This one is located on West side of State St near North University on the Univ of Michigan campus. Really small one but still has the standard 7-11 stuff including some hot food. I asked how did the price of ice increase of 149%! NI price tag to be shown. Asked what happened, and he told me they change prices every four months ... for ice ... and then asked me what time I came in and confessed they raise the price after the morning. Well. He takes the time to know what everyone likes and he makes sure he has what you want and need . He knows everyone's name and I love that ! I remember when this place was first opened on one of the main strips of the Ann Arbor downtown across from the diag. At the time I thought it was an eyesore but this business is worse than that. Many of the stores in Ann Arbor have a local flair and even on the downtown main strips there are a lot of local businesses which provide quality. 7-11 Does not. Additionally just looking at the picture for this establishment and you can see how jarring it is in the classic building front. I hope that this does not become a trend and I think the non-local contents serve as a good indication of what is to expect within. I would not patronize this establishment and do not recommend anyone else does either. read more

Only one place on campus... unfortunately, they are about 13 minute drive away from me... they also have second floor with tables for you to study, first for 7Eleven, it was nice addition to serve their primary clients. read more

I searched all over 9 miles to be exact to find an atm that sponsors money pass to no avail until I found this 7 Eleven! They have the money pass atm I was able to Get my entire $300 off my card with no fee! Fee free atm! Miracle! This 7-11 is set up really cool as well,it looks much different than the 7-11s I'm used to in Michigan. This 7-11 reminded me of the ones I saw in Toronto in my youth. I am so happy I found this place. If your card is supported by money pass or any of the other banks listed on the atm u can withdrawal for free and that's hard to find. Check it out next time you're in As you can see from above post I was so happy with this place til I went back to use the atm they added a fee which I wasn't going to flip out about because it's pretty standard these days,but what had me so heated is I was standing there looking something up on my phone because of the added fee and the cashier came over and asked me what I was doing. His attitude was implying he thought I was stealing or casing the joint. I said I was using atm. I don't appreciate being accused of what he was implying! I stood there for ten minutes while the one attendant available made a personal phone call and did grill maintenance, flipping hotdogs/whatever around and straightening up the hot food - all things which could have easily been done after helping me. I don't mind waiting a minute or two, but ten? I know they saw me, I was greeted and asked to wait a moment. When I left, I doubt I was noticed. Super rude attendant, it's customary when someone calls you answer the callers question before preceding to ring up customers but instead lady put the phone on the counter continued to ring up 5 people before I hung up and called back upon which she answered with a firm and cranky "yes, 7-11" cut me off with her answer before I finished my question. The associate JAMES was a rude motherfucking asshole. I asked him if he had boneless chicken wings he said no. I asked him if he had jalapeño taquitos that he could make? He said there is none ready I said you must have some in the back can u make them? He said it will take 45 minutes to make them..I called him on his BS coz I have worked at 7-11. It takes freaking 17 minutes to make them and you can also make them in the oven nowadays. On top of that this asshole had audacity to be rude and arrogant to me when I told him I know the owners and will complain about him. He tells me to go ahead and do it. Such people should be fired. I hope corporate notice this comment and take an immediate action. Store was filthy quite a lot of empty space on the shelves. Free WIFI - This is the newest and Best 7-Eleven ever you don't get your typical 7-Eleven fare at this location you get: hot food, snack food and frozen food, as well as pop, juice, candy products. Wine and beer and my favorite Slurpees, ATM, U-of-M-apparel. But what I really like is their 2nd Floor Internet Cafe that serves Cappuccino, Caffe Latte other coffees, tea, pop, juice, slurpees, hot food that has a Starbucks feel to it. The 7-Eleven Cafe includes: Free WiFi with wall outlets, Several flat screen TVs to watch the U of M football games, tables, couches, hot food, snack food and frozen food, as well as pop, juice, candy products and my favorite Slurpees. The new full-time attendant, Eileen, is so cranky and brusque that it's an unpleasant experience. She's been there a couple months now, and she's the one that the other posters are likely talking about. On a handful of occasions, I've gone in there to buy something and the front checkout is completely unattended. She's off somewhere in the back doing something, and will take an unusually long amount of time to get up to the front-- she'll notice you, but she just doesn't care. I've often had to wait more than several minutes for her to saunter up to the front. I've never e-mailed a formal complaint about an employee to a corporate headquarters, but I made a special exception for Eileen. It's a convenience store-- it's not convenient to sit there at the front register while she's off in the store making the Crispy Cremes look nice-- that's something to do when you don't have customers. read more
