pay for it extra but when I opened it there was not a single piece of meat even.I went back to ask them to add meat, not even for remake. They took me another 10-15 minutes and smilingly returned the wrap to me that they added meat, but when I opened it they returned the same wrap to me nothing inside. What a disrespectful attitude. Pizza market is great pizza. Good however, I would not recommend going for a slice. The value is not to my standard. However, the pizza is quite the vine and exactly what you'd like for a papa John style pizza. The place is empty so I recommend taking a seat and a load off well watching some cheesy TV. This place looks like a hole in the wall and I've driven by so many times without ever trying their food. That was my mistake - don't judge this book by its cover. Their calzones are AMAZING. Not greasy or soggy like some other places. I got the spinach & feta calzone and it was one of the best I've ever had. My husband also enjoyed his chicken parm calzone. The small calzones are enough food for one meal, but you better believe I'll be getting a large next time so I've got leftovers for the next day. Received a flyer at work. Reviewed the menu and was amazed at the variety of foods offered. Wife and I ordered and it was really good food. The surprise was the owner actually delivered our food. He said we weren't in their system, thus 1st time ordering, so he wanted to make the delivery. We have NEVER had a owner deliver to us. The cheese pizza is just boring, and somehow contradicts the one essential law of pizza -- that there's no such thing as bad pizza. There is, and this is it. I would say that pizza market is perfectly acceptable. The crust is not typical but it's not bad either. It's a little bit more on the buttery side if that makes sense; kind of a cross between a south shore bar pizza crust and a traditional crust. Unfortunately we ordered delivery from here before checking reviews. When we ordered we were told our food would arrive in 40 minutes. Because we ordered from a hotel my husband had to meet the driver in the lobby. An hour and a half later an apologetic and obviously over worked delivery driver showed up with our order. We dove into the bag of food a little after 8:00 (my boys were as frustrated as my husband and I. We find a salad missing, cold steak and cheese dry and missing the mushrooms and mayo ordered with it, a turkey club with cheap turkey, no lettuce tomato or mayo, cold mushy fries, and a cheeseburger that resembles what you'd pay a couple bucks for at a tee-ball concession stand. Needless to say this was not a good experience for any of us..It's one thing that it took so much longer than expected but after all that to not have the whole order and our order to be wrong.... we aren't from here so wouldn't be regular repeat customers any way but I would recommend looking elsewhere for delivery. read more

Had a Chicken Parm sub. The chicken they use looks and tastes like something you'd get out of a frozen food section at your local grocery store. We love this place. It takes us 30 seconds to walk here and the food is consistent. We usually just get a plain cheese pizza but have tried their wings, burgers, and calzones. The food is plain but good. I can appreciate their large chip and drink selections. I think people need to adjust their expectations when eating here. So my boyfriend and i ordered a Gyro dinner plate and a steak and cheese. The gyro dinner came with a side salad that was swimming in dressing to the point it wasn't edible. The rice that came with the dinner was so dry and hard it had to be several days old. The meat was gross as it was covered what seemed to be sour cream and shredded wilted lettuce. Point being, i was not going to eat it. So we tried to bring it back and get my money back as i had not touched more that two bites of it. But i was not given anything back and not even offered a substitute. Bad food, bad customer service... I would NOT recommend this to anyone! read more
