This is my FAVORITE local bagel shop. They're open until 2pm and my favorite order is the Lox Bagel! The order comes with a side so you can choose between chips or a pasta salad. And then they also have boba milk tea drinks!!!!! Honestly have never had a bad experience here. There is always plenty of parking so it's easy to pick up an order in a matter of minutes. Their boba drink is a huge serving which usually takes long for me to finish. I've been coming to this bagel spot for years, today I came back for the first this year and I'm disappointed. The bagels feel dense, not like a fluffy toasted fresh baked bagel I'm used to. I purchased the salmon sando and a regular cheese bagel. Unfortunately I will drive to OC for my bagels. Went in on a Saturday and spent $60 on some bagels and cream cheese. When I got home, the strawberry cream cheese was rancid. I went back on Monday to try and exchange for a different flavor (not get my money back) and was greeted by the rudest person I've ever met. She denied my request, told me the cream cheese is only good for one day, and why didn't I call or come right back in. I explained that I have a job and a life but to no avail. When I asked for the owner's name, she gave me a name then later changed her story and said she was the owner. I said to her: "Is this the way you treat a customer and do you realize you're losing one over a $5 container of cream cheese that costs you $.50? She said she didn't care and I walked out. 4th time here This time I got #1, Fifth Avenue, with a sourdough bagel. Also comes with lox, cream cheese, tomato, red onion, and dill pickle. My friend recommended this to me and it was really good! So far every sandwich, except the breakfast one, is really good. I can't decide which one is my favorite. Seems like service is hit or miss. The guy that helped me was good. Greeted me and told me to have a great day. The girl I see everytime I'm there was taking an order and her customer service needs more tweaking. Her communication is in bullet form with no greeting at all. Even though she wasn't helping me it made the experience awkward. It feels like she brings her storm clouds to work? Or maybe shes sick? It's ok. Went there on a Saturday morning and was not greeted. Not even a hello. I started asking for 12 different bagels, telling her 2 cranberry, 1 plain, etc and the women who was working didn't understand what I was asking for. I was very confused. There was only 1 other customer, but she was in a rush to get me out. I paid, but before I was even done paying she was already ignoring me and attending the other customer. The best bagels in Corona! Fast and friendly service, the only thing is they close at different times whenever they are open. So I make sure to call before I go in. I called yesterday 02/06/24 at 1:30pm and they said they were closing up. Online it says their hours are til 3:30. Ok, so I go here all the time and the girl with blonde hair has always been rude but I go because my kids love the cranberry bagel there. Today will be the last day I'm going there and the fact that I'm leaving this bad review says a lot... I ordered 4 cranberry bagel and 1 blueberry bagel.. she confirmed it and I waited 15 mins while she yaps away and yell in her language at someone in the kitchen (which not very professional at all) while there's customers waiting. Well, time to pay and she got my order wrong.. and she told me that she'll have to charge me because she already toasted the plain bagels (that I didn't order). I said you're going to make me pay for an order that you got wrong and I didn't order. She kept telling me and forcing it instead of apologizing. I told her I waited this long.. I'm going to get the cranberry bagel (mind me she said she wasn't going to toast it for me) so I paid for it and walked out with 3 non toasted cranberry bagels no cream cheese and no apology.. whoever she is she needs to practice customer service and some professionalism. Overall the food is good. But the service was/is unacceptable. I ordered (Togo) a ham and cheese omelette and a bagel with cream cheese. I was told they don't have/ make ham and cheese omelettes. So I decided to order the second half of my order which was an egg white omelette with a plain bagel. Add butter. Then I said to the employee...how about a #6...which is a ham egg and cheese bagel...I will take that....but never mind the butter on the egg white bagel. She said ok. Then she said they do have a Denver omelette and they could leave off the veggies, but I would have to pay full price as if the veggies were there. At that point I was over the ham and cheese omelette. Food comes out. It's two bagels? I asked if this was everything? She said yes...I asked... is the egg white omelette in the bag? She says yes. I said really... As I start pulling the 2 items out of the bag...she says Sir, you have 2 bagels...one with ham and cheese and one with egg white. I say I ordered 1 bagel and 1 omelette....she said no you didn't...you ordered 2 bagels and turned away as if I wasn't even there. This has happened twice coming here with my wife. We entered the store and waited. My wife ordered, but when I picked my bagel, one of the female workers came out of the back and took the basket of bagels. She told me I couldn't have one. I told her I'm a paying customer, and she ignored me. I asked if she wanted to lose my business. Her reply was "yes". I asked her if it was because I am brown, and her reply was "yes". Came here for the first time last week and been back THREE times since. I absolutely love this place! The bagels are always so fresh. It's cool that on top of having a wide variety of bagels to chose from they also have a huge selection of cream cheeses to match any bagel for any craving! Customer service is also great. Typically when a place is busy the food quality starts lacking, but that's never the case here. It can be slammed and my bagel is always handled with care. Keep up the good work! They truly don't care about their customers in anyway. They will charge different prices then what are on the menu, if you say something they will blow you off and say that's the price. They say they open at 6, that's a sometimes thing. Showed up at 6 once, stood there for 5 minutes only to be told, 20 more minutes. I could go on and on. First time trying this place out. I've lived here for about a year now and never went in. I googled the menu Yelp and found exactly what i needed. The only thing i did not know was the different types of bagels they had as i did not see it in the menu online (wheat, plain, onion, ect) but i should have known, it's a bagel place. lol. I was able to order over the phone and it was ready within 10 mins. The worker was really nice. I ordered an Egg Veggie and wow, very refreshing and tasted so good. I also ordered two egg, cheese, sausage and bacon bagels and my partner loved them. I paid 22 for all 3 plus a coffee. I thought it was pricey, but then i saw the size of the bagels and how can i complain. The size it perfect for the price. Definitely trying it out again and going back!! read more

The stars are for the food, not the service. The bagels here are great. They messed up my phone order today, I got one egg bagel, one butter and one cream cheese. I added a second cream cheese when I got there. They made two egg, one butter and the added cream cheese. After I got home and started passing them out I discovered the mistake. I called them and the said they would give me my money back for the wrong bagel, I told them it would be a couple of hours and they said to bring the bagel back. I said that some was going to now it eat as I would be one bagel short for my family. They said if I didn't bring it back they couldn't give me my money back. It is very hard to hear them on the phone when the read your order back, bad phone/too much background noise. First we waited in line for 15 minutes. And then when it was our turn the lady chose to serve the man behind us. Rung him up and then didn't even acknowledge us. Even though we were right in front of her. Made us wait another 10 minutes before taking our order. And then when we asked to buy a flavored cream cheese. She came out and worked on some items and walked past me and didn't say anything. I waited several minutes. She went in back for a few minutes more. She came back out and ignored me a third time. While I was waiting, first in line, I eyed up the bagels I was going to get, by the time I went to order, they pulled the rest of the blueberry bagels, probably for an online or phone order. They opened right on time, a couple minutes before actually (which I have never seen elsewhere) Their bagels were already made and the jalapeno jam and cheese is what I was wanting to try and they were kind enough to ask if I wanted to wait for them to be ready out of the oven. We got a blueberry bagel while we waited for my jalapeno croissant, and let me tell you.... That was THE SOFTEST bagel even after being toasted, that I have ever had! I'm from Brooklyn, so I know what a bagel should be, and this place is the real deal. The selection is excellent, but if you don't get there by 8am they could be out of your favorites. Just call the day before and let them know what you want, and they'll make sure your bagels are put aside for you. The coffee is great and they have a wonderful assortment of flavored cream cheeses. And if you're the clumsy type, they'll even cut your bagels in half for you. read more

I got the breakfast bagel sandwich on the works bagel. For the price (4.19), it's not a bad deal, usually it's a little higher at other places. The bagel is covered in everything: salt, seeds, onion, etc. The egg bacon cheese portion is also good, but overall, the sandwich is just okay.
