This is the neighborhood liquor store and the have the essentials. The essential being chips, soda, beer, and liquor. On top of that there is deli here which is a MAJOR plus! The cost of beer here is a bit higher than most grocery stores, i.e. Safeway. But, can find a decent selection here compared to other liquor stores. The liquor selection is just as impressive. The cost is a bit on the pricey side but they have a wider selection of liquor than other liquor stores as well. There is some produce that is sold here but I am not sure how much I trust it. I have seen some of the bananas that are here and they never look ripe. Too many brown spots for me. The deli here is legit. You essentially have your choice of everything. Plenty of bread, cheese, and meat options and the pricing is fair. One of the more interesting elements of this place is they have local sports apparel as well. So, if you are looking to get a shirt for an upcoming giants or warriors games this place might have just what you need. Just something to keep in mind if you need some fan gear in a hurry. I would say that the only issue that might prevent you from coming here would be the parking in the area. No matter what time of day it is or what day of the week it is you can almost never find parking in the area. I'm very close to the owner and employees here and they've always been wonderful whenever I come in. Just an update. I went into the market for the first time since the incident Jan 2019. The same manager asked if I apologized the the clerk, I said I did; which I did; he said I didn't because she was gone for 4 months, he thinks that the incident just happened a couple of months ago. He also told me to take the review down; and adamantly denies that she called me a fag. He was unapologetic and told me to take down my review. SECRET STASH OF FANCY SCHMANCY BEER!!! I kid you not, there is a secret fridge on the rear right corner of this store with an AMAZING high end selection of local and imported beers and ales. I still can't believe they sell this stuff here and need all you beer hounds out there to please go there and BUY this beer. It's like finding out mcdonalds has filet mignon on the menu. We need to keep encouraging them to carry and sell it. If you've ever been to city beer store in soma, you'll know what I'm talking about. It's almost the same range of selections but instead of a long trek downtown, it's right here, in our little corner of the world in Crocker amazon. Today I bought delirium tremens, Belgian triple style ale with basil, weihenstephaner heff weissbier. They have another 40 others to choose. Also stuff like dogfish head, Abita. They also have other drinks, NINE ginger beers for sale. And plenty of mid low range beer too, for when the wallet gets thin. Please help support these guys, so I can keep conveniently feeding my expensive beer habit without driving downtown or to whole paycheck. Close and convenient. I wish they stayed open and served through the gate like a gas station

One morning, I ran out of the house without the essentials to get to work quickly - MUNI/BART pass or cash. Nope, I don't sneak on the back of the bus. Unfortunately, my keys were also sitting next to the pass on the kitchen counter, so I couldn't just run back inside. I was already running a little later than I would've liked [even though I don't technically have to clock in at a certain time], so I had to think quickly. Luckily, I had my wallet [sadly, no cash], which contained an ATM card. Was heading for the Bank of America on Mission, but then ran across Cordova Market with its massive "ATM INSIDE" sign. Since I wasn't using a B of A card nor did I have one of those no-ATM-fee Schwab cards, I would have to incur some sort of fee anyway. So I ran inside the market instead of trekking for another five minutes. Of course, the story would not be without extra complications. My ATM card got rejected. What?! So an extra seven minutes [according to the cell phone, 6 minutes, 59 seconds] over the phone with a customer service rep. Apparently, the ATM card was linked to a closed savings account. Good going, Shitty Bank [Yup, that's how Japanese pronounce the name of my bank]! ATM fee of $1.99 - not horrific. AND the guy running the store did not even blink an eye when I [without having made a purchase] went on and on about my horrible morning and then asked him to please break a $20 so that I could catch the bus. This is the shady store where Geneva Ave starts turning ghetto lol. Its not actually on Geneva but right behind the gas station. Its open every night I believe to midnight and sometimes even later. They have everything you'd get a 7/11, Waldgreens etc except cheaper. This place is much cheaper than Safeway as well. They take debit/cc with no minimum, do be aware of your surroundings if you come here late at night. read more

Reasonable prices for great produce and every day items. I would probably give them 4.5 stars, but only because I wish their meat section had more choices. Usually corner stores carry candy and liquor and scratchers, all of these things are useful, but not if you want to make a meal. Cordova Market has taken the place of the larger stores for me, that is why I wish their meat section was more robust. The place is clean and the staff is helpful. read more

We came to visit a friend and pulled over at this spot for sandwiches. They were Delicious!!! My daughter whom is picky LOVED the Grilled cheese and said it was the best. The prices are very affordable and at a great bargain considering the quality and quantity given. Nice, quaint market with great service. Deserves 5 stars! One word: AMAZING!!! This place is incredibly convenient because it has everything!!!!! It's pretty much a mini grocery store! They just opened up a produce section and deli in the store and have a variety of delicious items! Lately I've been picking up my lunch from here. Their salads, sandwiches, and pasta's are all delicious and very reasonably priced. The owner of the store is incredibly nice and has great customer service. I love the staff. I don't love the super Italian sub sandwich that I got. My first clue should have been the way Mediterranean ("Meditrean") or pepper ("peper") was misspelled for the items prominently displayed in the case, or how watery and untouched the various pasta and quinoa salads were... It started out with a cheerful and friendly greeting, with all the right questions asked ("would you like ...., ...., and .....?") Little did I know that "heated" was a spritz of Pam and thrown into a non-preheated panini press, resulting in stale-tasting Dutch crunch bread and wilted lettuce... Not worth $6.99. I'm a fan for sure! Location, location, location! This is a convenient local market/grocer that opens early and closes late--especially on the weekends. Their liquor assortment is quite impressive for such a relatively small establishment. Sure you will pay a dollar or two for said liquor, but it's worth all of it for the proximity. However, parking is the key. Parking is hit or miss here. Mostly 'miss', but double parking is often overlooked as you run in to buy your soda, snacks, condiments, treats, and of course favorite adult beverage. I highly recommend Cordova. They will take almost every form of payment. Cash, Debits, Credits, Apple Pay, Google Wallet, etc.... Plus, they deliver! Imagine my surprise when I learned I could have my Stolis delivered! I've been going to this corner market off Cordova for 10+ years now, and I would have to say that the renovations really made this spot 100 times better. It never used to have a deli, nor did it sell any produce for that matter. Now, I can conveniently walk over to the market whenever I'm in the area for family, and trust that I'll be given quality service, as well as finding any random item you can think of : sports jerseys (lol), drinks/snacks, random necessities, and some yummy sandwiches are made at the deli in the back. I got the turkey sandwich with avocado, mayo, and the works, and was far from disappointed. The size of the sandwich for only $5.99 was such a steal - big enough to save for the other half for dinner! During renovation, they also had someone paint a nicely done mural on the side of the market near the gas station of our city's own Giants and 49ers. It gives it a very urban, yet homey feeling when I visit, and I'm happy with the turn they went to make this place better for the local customers! read more

I really like the staff here. They're always very pleasant to me and if I have a question about where something is they always help me find it rather than point in a vague direction. They always have a pretty good selection of items for being a mere corner store. I can walk in needing a card, beer, cigarettes,an iced tea,soup mix, light bulbs, etc, and walk out with all of them! They also have odd items like walnut flavored popsicles, so the shopping trip can be kind of interesting. They're also right around the block from me, so add a star for that. I love this market because it's right down the street from my house. I swear it has all the random things I need! Chili powder for mangoes? Yes. Lemons? Yes. Jameson? Hell yeah! A 49ers steering wheel cover?! Yes but uhh not for me lol. The workers are always nice &they greet you every time you enter. This place is amazing! Actual groceries with a variety of ethnic food and fresh vegetables. It's cheaper than some other grocery stores most of the time. The deli in the back is good too you can just pick up some sliced meats by the pound. It closes at 7 though, so I wish it was open later. read more

I love my go to market/liquor store down the street from my house! It's perfect for drinks, wine, and even when I need lunch/groceries. The deli items are always good! My favorite is the quinoa salad. Sam always has a smile and every one else is helpful and courteous!
