Maybe they will have another nice payout for some poor schmuck like me. However this is your typical liquor/convenience store. They have a bunch of cold cases containing; alcohol, soda, juice, and sports drinks hidden within. There are your typical rows of sweet and salty snacks as well. And we can never forget the sundry items that every place like this has. Pro Tip: Do not enter the parking lot off of Garvey as it is rather narrow. The parking lot is ok and is shared with a donut/sandwich shop and a pho place (on the garvey side). The above tip is important if you have a wide vehicle as I couldn't count the scrapes in the curb next to the parking lot. There is not a signal here either so be a bit careful making a left. The owner/operator is a nice dude but like a lot of places, he is hanging out behind a bandito barrier. I think that there may have been a rash of robberies in the area hence the barrier. However you can safely pick up your lotto ducket or beverages and get on your way =) I did like this place and likely will get more lotto tix here in the future.

I'm writing a compliment which takes place in the city of El Monte Walgreens... I've been a customer for many many years, and what I'd like to let the pharmacy manager know, as well as their customers that there's a lady in the pharmacy by the name of Angela, who happens to be one of the pharmacist. She's fantastic, as well as professional, and with her chemistry background, as well as education, She was able to explain to me about interaction with certain medications that I'm taking. She was explaining to me, and I was able to really absorb the information and I'm very happy. Definitely, I will recommend people that I know with this pharmacy, which is located in El Monte. Thank you, Angela. Please don't forget the pharmacy manager's name is Angie. She's a fantastic lady as well, but Angela is amazing and she got her job done quickly with her knowledge. Once you're ready to pay, they'll pretty much not even acknowledge you. Shelves are very messy most of the time making it so difficult to find what you are looking for. One liquor store has to be within walking distance from your house and for some reason there's always that one person that decides to drive "buzz" to get another round of drinks. Not gonna lie, I used to go to 7/11 which is about a block away from Happy's. Every other day I would go after work or when there was sports game I wanted to chill and watch. I used to think 7/11 had no competition until I decided to go to Happy's. Hell, it was closer anyway and parking wasn't bad. This liquor store can support many habits with the selections they have. Happy's Market carries wine, IPA's, cheap beer (Cobra or Bud Ice), import and domestic beer. Sadly, no hard liquor. You buy booze and munchies and you're on your way out. If you're a smoker they have stuff for your too buddy, they'll support your habits also, win win right? I no longer have to ask or think about driving to get another round of drinks. I'll make that walk with my dog and yes he'll let me come in with her to get my drinks. The employees are always chill and the price deals they have are the only competition for 7/11. Some products are of high quality, and you'd have to hunt for it. For example, I got nursing pots and a nice gardening shovel for only $3.27 total. The kitchen section also has essentials that I'd totally buy if I didn't have them already. They currently carry a lot of Christmas products. There is variety, but it is just a tad more expensive than a Dollar Tree. Overall, I recommend browsing through the shop and see if anything happens to catch your attention!

The people I gifted the cards to, told me the last digits of the cards were already scratched out. The cards were already redeemed before purchasing and now I lost $200. Employees need to do their due diligence and check the gift cards before selling. This is unfair and unprofessional. Never buy from here and always get gift cards from Amazon itself. Lesson learned

An El Monte staple!…read more If by happenstance you are passing through the little ol' town of El Monte, you MUST get some delicious (and nutritious) dairy from the folks at Driftwood Dairy. They've got a drive-thru where they sell their finest dairy products, such as milk, creamer, egg-nog (seasonal), chocolate milk, etc. They also sell eggs, sodas, and other snacks that can be found at your typical convenience store. The service is pretty good: quick, helpful, and most importantly, convenient. Honestly, I am a bit biased when it comes to Driftwood Dairy as this is not only my local dairy ​but the dairy that I grew up drinking at home and at school. Nevertheless, they have quality dairy products that should appease most diary aficionados​ such as myself :) Cheers!

She could have said "yes" and do her quick glance at the meds so i can go paid in the the front. But nope. I had to wait for her to just tell me "yes" like she could have done without waiting in line. Didn't even ask if I want to pay there since I'm already there with her. "Yes". Very nice lady. Very nice. Please do better as a healthcare professional. First time encountering this too.
