It's been a long time since my last visit to this location (~8-9 years ago), and can't believe the best thing I got out of here is the bottle of whole milk. Soggy donut bottom suggests low oil temp that excessive oil is trapped within the donut. I got a dozen and 50% of them are not in a roundy shape and sagged even more later in the office. On a whim I decided to come here using the coupon that came with the weekly advertisements for $5 for a medium hot or cold coffee and 3 doughnuts. I ended up with more since the maple glazed were more firm to my liking in which I informed the manager. She stated they were made earlier that morning which explained why they tasted more dense and without asking, she gave me 3 additional doughnuts. I was truly surprised and thanked her. I drove all the way to Daly City from San Francisco but they ran out of the Harry Potter donuts. I was only able to buy the Ravenclaw one. I don't get donuts too often, but the last couple of times I came here to Krispy Kreme Daly City, I have received stale donuts, and there have been extensively long wait times in the drive through and the walk-in, regardless of there being one customer ahead of me, or no customers ahead of me. After a long wait behind only one other customer, I pay for my order and receive my donuts. I ordered one Chocolate Iced and one Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled. Both semi stale, and the Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled came like it was supposed to be thrown away - Flat, hard, fingerprints, and smashed. I've been coming to this Krispy Kreme location since I was a kid, and it's still just as special every time I walk in. Today I revisited and scored myself a cute free paper hat, picked up a dozen assorted donuts (including some of the limited fall flavors), and grabbed a toffee iced latte. I should mention that if you do pick the limited flavors in your assorted dozen, they will charge you 60 cents/ per donut. Shoutout to the lady working on September 30th around 3:30-4:00pm -- she had AMAZING customer service! I didn't catch her name, but I really hope this review gets noticed because she deserves recognition. This Krispy Kreme is such a cozy spot, especially on a cold day. It's warm and toasty inside with that irresistible sweet donut smell. They also have clean restrooms available, and I've noticed a couple of umbrella tables outside if you want to sit. The drive-thru here can be hit or miss (sometimes open, sometimes not), but the store itself has always been consistent with its hours whenever I've visited. Parking is plentiful out front, and if you're craving something savory, there's even an In-N-Out right next door. Of course, you can never go wrong with the Original Glazed.. it's what they're known for. But don't sleep on the seasonal flavors, and definitely try their bottled strawberry milk (my personal favorite). All in all, this location is nostalgic for me and still delivers every single time. This Krispy Kreme shares the parking lot with In N Out . I went there on a weekday around 4ish in the afternoon and there was a line. However, the line moves pretty fast. Once I got to the counter, a friendly cashier greeted me. I ordered a dozen of glazed doughnuts. The doughnuts were still warm and kinda melted in my mouth.
