I'm not sure if it was because we got there around 12, or if they just don't have other pastries regularly. It was also a lot more expensive than other coffee shops in the area. If we are back in the area we will definitely come back for the coffee and vibes. The inside is beautiful and a really chill place. It was clean inside and the couches were comfy. Their prices were super fair, cheaper than a chain. The espresso shots were delicious and they had some really great flavor options. They also had a "pay it forward" board which was super cute. This place became a staple for us for just the few days we were in Chincoteague and there are no regrets. Normally coffee shops aren't know for their cookies but these were the perfect chocolate chip cookies - thick, the right amount of chocolate and not too sweet. I was annoyed the night before as I had thought there was some sort of breakfast included when I was asking about the times of the breakfast, and he said they didn't have there. So, we ventured into town for Cape Charles Coffee House. It's a cute, historic place with an upstairs area with additional seating. The brunch & coffee was solid & nice staff, but I do remember it took awhile to get the food. Perhaps, they were on Cape Charles time as opposed to DC-Baltimore area time I'm used to...haha.
