Came here on the first day of the Pokémon theme donut collaboration. I came around 7pm and it took about 40 minutes to get our donuts. They're pretty busy during special events but the workers try their best to help the customers quickly. It seems like they prioritize mobile ordering so I will be doing that in the future. The workers were nice and gave the customers the hot donut samples while everyone waited. I'm not a sweets person so I would say all their donuts are way too sweet for me. On a whim I decided to come here using the coupon that came with the weekly advertisements for $5 for a medium hot or cold coffee and 3 doughnuts. I ended up with more since the maple glazed were more firm to my liking in which I informed the manager. She stated they were made earlier that morning which explained why they tasted more dense and without asking, she gave me 3 additional doughnuts. I was truly surprised and thanked her. After getting lunch from next door, now it's time for something sweet. Got myself a little box of doughnut dots. Just needed a little bitesize of sweetness. A box of 24 cost $8.49. TBH, the doughnut dots looked nothing like the photo outside. They looked like chopped up doughnut pieces instead of doughnut holes. Also, there seems to be less variety of doughnuts here unlike before and it was fairly quiet. I guess Krispy Kreme's are sold everywhere in supermarkets as well which maybe why it's so quiet. Why did the donut go to the dentist? To get a filling LOL Service is not speedy here, recommend going through the drive-through. Somehow they are more attentive with those who drive-thru. When going inside, don't be too indecisive, holds up the line. I usually get a dozen glazed or two, quick in and out. The donut holes have an odd size order to them., must be a Krispy Kreme thing. I go here off and on depending on the monthly specials. The place can get pretty busy. I always try to go on Sunday when they have the cinnamon roll. We had it yesterday and it was super sweet but I like that it was bigger than what it was before. Like anyplace nowadays I feel the prices have gone up. I've been coming to this Krispy Kreme location since I was a kid, and it's still just as special every time I walk in. Today I revisited and scored myself a cute free paper hat, picked up a dozen assorted donuts (including some of the limited fall flavors), and grabbed a toffee iced latte. I should mention that if you do pick the limited flavors in your assorted dozen, they will charge you 60 cents/ per donut. Shoutout to the lady working on September 30th around 3:30-4:00pm -- she had AMAZING customer service! She was the only one handling the line for donuts and still managed to stay so kind, patient, and welcoming. I didn't catch her name, but I really hope this review gets noticed because she deserves recognition. This Krispy Kreme is such a cozy spot, especially on a cold day. It's warm and toasty inside with that irresistible sweet donut smell. They also have clean restrooms available, and I've noticed a couple of umbrella tables outside if you want to sit. The drive-thru here can be hit or miss (sometimes open, sometimes not), but the store itself has always been consistent with its hours whenever I've visited. Parking is plentiful out front, and if you're craving something savory, there's even an In-N-Out right next door. Of course, you can never go wrong with the Original Glazed.. it's what they're known for. But don't sleep on the seasonal flavors, and definitely try their bottled strawberry milk (my personal favorite). All in all, this location is nostalgic for me and still delivers every single time. KRISPY KREME will always out do your regular shmegular donut shop down the street. Especially their original flavors (glaze, sugar, chocolate, etc.) but I would never again spend more than I need to for a decorated donut, no matter the occasion. Arrived at the store with 3 people in line, not wanted to cut ahead of anyone I flagged an employee down to see if I can just pick up my online order. She said I needed to wait. Ok...fine... The 2 people ahead of me happened to order coffees and there was only 1 person taking and packing orders. She seemed exasperated at their (plain) coffee order and told them it will take at least 10 minutes. I patiently wait 15 minutes later when it was finally my turn, it took them about 10 seconds to grab 2 boxes that were already sitting on the shelf. It's been a long time since my last visit to this location (~8-9 years ago), and can't believe the best thing I got out of here is the bottle of whole milk. Soggy donut bottom suggests low oil temp that excessive oil is trapped within the donut. I got a dozen and 50% of them are not in a roundy shape and sagged even more later in the office. I've been in the Bay Area for 1/2 of my life and I've only been to Krispy Kreme once. If you sign up for their e-mail list and download their app, they have specials almost all the time. Recently they offered a FREE dozen of their classic donut for new app users. Between my partner and I we got 24 donuts absolutely free. We picked them up in the afternoon and there were only a few customers. It looked like they still had variety of donuts available. Ours came still warm. I wish I could ask for no icing. 1 donut is 190 Cal. They freeze well too. I've put them in a waffle iron and ate it with ice cream. read more
