    Crispy Grilled Cheese on Sourdough

Had a great experience at the Starbucks on Saticoy and Louise! I was greeted warmly by Aimee while ordering, who, with the help of V, helped me decide on a latte sweet enough for my tastes. They were both incredibly helpful and patient, and V's recommendation--a custom latte created by Brandon--was perfect for me! At the window, Aimee made sure I liked my latte and that it didn't need any changes. I really appreciated the thorough and friendly service. Along with the latte, I really loved the brownie, which was rich and warm and moist. I'd also recommend the grilled cheese, which was incredibly delicious!

This place always makes my drink. Super delicious. I come here every day thank you Starbucks team except for one time but I think the girl is new so I forgive her.Lol anyway it's only Starbucks aside from another one that I trust with my drink because there's other Starbucks that make my drinks super watery, but this location is amazing!

Always exceptional service at this Starbucks drive-through. The employees are super friendly and chatty when there is a moment and I very much appreciate the suggestion when I am not sure what it is I would like to drink for the day. Even just sitting at the pick up window, waiting for my order, you can see the smiles and hear the talking and laughing and it seems like a very nice environment to be part of.

    This was after ZERO sips.

Service wasn't slow this time so that was a huge improvement, but when I pay six dollars for a tall peppermint mocha and the cup is only half full, it is annoying.. I love you Starbucks, but please tell your employees to give us what we pay for because we pay for a lot

The service here continues to trend downward. One car ahead of me and no one behind. I placed my order of the brown sugar oak and a tomato mozzarella panini. I also asked for an ice water and to purchase GC's. I was told by the gentleman who took my order ( not sure if it's the same guy as the one in the window) that I can purchase the gcs at the window. He also didn't seem to understand what food I was ordering when I said tomato mozzarella. When I pulled up, Jesus started me off with the GC purchase. He gave me the option of selecting which card I would like to select and proceeded to charge me in two separate transactions. Everything seemed fine up to now. I noticed that the ice water was in a grande cup, and honestly I can't recall if I asked for it to be venti or not but it wasn't a problem... i proceeded to ask and maybe my wording ticked off this ticking time bomb even more ... I said... " if you guys are going to give me a grande ice water can I get two" immediately Jesus took a unprovoked, unprofessional and defense stance. He quickly with attitude responded " then next time make sure you ask for a venti"... shocked I said "excuse me... and asked "I'm sorry was I rude to you" to which he replied something like " next time ask for a venti so you don't accuse us getting your order wrong"... or something down that line. I'm totally downplaying the attitude that this guy was giving me at 6:30 in the morning. Completely shocked that again, this guy had the nerve to speak to his customers like this when I was not rude, belligerent, talking down or anything. I'm not sure what set this guy off with me... even the person I was on the phone with said that this was uncalled for. I asked to speak to his manager Mike who was apologetic and said he could hear the whole interaction and motioned to the headset. He continued to apologize when I returned for the GC envelopes that I had asked Jesus and was not provided. He continued to apologize when I contacted the store and asked for the district managers information. I left two voicemails for their district manager. I understand we have a holiday break coming up. However, I want to hear back. My experience this morning should not have happened. Is this the norm for how we treat our customers? Has he done this before and no one complained??? Well not with me. I frequent Starbucks maybe 3-5 times a week. At $12-20 each visit sometimes more or less. I don't think a bad attitude is the way to retain your customers....

    Awesome smiley face :)

The service was super fast and the drinks taste like how they're supposed to taste. I was on my way to jury duty, which sucks, especially early in the morning, and Thomas took my order, he was super nice and he drew this awesome smiley face on my cup which made my day, hence the yelp review. Thanks for a great starbucks experience Thomas!

That's just a little bit of milk to them I guess

No card reader- sign is not readable before you get stuck in the eternally long drive through. Asked for two shaken espressos while I uploaded money on the app to pay- they can't make that. Asked for two iced coffees with just a little bit of milk- got two iced coffees that are at least half cream half coffee. There's much better Starbucks nearby, save yourself the time.

The environment was clean, laid back, and had nice subtle music. This is my first time here and I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk and turon (banana brown sugar syrup). I was interested in the syrup since it is part of my culture (turon). The syrup had a very strong artificial banana flavor which wasn't that good, but I got used to the flavor as I drank it. I would not order the same syrup though. I tried my boyfriend's mocha latte and it was really good! Still not sure of this place but I'll come back another time to see if their other drinks are good. They also provide a stamp card to get a free drink.

They have indoor and outdoor seating options. BUT BEWARE indoor seating gets competitive. Especially on a hot day, you'll often see people moving from seat to seat to get away from the entrance or are waiting for a seat to be freed inside. It's a great place for anything really. I've had hours of conversations, reading and work done here. I've also seen many others do the same. My main con with this place is the parking situation. The parking lot is TINY, so you have to park locally. That's about a 3-5 minute walking distance from the store. I normally wouldn't mind, but it bothers me on hot days. The food is so interesting. They have both healthy and hearty options at a competitive price. It's the classic Chicken & Waffles, Avocado Toast, Bouquet Burrito (a breakfast burrito) and Breakfast Tacos. Someone in the kitchen also likes kimchi and loves mixing it in their food because they also serve Kimchi Breakfast Tacos and Kimchi Grilled Cheese. I don't know how many visits it'll take to fully experience this place, but I think it's worth it.

We ordered the iced Aurora Latte and the Raspberry Hibiscus Tea. The Aurora Latte had too much milk and I couldn't really taste the coffee itself, and the Raspberry Hibiscus Tea was watered down. This review is long overdue…read more I've been a House Roots regular since they opened their SFV shop many years ago and frequent the bakery as well. This location is the newest (only about a year or so?) of the three. Each store has a similar and yet distinct style/focus. This shop is located on the ground level of an apartment/leasing space, so if you're not looking for it, it can be missed/mistaken. Parking at first glance also seems difficult but don't worry, there's plenty in the parking garage behind the shop/ below the apartment building. The shop itself is beautiful! Compared to the other two locations, this location is most spacious; There's outdoor seating as well and indoor seating. It's pretty family friendly and equally accommodating to students/working professionals who need a place to do some work. There's a grab and go section, for those who need a quick bite as well as some food items- pastries and burritos. Overall, the environment is pretty relaxed and chill. As far as drinks go, I've tried several- everything from the drip, pour overs, espresso shots, americanos, sweet lattes, and pictured, both matcha and einspanner dreams from the last time I came with my husband and parents. Pricing is fair but most importantly, all their drinks are good! The espresso is good consistently which in turn makes all their coffee drinks delicious. All the speciality drinks are not overly sweet and well balanced, unless requested. Specifically from the last visit, the vanilla cream on top of the einspanner/matcha dreams were to die for. My husband, who isn't a coffee drinker also mentioned how good the matcha was, even with almond milk (he's lactose). If you want to venture out/explore something out of the usual drip or americano, I recommend the einspanner or matcha dream drinks! Besides the good coffee, all the Houseroots locations are set apart by their hospitality, and this shop is unparalleled. Every time I've come to grab a cup on my way to visit my parents or for an afternoon pick me up, all the baristas have been welcoming and warm. Northridge is always a treat, can't wait to come back when in the area!
