Had a big nail in one of my tires, tire pressure was slightly lowered (33psi) btw it's a new car less then 3k miles) , went in for a patch, the guy says there was 2 nails and one of my old plugs came out and it's leaking (close to the sidewall of course - the tire was never plugged or even taken off , it's a new car) and it's not recommended to do 3 patches and I should just buy a new tire. They are such rip offs. I went to this place because my tire sensor was showing an error. I went to them for some air. One of the guys said the tire is no good and will need a replacement. I asked him just fill it with air. He said he did and it won't be fixed unless I replaced tires I asked how much is a replacement. He said 200$. I felt like I don't need my tire replacement because it was not flat. I left and went to another tire show in bayridge called Chris tire shop. In Chris tire shop one of the guys said I do not need to replace the tire. I just needed air. He filled my car tires with air and I went on with my day. 3 weeks later my car tires look great and so far had no issues.. Be careful with this shop. read more

If you bring a tire to get fix there what they would do is slash the sidewall of your tire and tell you need to buy another tire so they can make the sale to you for another tire . Scam! Scam! Scam! I read below reviews and what exactly happened to me tonight. I just need a simple patch which normally cost me $10. This guy took my tire for "inspection" and cane back said i need to change the whole tire. And there two holes on the tire WITHOUT snails in. I think he did the holes. I'm a car guy, owned Sti, M3, Civics, Z's and a Mustang. I had a nail right in the contact patch of my tire. First- The guy jacked it up in the wrong spot- the control arm. I had to tell him to jack it in the right place. Second, after they took the tire off and said I had 2 holes, one was in the sidewall and the other in the contact patch. The sidewall spot I suspect they did it intentionally. It is very unlikely to get 2 spots. There was also no nail in the sidewall, just a hole. Sidewall usually leaks faster than the contact spot.  Also,  without the nail holding back some of the air, it will leak even faster.  Very suspicious. read more

My wheel was loosing air. Looked over the entire tire and found a nail on the tread. I bring it to this shop. The employee takes my tire into the shop out of my view. He calls me into the shop and shows me a screw on the edge of the tire that is considered "unrepairable". He says I need to replace the entire tire. I look over and recognize the owner. He speaks Spanish to the employee and patches it the best he can but I still need a new tire. I get home and find that the original nail is still there and I still have a slow leak. Never going back to 67 Street Tire Shop again. Add me to the growing list of people who got tricked with the "You have a nail/screw on the sidewall" scam! read more

There are so many bad reviews for this place, and I had such a good experience so I waited 3 weeks to post so I could assure there were no issues with my new tires (or my other tires according to the warnings from the other reviews) but there were no issues! I had a great experience. The Nissan Dealership sent me there because they didn't have my tire in stock. The nice guy might have been 15 minutes max, charged me under market for a new tire and I was on my way! One good thing about this place it stays open till 9pm normally I would go to BK tire up the block because they cheaper but they close early. So if you getting out of work late and you have to get your kids and make a couple of stops you can count on them being open. They are quick and knowledgeable, the owner is the best!! short Mexican guy with the bald head sorry idk is name Yelp next time I go I will get it I promise!!! This tire shop is truly the worst of the worst, I used them for a simple and inexpensive tire rotation on my brand new sedan several months ago with no apparent problem. I brought the car back today for another rotation about 7500 miles later. Less than ten minutes into the job, I see one of the workers is using a hack saw on one of my wheel bolts! I asked what happened and the boss, in very broken English, claims that whoever installed the tires last must have put the tire nut on wrong, so the bolt was now stripped of its threads and had to be sawed off to reinstall the nut. I quickly reminded him that his shop had rotated the tires last, and that this was only the second time that the tires have been rotated. He suddenly realizes that he screwed up, and says its no big deal to drive with one of the bolts half sawed off. IT IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE, ON THE CONTRARY! Realizing that these idiots have already done irreversable damage, I have no choice but to let them mount my tires back on and I drive off, mindful now that I need to make an appointment with the mechanic to replace the wheel bolt asap. These incredibly ignorant morons are the most untrustworthy cheats and liars, and have no sense of professionalism or ethics at all. They barely understand English, and totally screwed up what should have been a simple job and also denied any responsibility. I trusted them and am very sorry now that I did. Removed flat tire brought it back to shop put a new tire on the rim - the Chevy Bolt does not come with a spare :(only thing i don't like 'bout the Bolt) back to us in no time, putting the new tire on the car. Please Avoid this plague and don't come to this shop. I regret not reading reviews before coming here. There are more google reviews too. I have the same problem as everyone else. Got scammed. I found a nail on my rear passenger tire. They took it in the store and I went in there 1 minute later. They found a hole on the sidewall. They said, they can't fix that and wanted me to buy a new tire. They wanted me to buy two tires. $250 each. He told me my back tires are done.. Tires could go up to 65,000 to 80,000. I alone have 32k on mine. Trying to trick me to change my other tire. I'm 200% sure that they poked a damn hole on my tire! Same stories on Google and Yelp. Good thing I told them to put my tire back on and went somewhere else. Paid $10 for them to poke a hole. My tire was hissing when I drove it 3 blocks. Meaning the hole wasn't there before. Air would of been gone 1 hour later. Karma will bite these guys. No wonder why I didn't come here 1 year ago. Bad Bad reviews and bunch of crooks. So I had noticed a flat tire on my car. I removed the tire and installed the spare. The tire had air in it so I coated the tire in windex which started soaping and bubling from a screw stuck in the tread of the tire. I drove the tire to their shop and asked them to repair it. One guy took my tire inside the shop while the second asked me to hold a flashlight for him so he could remove the spare. As I figured out later, this was done as a distraction. When the second guy emerges from the store he says that there are actually two holes, one that i located earlier and a gigantic gash on the side of the tire. I am not afflicted with blindness and would have seen a 1/2 inch gash on the side of the tire before I brought it in. Also the tire was now fizzing and not holding any air period. This was not the condition in which I brought my tire to them. I am fairly confident that the service man pierced my tire on the side wall of the tire while the second service man created a distraction near my vehicle (namely asking me to hold a flashlight for him). Amazingly enough they had the exact tire that I needed and was asked to pay $170 for it which is fair market value.... whats not fair or legal is the shop damaging the tire and then offering a replacement for it. I read one other review that pretty much told a similar story about this place. I did not believe it because it seemed so surreal and unbelievable. Well, once it happened to me it became much more believable. Now I am out $185. read more

A gas station worker recommended 67th St. Tire Shop Corp when a nail poked into my tire. When I arrived, a few workers from the shop came out to look at my car. The nail puncture was in the middle of the tire, but the workers said that the wall of my tire was also damaged. When I was not looking, they made a sharp cut on the wall of my tire. They said that I had to get the entire tire replaced and charged me $175! I should have checked online reviews before stopping here. These guys ought to go to jail. Never go here!! read more

I went in that shop, I dint want too but I had an obvious screw in my tire. I didn't want to go in because I had trouble before but I figured what could happen. He wheeled the tire in gets it in the tub and He's checking the sidewalls, And I'm saying there's the screw right there but He keeps checking the sidewalls. Now I'm remembering why I didn't want to go there He's done this before. He finds air coming out of the sidewall and tell me "this tire no good" These are fairly new tires He says he can put a tube for $30.00 I said no put a patch I'll take them back to the manufacturer. Like other's said, I took a tire into the shop with a "SLOW LEAKE" that still had air in it. They took the tire and asked me to move my car (for no reason). When I returned 3 minutes later the tire was flat and he pointed out a slash in the side wall. I could not believe that it was there since the gash would never have allowed it to hold air. I bought a new tire. Fast forward one year, I have a flat and you can see the screw in the tire. Again, He takes the tire and asks me to move the car. The guy took off my tire off brought it inside his shop called me inside and said its no good .There is a gash on the inside of the tire which then he said I will give you a new one for 85 dollars. These guys helped me out immediately ! I had a nail in my tire on my pick up ( GMC Canyon ) I did not wait, they took me right away. I was informed, that yes there was a nail and also a slow leak in another area. My tire tread was pretty worn and was told I should replace the tire because it was not any good. I brought them over to my truck and asked their opinion on the other tires ( they did not try to sell me at all ). I wanted a safe vehicle and I wound up replacing all four tires ( due to tread wear and Uneven tread wear that was pointed out to me while the tires were on the truck ). I was advised to get a wheel alignment and they also checked my brake pads. These guys were great ! I had all four tires replaced mounted and balanced and installed within 20 minutes ! GREAT SERVICE !!!!!! I was told to rotate the tires every 5,000 miles and to bring it to them and they will do it.
