Went for a date Friday night. Only waited a short time for a table which wasn't bad. Had drinks and food while we waited. The food is Vietnamese so if you like that...you will be ok. But they did have a few American items like wings, fries and tater tots - yes! Tater tots!!! We got the wings with Thai Sauce and tater tots. The tater tots are good (you can't mess those up)- served with ketchup. The wings - won't order again! Undercooked. Pass. The employee are super nice! When it was our turn - they cleaned our pool table and the surrounding area before we started. We played two rounds and had a ball! Didn't know there was a juke box - so next time we will make some suggestions so we can tap our toes while we play. Will definitely be back! read more

Great place to relax with some friends, get a drink, and maybe some snack or apps to eat, and shoot some pool. I just found out about this spot, finally a billiards place in MoCo! Very spacious, nice tables, and a small bar? Pretty much everything you'd look for in a billiards hall. The staff here are very friendly which is always a plus. Not many people at 9pm on a Tuesday, but I imagine weekends would be quite busy. Billiards is charged by the hour; $7/hour/person. The tables are spaced apart enough that there is conversational privacy. Each table has it's own set of overhead lights which can be turned off when not in use. There are food and drink specials available. My friend ordered a Jack and Coke off the specials menu and was served a full glass of the drink...now granted it'll be more Coke than Jack, but still a pretty wonderful deal. My only gripe would be the lack of posted information about hours and prices. Other than that I think 7 Billiards is a welcome addition to the Rockville area and I know I'll be back again. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon and was trying to figure out how to reserve a table, as I walked around I noticed how barely anyone was wearing a mask. I was making my way out the door and was rudely grabbed by the arm to walk around the tables by a man. Considering everything going on, I did not appreciate an unmasked man grabbing me -- you can use your words and tell someone to go around instead of putting your hands on them. This place is really cool. The owners have great vision and they are executing it flawlessly. Atmosphere is really good, service is perfect, the place is super clean, the prices are really reasonable and the food and beverage are phenomenal. I had cold miller lites, wings, fries, nachos and steak tacos. All of it was fantastic. They play great music and if you want to play pool the prices are great and the tables are in great shape. It's hard to write a review on this location. It's newly opened, and still in the process of opening, if that makes any sense. I did enjoy myself, so I'm giving it high props. I can't tell you how excited I was to hear there was a new billiards place opening in Montgomery County. I usually have to make my way down to Buffalo Billiards in D.C. or find a bar that happens to have a couple pool tables. To start, this place was impossible to find (chalking it up to not being fully opened yet). There's no signage yet. Literally none. No window signs or banners or anything. It's also in the back of the shopping center so there's nothing that points you in that direction. Google Maps will not take you straight to the front door. (IT'S NEXT DOOR TO iROCK AND THE STORAGE LOCATION) Once we got there, we walked in and everything was covered and we were told they don't open til 4. Also something you don't see posted anywhere. We came back at 5. Grabbed a table and some drinks. And.... it was great. I can't say too many bad things about my experience while I was actually there and playing pool. The service was great. The entire team was very friendly. Drinks were great and a great price. They have a solid menu. The pool tables are top quality. Everything is still new so it all looks fantastic. It is a pure pool hall, and that's what I really wanted. I gave this place 4 stars knowing their potential. More info: I play APA pool here now. The tables are 9 foot Diamond tables and are well taken care of. It's usually a nice temperature inside, but be warned there are a lot of lights above each table, so if you are playing a lot, you might get warm. The owner is almost always here playing pool and the staff is really friendly. 6 stars for the staff, they work their butts off on league nights. I'm not terribly keen on the food, but they do have some standouts that I really like. I think the cook needs to stop with the pre-made burgers and just make them from scratch with fresh ground beef, seasoned with just salt and pepper. The burger and hot dog are not great, but passable. Tuesday night tacos are okay, but they do need more seasoning to make them better. Chicken wings are real good, in my opinion - crunchy and well-seasoned with Old Bay. They come in BBQ, too, and maybe another flavor. The Japanese chicken nuggets are also good. Overall, I still give 7 Billiards 5 stars even with its very minor faults. read more

It's a pool hall with a bar, instead of a bar with a few pool tables, so the crowd seems more serious about playing and having a good time. Nice place in moco to drink and shoot pool. Place is hidden but parking is plentiful on a weekday. Parking can get filled up if iRock is busy. On weekends the wait for a game can take a while. They have good drink specials for top shelf liquor. My complaints are that I wish they had buckets of beer and the music was louder. read more

This is a wonderful new room! The nine-foot Diamond tables are pristine. The full bar and kitchen are well-stocked and the service is impeccable. If you want to play pool on quality equipment in a clean, friendly atmosphere you should definitely try this place. A must for serious pool players and amateurs. read more

We've been here twice, and had a great experience both times. The tables, cues, and balls are all new and good quality (to the best of my not expert knowledge, though I definitely been to places where I recognize terrible equipment!). The owner is really great, and the prices are reasonable. We've been to the a few other pool places in the area and this is by far the best!! They have a limited menu but it's good bar food. Had a great time here. The interior was nice, tables are beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My friend pointed out the music was at the perfect volume to allow for conversation. Food looked good if snacks are needed, and seemed like a decent shelf (I didn't order either). My only issue was the beer selection... Please switch out Flying Dog or add a different IPA (Dogfish Head?) soon. read more
