Great first time experience visiting this 7 Eleven. We grabbed some muffins, cranberry orange & blueberry muffins from the bakery case that was fully stocked as well as some water. Muffins we're fresh and delicious! Store is kinda small but overall your basic convenience store. Limited parking with only about 3-4 parking spots. Store was clean and organized, cashier was nice. We're down the street in Broadmoor and this morning it was raining and NO LA Times home delivery because of " carrier shortages." My significant other is retired and LOVES his morning paper. I called 7-11 in Sunset and they said yes they did have one copy (probably also only got 2-3 papers delivered commercially) and he'd set it aside for me. I went right down and picked it up. I have frequented this store for years for last minute groceries or lottery tickets and have found the clerks to always be courteous and prompt. If you need a little cash with your purchase (like to buy lottery tickets!) they do not charge a fee on your debit card either. But I really appreciated the clerk putting the newspaper aside for me this morning after a kind of crummy weekend where things go sideways. Of all the 7-11 franchises I've used over the years, I have found this one of the nicer ones. And, it's good to keep your significant-other happy with his newspaper. read more

So me and my brother go to this seven eleven all the time on our skateboards and sometimes when we have a beverage or snack we eat it in the parking lot. Most employees allow us to skate in the lot but we were asked to leave once and we got a life ban from one employee in particular. We didn't get his name but we will do our best to because one warning isn't reasonable for a life ban for something as innocent as skateboarding. Chalk it up to another Saturday: the boy toy got stung by a sting ray. Per usual it was a very dramatic experience, but there was a beacon on the horizon. 7-Eleven had all the necessary essentials to get us through, and Amy, or Dr. Amy as she should be called, knew exactly what to do, down to hot water and Benadryl. Ben and Brian are like the cat's pajamas There is a much bigger 7-Eleven just up the street but I don't want to go there just because of the hospitality and the respect that this 7-Eleven has given me sometimes I will get other co-worker and they are okay just they don't go above and beyond like Ben and Brian do. I usually coming every day or every other day and Ben is fun outgoing and makes me laugh every time I come in there is two 7-Elevens very close to my house but I refuse to go to them even on my way home from work I highly recommend coming to this 7-Eleven, #BEN#1 he's cute and is willing to go out of his way to help me I usually come in twice a week for a certain are you done and then always make sure it's in stock for me low key it's the spot. Because it is Sunset Beach sometimes the lines can be a little bit longer than most 7-Eleven it's more on the smaller side of a store but it's the bee's knees read more

The clerk was as not wearing a mask or gloves behind the counter. She said she didn't have to. As I left I watched her handle the hot dogs and other food without a mask or gloves. I have been in this location before and other clerks always wear their protective mask and gloves. She was nice at first but defensive when I asked why she wasn't wearing a mask. Literally The worst service ever! I just waited 15 minutes while the guy at the register counted the whole drawer and I continued to try to pay and he said please just wait just wait just wait. Who counts the drawer in the middle of the day! Not only was he rude he did not care and I literally left and went to the liquor store next-door. Horrible horrible service! I have been a travel nurse for over four years, and have frequented countless 7-eleven's across the country. This one has definitely got to be one of my favorites. It may not be the biggest or have the largest stock, but it is such a pleasant experience every time I come in. As a nurse, they have been so supportive of me throughout the pandemic. No matter how I feel walking in, I always leave with a smile on my face. The service here is always exceptional; they truly care and it shows. read more

Such a weird experience...I don't even know where to begin! So last night my fiance roped me into coming with him to collect his "big winnings" from his lottery ticket (TWO bucks) with the promise of a Lo-Carb Monster drink and some candy. (I'm a sucker for sweets & caffeine) We walk in and I immediately go grab my Monster drink and start to peruse the candy aisle. (side bar: I'm a wee bit tipsy and therefor am in my own world spacing out) Anyway, all of a sudden I hear my fiance say "Excuse me? So what you're telling me is that you won't sell me another ticket? Well then I will take my business elsewhere." He then walks over to me, takes my drink and puts it away. So I'm *totally* confused at this point and cannot understand what happened. (PLUS, I want my damn drink!) Apparently he cashed in his "big" winnings and wanted to re-buy another lotto ticket. The cashier "Janak" rings him up for the wrong kind of lotto ticket and my fiance says "Well, I actually wanted the Mega ticket (or whatever) but that's ok, I'll take that and will buy the Mega ticket as well" (he didn't want the guy to have to void the wrong ticket) Somehow the clerk-jerk "Janak" got all pissed and said "No, you wouldn't be happy if I sold you the other ticket so nevermind!" (obvious anger issues) And with that he walked away and proceeded to clean out some coffee pot. I still don't understand why "Janak" got so angry but I will never purchase anything from there again. I go to 7-11 at least 3x a week. This is, by far, the worst of them all. The guys that work here are whatever, but they don't bother brewing flavored coffees last 10am. I've asked them before and they won't bother. So if you go to 7-11, like me, for blueberry or salted caramel coffee, don't waste your time in this shithole. They never have deals on protein bars here either, like the other 7-11s I go to. I highly suggest going to the Seal Beach one instead, or hitting up the one on Bolsa Ave back by the 405. Gnats buzzing around the soda dispensing machine - these gnats consume raw sewage - HEALTH HAZARD. Area disgustingly dirty. This store NEVER participates in ANY of the 7-Eleven rewards application items. Every time I visit there - the clerk does not scan my app correctly and I do not receive the credit - WHICH I PAY FOR. The most recent visit - a man who said his name was "Suresh" was the cashier- or at least that's what I think he said. The cashier would not honor the 7-Eleven app free products, as none of the employees at this location ever have. When I inquired about it - he was mumbling something under his breath, in a very thick accent, and I could not understand his comments. I was told that ALL 7-Eleven stores are required to participate in this program - apparently this store is exempt. the graveyard guy peter ( i think that was his name big white guy with a red beard really out of the ordinary for a 711) was nice pointed to me all the deals (cigarettes bananas etc etc), was friendly easy to talk to got good vibes from the guy (compared to the rest of they people who work there) hes the only reason im giving this a 4 star i have dealt with the morning girl seems like she hates her job. if you going to go to this 711 go during the graveyard shift the graveyard shift guys seem pretty cool but avoid this place during the day day shift is really robotic or just plain no joy in there work. if they lose there graveyard guy i probably will not go here ever again nor will any of my 4 roommates read more
