This was genuinely some of the best coffee I've had since moving to California. I originally ordered one drink, and then realized they had a coffee flight. They were so nice and let me just pay the difference to switch to the flight, and THANK GOD because every single flavor I chose was amazing. The Toasted Tiramisu was TO DIE FOR. My friend also got the brown sugar coffee, which was incredible, so between the flight and hers I got to try five different flavors.. and every single one was so good. I'm honestly sad I live all the way in Santa Barbara because I will absolutely be going out of my way to come back here just for the coffee. The matcha was smooth and it wasn't dry nor bitter. The drink was creamy and the Einspanner cream wasn't too sweet which I liked. This is the type of matcha I don't mind paying $8 for. I also got the savory croissant which was a nice paring with the matcha. They offered to warm up the pastry for me which was nice and it went well with the matcha. There's inside and outside tables and seating with a good amount of outlets and I believe there's WiFi. There's even free covered parking! Only downside is there's no public restroom.

I got the matcha chai, and I think it was the chai's fault, but it definitely tasted watered down and not how I like my matcha at all. I prefer it creamier. I learned from my mistakes and got the matcha with cold foam this time, and that was much better. Strong matcha flavor, and that classic deep green color. Would definitely get that again. The service itself is decent. I have ran into baristas sometimes that are more so apathetic, but I mean I guess how enthusiastic can you be about making coffee. The vibes are great, but this place is always packed so secure your spot early.
