Stopped in while visiting our daughter at school. The menu was very intriguing. We ended up ordering the meatless balls plated with spicy red sauce to share, a buffalo chicken pizza, a Tuscan pizza and the ahi tuna off the appetizer menu. We also had a specialty draft beer and vanilla crown on the rocks. The bill came to $57. The draft beer selection was impressive! They also had a nice liquor selection. The atmosphere was comfortable and casual and decorated contemporary and pleasing. The pizzas were flavorful but I thought small for the price. The crust was thin, which I like, but didn't have a crispness to hold it together, so it flopped and the toppings slipped off. The meatless balls were delicious. They were also small about the size of a golf ball each and $7 for 3. The spicy red sauce was a chunky red sauce. I couldn't taste the spice. The tuna app came with a Cajun dusting of spices and a flavorful honey lime dressing and some greens. The serving size was generous and this was a delicious plate. The service we had was phenomenal! Bret was fun, attentive enough without being overbearing, and very knowledgeable on the beers and menu. I would definitely return here to try more! read more

There's a great reason, the food is really satisfying and the staff are very friendly. I eat in the bar much of the time and the bartenders are attentive, friendly and funny. My go-to is one of the meatballs, galic cream sauce and pasta. Man, I could eat this every night, and I'd turn into Tony Soprano, wait I might already have. I almost always stop in to 5th Street Pub whenever I'm in Perrysburg because my friend lives one block over on 6th Street. It's comforting to know that a tasteful craft beer is just a short walk away, provided the domineering hound that protects the alley doesn't leap the fence and maul me before I get there. While we are usually only stopping in for a drink or two, I did get the chance to have dinner there this weekend. The pizza is their most popular item from what I understand, but I had heard good things about the meatballs as well, so I decided to sample them sub-style. As a lifetime meatball enthusiast, I wasn't disappointed in the least bit. The unique thing about the sub is that there are up to 64 varieties when taking into account your meat, sauce and bun options (I kept it relatively standard with beef and spicy tomato sauce on a hoagie). It can be expectedly messy, so if you want to keep things neat you might be better off just getting a plate. The staff is always friendly and seems to know their beer most of the time, it's a disappointment to walk into a pub and have a bartender that doesn't have any idea what they're serving. If I had any forewarning about going to 5th Street Pub it might be that it's somewhat pricey, so don't expect to be filling up without a little bit of cash in your pocket. Even so, I've never left the place complaining that I'd just blown a bunch of money without enjoying some combination of the food, beer, atmosphere or service. read more

On a recent visit to 5th Street, there wasn't any outdoor seating so we sat in the bar area. Our service was mediocre as I had to keep getting up to ask the waitress first for a drink order, then for silverware. I could see having this problem if they were super busy, but they weren't. Also, the jukebox in the bar area, which is fairly loud, is set to play top 40 if no one pays the dollar per song request fee. I think that's a pretty big rip off. The music made me want to hurry up, eat and leave as there's only so much Katy Perry I can handle. I'm downgrading my review of 5th Street to three stars, because I think there's quite a bit of room for improvement. read more

Stopped in tonight for the first time. The lot was full so we dropped some our wives off at the door and parked. When we came in we asked where they sat the two ladies and the hostess look at each other lossed and said "YOU can look around for them" Now they just sat them two minutes ago and no one else was waiting for a table. So I laughed and we saw our party and sat down. This was not going to define my experience. The place was hopping with great but simple decor and nice vibe. We ordered the spicy pork meatballs and fried caprese for appetizers. They were small but very good. The menu was interesting and a menu that did not excite me. So I ordered a pizza with Brussel sprouts, panchetta and balsamic syrup. Good, not 0great and was missing something, Caramelized onions. The Bruscetta Pizza with pesto. Was the same OK bland, in need of garlic and black pepper. The capicolla spelled Capricolla on the menu , was a bit light on the meat and other ingredients, mostly bread and had chopped peperoncini misspelled on the menu, pepperocini were weird to see chopped. So the pizzas are OK the sandwiches are skimpy but it does have a good atmosphere so I will definitely go back and try something else. Now misspelled words on a menu does not mean that the food isn't good, missing ingredients to complete and compliment a dish does. Oh service. Outstanding! The runners took care of us bringing our food and checking if we needed anything else, the bussers kept our table clean of empty plates and our server was very friendly. My favorite place in this entire town!!! We went for lunch, ended up having 3 appetizers. Ahi tuna, seared perfectly & the spicy honey mustard sauce it's served with is Devine (order extra!) Arancini which was good but so many better things to eat. By far the most yummie thing I ever put in my mouth is the Buffalo Chicken meatballs!!! A very non descript pub turns out to be a real gem. They are known for their pizza but their appetizers are very good. Specifically their wings are some of the best wings I've eaten. Make sure you save room for the Zappole for desert. read more

This place is always packed with locals so it's hard to get a table. Since Covid, they've added plexiglass shields between tables which I really appreciated because it's always so darn loud in there. My husband's reuben sandwich was good, but my pizza was just alright. I ordered the BRUSSELS NDRANGHETA version, which is white pizza with Brussel sprouts and pancetta. There were big chunks of delicious roasted Brussel sprouts, but I would definitely have liked it better if the sprouts were chopped into smaller bits so every bite had some sprouts on it. We also ordered the arancini balls as an appetizer. They were delicious but you get 3 small balls for $9.50 - too much! The wait staff was unobtrusive to the point of not coming over enough to our table. Not sure we need to go back here. read more

So impressed. Tried to go to Swig but they had a 40 minute wait so came here instead. This was the first time I looked at a menu and found a hard time choosing between options, everything sounded good. Me and my boyfriend both loved our food which is also rare.
