The outside is messy and appears neglected. The windows are so dark, at first we doubted if they were even open. The inside smells like their grease hood is not working. I was not very hungry, so I asked the waitress about the chili. She said that the chili hamburger is one of their most popular dishes. I didn't want the burger, just a bowl of chili. Mike ordered a simple burger and fries. His order came out fairly quickly, but it was taking longer for my bowl of chili. As I sat there waiting, I saw the cook place a disposable bowl on the pass. The waitress disappeared around the corner, and appeared about two minutes later with the chili in a proper bowl. She obviously microwaved the chili. The chili may not BE Wolf Brand, but they have mixed WB in with it because it tastes exactly like WB. Fair warning: The check-out process in this place is unlike anything I've seen anywhere. When you are finished eating, you go to the counter, where the waitress is. She tells you what you owe, and then asks "Would you like to add a tip?", if you respond "Yes", she asks "How much?" Seriously? I guess it's a great way to shame people into giving you a larger tip than they ordinarily would have, but come on. This is 2025. Purchase an iPad or decent POS. Just to be clear, my daughter is a waitress/restaurant manager and I know how hard she works for her money. I standardly tip 20% unless the service was really awful, and then I tip 15%.
