Service is mediocre and they are the only coffee shop in Maple Lawn. I got a vanilla latte for $7 and it tasted like a worse version of a Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee. Don't get me wrong, I like Dunkin' if that's the price and expectation I have for my coffee that day. Too much cream, too much sugar, and no espresso coffee flavor. The hot lattes don't even have latte art and that's expected if it's going to be an overpriced coffee shop. I should have known it was a red flag when she didn't ask me about any milk options. My boyfriend ordered a pineapple smoothie and that was good. The only saving grace to us giving this 2 stars. The cafe is outdated and needs to be updated if the coffee is going to be terrible. I would rather go to Starbucks or Dunkin' than here in the future. Such a disappointment for a coffee shop in Maple Lawn.

Their coffee is consistently great--rich and flavorful, and you can tell they really care about quality. I also love their lentil soup--it's comforting, well-seasoned, and a perfect pairing with a cup of coffee. That said, the customer service could use a bit of improvement. It hasn't been a dealbreaker for me, but a warmer, more attentive experience would really take this place to the next level. Still, definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!

They have bagel breakfast sandwiches and French toast. Not only that, They make deli sandwiches and wraps as well. There are three standup tables in the middle of the room if you want to eat your bagel while in the shop and keep your car clean. Service is pretty quick and the shop does a brisk business with lots of customers coming in. Self serve coffee in hot carafes feature straight coffee and hazelnut. The coffee is above average in quality. Yesterday bagels are really cheap, heck if you buy a half dozen fresh bagels, tomorrow they will already be a day old. So you can buy tomorrow's bagels today basically.

The bagel was crunchy on the outside, but soft (and not doughy) on the inside. The hummus was creamy and flavorful. Overall, an excellent bagel. Sadly, that's followed up by the bad news. The bad news is that the coffee was terrible. Weak, not much flavor. I did something I have not done with coffee - I threw it out. For $3.89 for a large cup at a bagel shop, I expected more. Just awful. I don't know if it was the brand of coffee or just a bad batch. There's half and half available, but no other milk/non-dairy options. There are 4 very small tables in the place for standing only. Based on pictures I've seen on Yelp, they used to have a few tables there for sitting. I came today hoping to sit for a few minutes and enjoy a bagel with coffee. Not here. Finally, I ordered and the person who prepared my bagel called out my number and put the bag on the counter. I checked my ticket, confirmed the number, went to take it and another worker (the guy who took my order) ran over, grabbed the bag, asked me for the number and told me it wasn't mine. Then he asked the other person what the number was, she said my number and then he dropped the bag on the counter and told me I could take it. Weird experience. There were only two people waiting for orders at the time - not a huge opportunity for a mixup. Just weird. So, I recommend the place for take-out but skip the cup of Joe. And don't expect smiling faces behind the counter. (Even if you tip the guy like I did.)

The first thing I thought of was getting a box of mini cakes from here. I have my favorites but decided to mix things up and get what I thought was a little bit of everything - some of these I have not yet tried. Here is what I got: Black Forest, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Truffle, Mango, Raspberry, Red Velvet, Tiramisu, and Vanilla Bean. The initial thought was to cut each of these minis in half, but I am so glad I did not do that. At the gathering I attended, everyone liked the selections. In the end only 1 was left and all enjoyed what they had.

They made getting pastries and coffee (and other assorted drinks) an experience! The customer service was just as lovely as the venue. The person that attended to me was personable and gave excellent recommendations. Parking is easy with two parking lots nearby! The food looks and tastes amazing. My visit was very impromptu, so I only tried the spinach and feta croissant (?) and a hot chai tea, and both were delectable. I also ordered 2 pieces of cakes to go, but ended up giving it away due to being too full from dinner. But I can't wait to visit this location again! Highly recommend!
