When I came in yesterday around 3pm, this store was like a homeless shelter. There were a group of homeless people working on their cars without license plates on the side of the store. Three people asked me for money outside. One followed me in because I said no. Inside, 1/2 of the customers were homeless. The one clerk seemed nervous. Let me remind you, this was at 3pm in the afternoon, not 3am. This made me want to leave so bad, but I was hungry. My spicy big bite hot dog $3.50 was OK. There was a promotion for two slices of pizza with a 20oz drink for $5. Not sure what 7-11 can do about the cleanliness of the homeless coming in issue. This is my local 7-Eleven that my family's frequented for the past 45+ years! Bright, clean, and always busy. That said, the parking lot does tend to attract its share of transients who sit on the ground beneath the windows. My big favorites here are the ATM machine and the automated key maker. There's all the junk food favorites, though I must admit I haven't had a meal here since they stopped selling microwaveable piroshkis back in the 1990s. I'll usually get my lottery tickets here, as my dad did before me. :-) Here's hoping for a win! Love this store and will continue to visit as often as I need to. read more

I get our Sunday paper here and they are conveniently close by. I can tell you that this is the safest 7-Eleven around as it's right next to Broadmoor Police Station. Just make sure you don't get pulled over by those bored cops lurking around the corner. I live right across the street from this 7-Eleven. This location is one of the better ones out of all the 7-11 I've been too. Obviously, they're Slurpee machine is why I absolutely love them. Can't go wrong with Slurpee! They are always well stocked and clean. RedBox is available just right outside if you want to rent a movie after getting some snacks. There is also an ATM machine if you don't have cash and want to try out your luck with some scratches/lottery! Service has always been good every time I've been here. As for the area that it's in, the Broadmoor police department is right across, so if you don't feel safe at night that might put you at ease. If you want a car wash, or you need to do any laundry, a laundromat and car wash place is next to this location, so go ahead and grab a snack while you're doing either one. read more

Times have changed! Haven't been here since middle school! They have remodeled and now have precautions against people who come in with BACKPACKS, WOW! I remember getting Now&Laters here in my younger days before school! I think everyone did for that matter. The caramel apple pops were usually the item ticket item on the playground at that time, as was BIG LEAGUE CHEW!!! Despite all that, there were those would make HELL here for the cashiers! People would steal candy and soda and did not care about getting caught. I use to see adults and children fighting and yelling at the cashiers while adamantly denying that the stole from the store. I mean, this was in the early to mid 90's when this was happening and it was an ongoing issue for this 7-Eleven. It got so bad after awhile that every few months there would be new cashiers working here. It was fairly comical!! They probably got tired of busting kids stealing and the robberies!! This happens to be very interesting because the Broadmoor Police station is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET and always has been!! GO FIGURE! I would could in after cool only for the video games, which they no longer have, and the ICEE! The ICEE was the thing! Just load up on the sugar and go WILD at home. But, enough about the past and lets get to today. Came in to get a cold beverage and saw signs to customers letting them know that BACKPACKS need to be left at the COUNTER! DAMN, has it gotten that BAD here! I mean, I knew times were changing but this is CRAZY! I also noticed that there are more cameras installed here as well. Oh, and the still have that same payphone outside that has been there from the time that I was in elementary school, HA! This payphone actually ate a bunch of my quarters when I was younger! Glad I stopped by but I feel kinda bad for the staff. They have one of the worst jobs and the worst work hours. I hope that they get paid a decent wages for their hard work and sacrifice! When I say sacrifice I mean it, working here is a DANGEROUS JOB!! This particular 7 Eleven will forever be apart of my past and I am thankful for all the memories I had here growing up. I've pass by this 7-11 many times on SamTrans route 121 but didn't step foot in here until today. I like how they have their own parking lot, since not many 7-11 have this amenity. Okay, so maybe there are other 7-11 locations with a parking lot. The staff here are very nice and friendly. Service here is also very good and definitely a very nice spot to come in for a quick grub. read more

We went here yesterday for the Free Squishee day (80th 7-Eleven Birthday) and were allowed to get as much Squishee as we wanted. The flavor were Banana, Bubble Gum, Woo Hoo! Blue Vanilla, Wild Cherry, Pinacolada, Berry Pomegranate. We tried them all and like 'em all except the Berry Pomegranate which was sour and bitter. I love them for the fact that they were generous, not like other 7-Eleven who pretended not knowing about the Free Squishee day. I went in to buy cigarettes but wanted a 2 liter of coke. The shelf stated $249. which I felt was too high. When I when to pay for this coke it rang $278. I told the salesman that it was the wrong price. He proceed to remove the tag on the shelf. He would not charge me for the price on the shelf. He stated the correct price is what it rang. I don't think I've ever been to any 7/11 as much as this one. I love coming here for their hotdogs. They have a special for 2 for $2 which a college student like myself loves cheap stuff. I sometimes only come here for candy. I was sad that they didn't sell the Pretzel M&Ms because i find them everywhere but here. I live a few blocks from this 7-11 and I have gotten to know a few of the workers here, all of whom are pretty nice. I always get a late night crave for a large slurpee and it is so convenient living only a 3 minute drive from one. On top of that, they are always fully stocked with all the Scooby snacks one needs when smoking one's self to oblivion. I'm a usual customer at this 7Eleven, at least towards nightfall. Today I come in around 6:10 and this woman tells me that I should leave my bike outside, and not in a nice tone either. I left my bike lock at home and I didn't feel safe leaving my bike outside. I further question her position and asks if she works at the location, she loudly protested and said she owned the place. None of the workers intervened so I assume my business was not welcome.
