Did you know that the "255" on your tire spec is the width of it and the next number is the height of the tire from the rim in relation to the ratio of the first number? Mike hooked it So a month later and that tire i bought is bad... it's showing wire on the outer portion of the tread which is odd. Gotta knock off some stars for that. This place was amazing! I called them at about 5pm on a Sunday and they are open till 6pm!! What's wild s that are open 365 days out of the year!! The three gentlemen working there were extremely nice for us showing up at 520pm. They quoted me a cheap price for two patches if both tires needed them because the front and back on the same side each had one screw in it. They pulled one out and said that it had not gotten into the tire and it was just fine. The other tire did need a patch and it, which they fixed in just under twenty minutes and checking out both tires!! Wow what an honest place with truthful guys that are dependable anytime of the year are you kidding me I now know when ever I need any tire related issues I have a local shop that takes care of their customers and looks for repeat service when need. I've gotta say - Mike (owner) is the man. I messaged him on Yelp last weekend after my tire had shredded on the freeway to the point where I was left with my hub cab. He was super responsive and told me about his used tires, which were more so in my budget. When I had arrived, he inspected my car and said it'd be a quick fix! It turned out to be a much more complicated issue because my shredded tire was melted onto my hub cab, and it almost seemed like an impossible feat to fix. I went to 7 Days Tires based on their Yelp reviews. I did not receive the 5 star service others seem to have had. I called to get a quick quote on new tires and alignment for my Honda Fit. The price was decent, so I went in and spoke with Francisco. Dropped my car off at 4:30 & my car was done before 5. That should have been the first red flag. I pay & leave. I get about a block away and my car is pulling to the right pretty hard. I turn down an empty side street to gun it just in case the stretch of Sepulveda I was on was uneven. Yep.... same problem, off I drift. So I call the shop - or so I think..... When you call the number listed, you don't get to speak with anyone at the shop - You get Sean, the owner, on his cell phone. He tells me to take it back in & they'll make it right. I drive back to the shop and Francisco tells me that they're going to take it to get corrected (because they don't do their own alignment, which I knew from other reviews) I tell them I'm going with them - at this point, I don't believe it was ever done. We go to Lorenzo's alignment. I speak to the tech before they hook my car up and ask them for the print out, since they just had my car. The tech says my car has never been to the shop before. OK! I call Sean to see what's up. The story is that they have 2 shops they take cars to and since the first shop didn't do the alignment correctly, they sent my car here. Because why would they not take it back to the shop they allegedly already paid to do the alignment? Do you smell that? I did. I asked Sean to get the print out from the "first place" they took my car, as I am now positive nothing was ever done. He says he'll get that for me. We finish at Lorenzo's (SUPER nice guys BTW!) and head back to 7 Days. Francisco is nowhere to be found and the other guy, who really only speaks Farsi, has no way to get a hold of him - or pretends to not understand my request to call. I wait for about 15 min for Francisco to get back & tell him I need the print out from the "first place" before I leave. Francisco has not yet spoken with Sean about that (even though I called Sean 30-40 min before I came back), but he'll go get it right now. It's now around 6pm. Francisco comes back at about 10 minutes later to tell me the "first place" has already closed for the day. Convenient. Could I come back tomorrow for the print out? I will not be going back - because there is no print out. This mysterious "first place" (They never would tell me the name, though I asked repeatedly) does not exist, so no work was done on my car there. Did I eventually leave with 4 reasonably priced tires, and an alignment? Yeah. But I had to spend an additional hour holding their hands to make sure the job I already paid for got done. There are 100's of tire places on Sepulveda or Van Nuys - unless you have time to babysit your car and ensure your work gets done yourself, choose another one. Oh and they also managed to pull the molding off my door handle somehow - not a huge issue as I was able to pop it back in. But you'd think if I could do it easily, maybe they would have at least tried to fix that..... 9/30/17 - UPDATE. My car was making a clanging noise, so I pulled over and 2 (TWO) of my effing lug nuts had fallen off & were rattling around between my hub cap. ONE TIRE WAS ONLY PUT ON 50% OF THE WAY. read more

This place is now my go-to. I called & told them I had a slow leak in my tire & asked how long it would take to patch it. They said 10 mins. I got there & they started immediately. About 5 mins later they brought my tire out to show it had 2 nails & why they could not patch it effectively. They told me I had to replace it, (which is news you never want to hear), but I understood because they explained it. I asked for the tire pricing & it was very reasonable (I called my brother & friend who are car people to confirm lol). I was out of there in pretty much 10-15 mins & the used tire that they put on was the same tire, but a better condition than what I had! It was almost new! DO NOT COME HERE! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! If I could leave zero stars I definitely would. I called in on a Saturday to see if they could do an alignment and the owner said yes it would be quick and easy. I bring my car in and immediately I can see these guys don't know what they are doing. The guy who is going to do the alignment takes the car and tries to put it on the machine that lifts the car up but he missed the track so half of the car is on and half is off. I ask if this is okay since they have to start using a jack on the back of the car and push it on themselves. The owner says it's fine but then CLOSES the garage door so I can't see what's going on! They finish and give it back to me with dirty hand prints all over the interior that I have to wash off myself. I pay and leave. When I get home I notice the car is still pulling to the left. I call back and the guy says to bring the car back the next day so he can rotate the tires. I take it back and see he only rotates the front tires. When I ask about this he gets angry and says he didn't have to do this it was just a favor. Very bad attitude. Then today I take it to the dealership so they can inspect it and they tell me that it was never aligned properly so they have to do it AGAIN!!! Waste of 75 dollars and horrible service! Stay away and take your car somewhere better!!!! read more
