Geez, don't judge a book by it's cover!! Such an unassuming location in a strip mall by the freeway (hwy 405) but BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE and clean bathrooms!!!!! We all know that Starbucks is a chain, but this particular one feels like a family-owned coffee shop/bakery because of the warm and caring people that work here. I am free to bring my work here, and consider it my very comfortable "satellite office". Alicia, Hailey, Jackie, Josh, Michelle, Miriam, and Nataly (i.e., the Starbucks "Dream Team") are absolutely amazing! They are courteous, smiling-friendly, and professional. They also treat my school-aged Daughter like their own little sister which I so appreciate! I noticed Jasmine had just started working here, but she really seemed to know what she was doing, and exuded the same friendly exuberance as the Dream Team. I was truly surprised to learn that she was actually in training when I first met her. Jasmine is so caring, making sure that each customer is as happy as the happiness that she always shows. I truly believe that Jasmine will make a wonderful addition to the Dream Team. Not just the Dream Team though. Everyone that works here are amazing - I just have not had the pleasure and privilege of getting to really know those that I have not mentioned (and I will certainly update in due time). FYI: There is no drive-thru. When comparing to other Starbucks, it's pretty basic here. There is only one table in the middle of the space, with benches facing the outside windows. There is also a small sitting area in the corner. I'm not a big Starbucks guy, but when I do, I get a Cafe Americano, which was made right. At 5am, the table I was sitting at was dirty, with crumbs on the table and dried chocolate on several of the seats. The gentleman at the counter was friendly. This was my quick coffee stop while I was en route to baja. It was a cool rainy day, and I was in the mood for an iced cold drink. I wanted something strong, to give me enough energy for most of the day. So I ordered a cold brew. The baristas were hard at work, processing orders efficiently, and making sure everything was in order. While I waited for my drink, I noticed that this place was kept immaculately clean. This includes their restroom, which is great for a place that gets quite a bit of customers. This location has quite a bit of space, but due to Covid 19 restrictions, sitting down and enjoying coffee indoors was not going to happen. No biggie, as I still had quite a drive ahead of me that day. Parking is found inside the small shopping center in which this Starbucks sits. Despite heavy traffic in the adjacent streets, I found no problem finding a parking spot that day. The surrounding area is decent, and I saw no shady characters around. Much like many other Starbucks locations, this is a great pick. Keep up the good work! read more

Was our little guys 13th birthday so he signed up for the app now that he's old enough to do so and was excited to get his first birthday drink after being an already loyal Starbucks client. The app didn't report the birthday drink so this location denied him, 13 years old, on his birthday, wow! You guys could have made him the drink. You spill, make drinks wrong, etc. all the time but heaven forbid you give good customer service to a 13 year old boy in his birthday when your app isn't working properly. ZERO STARS. This is the closest Starbucks to my house and it consistently under performs. Every time I try to give it a second chance my iced drink is water down and sour, or my hot drink tastes like warm milk. Pretty much your run of the mill starbucks. It's easy to find because it's right before the 405 freeway entrance. There's parking in the front and in the back which is kind of nice. If you park in the back you simply walk through the middle of the building and there will be a walkway that leads straight through (which beats walking around the entire structure). Inside is actually rather clean and the bathroom have the codes to prevent people from randomly entering in. The demographic of people here is mixed as well and I didnt see as many high school kids as I normally do for starbucks near high school locations. The baristas are friendly and my beverage was made within 5 minutes. The only reason I would not give this place five stars would be that the parking is extremely limited. Once it gets backed up, along with the crazy traffic from this busy intersection, you may wait a ridiculous time just to get a "quick" coffee. Overall though, this starbucks ain't bad. read more

Came to THIS one on Springdale in Westminster on my way back from LAX because I wanted to pick up some Starbucks DECAF. Not ALL Starbucks carry DECAF, this one was the exception. The barista who attended me was very friendly and helpful in selecting what I needed, from what was available to the size I should purchase. Great choice: Decaf Expresso ...... kind of an oxymoron, right? However, once I tried it, I am now hooked on this DECAF. My experience was memorable enough for me to make this a favorite pitstop during my long distance driving excursions out of OC. read more

The problem with Starbucks isn't the beans as much as the employees and corporate policies. The employees because they don't like understanding the difference of coffee flavor profiles. These employees like sugary flavored coffee drinks and pink lemonade. Rarely do you ever run into an employee that actually knows how to brew a cup of coffee. I can literally write a whole book on this topic but this is Yelp And I have to keep my review short. Secondly I blame Starbucks corporate policies because they fail to train their employees correctly or they just don't care. I've never once witnessed an employee that was brewing fresh drip rinse out the old container of coffee but rather just brew a new batch on top of the old batch. This is why when you order a drip coffee, there freshly brewed coffee has a bitter taste to it. It's mixing with the old coffee hence the bitter taste. I recommend if you'd like coffee just order an Americano and if you like cream ask for it on the side because they will drown your coffee with cream and give you a latte. I've been forced to patronize Starbucks every day of the week this month during January because I purchased their January refill mug that ran $70 this year.(a $30 markup from the previous years) I can guarantee you I won't step a foot in another Starbucks for the rest of the year read more

I've been doing Uber eats for 6 months now and anytime I've picked up from a Starbucks I'm asked if I'm there for pick up (at the mobile order window). Well today I walked up to the same window standing there waiting to be acknowledged. Another customer walks in and someone says "I'll be right with you". I'm thinking to myself "Um ok am I chopped liver". So I asked if someone would acknowledge me and with attitude I'm told if the order was ready it would be out front on a table. Then I'm asked if I'm at the right store. Then I'm told there was no order for the name I gave. Oops just kidding, they said "there's a sign there for Uber have a good day the order is there". How many Starbucks are there in the world? Does anybody know? In any case, this is another one... Each Starbucks has its own vibe. This vibe is defined by the location, the interior, the staff, and mostly the neighborhood. This Starbucks is located just off of the 405 in a strip mall. Yes, if you know how to do it, (get off at the Westminster/Springdale exit), you can hop off the freeway, grab your java, and then easily move along back onto the 405 South. I doubt that most people do this though. This Starbucks seems far more inhabited by locals. The overall interior space is nice. It is roomy and airy with the traditional Starbucks tables seating the usual Starbucks customers glued to their computers. Overall, it is nice and clear. Outside, they have a few tables: a couple along the front glass and a couple in the more expansive paved space. But, this is not a great Starbucks for outdoor coffee drinking. Inside is far better. In terms of parking, this Starbucks in located in a strip mall, so they have shared parking. As it is not a strip mall that houses a lot of sought after business, I have never had a problem finding parking here. Overall, of all the Starbucks in the world, this is another one. The staff is nice and they serve-up your favorite, expected Starbucks drinks. read more

I come to this Starbucks whenever I'm on the way to/from the Westminster mall or Huntington Beach. They have great service and friendly employees, with the exception of new hires. They always try to make each visit special, whether it be remembering the little things such as your name or a good hearty conversation that will make you forget about the stress you were having before you walked through the doors. They are also slow after the lunchtime and rush hour period; especially during the evenings. So if you're a student like I am, this would be the best place to be. Just bring some headphones to channel out the noise from the machines and music. It's conveniently open later on Fridays (10pm), but on all other days they close at 9pm. The only downside to this Starbucks is the location. It's located in a small plaza off of the 405 freeway with only one entrance (with additional parking in the back). Getting in and out of the lot during rush hour is difficult as well, but of course not impossible. Because the parking lot is so small, some of the parking spaces are designated for compact cars, but obviously if there is no where else to park, you'd have to squeeze your SUV and make it work. Also, since it is a small cafe only store, they don't carry some of the pastries as other Starbucks locations. Despite all that, good vibes and nice people. I will definitely recommend this particular location and will come back. read more

Hmmm...I find myself asking a relatively deep and thought provoking question as to why I continue to purchase anything from any starbucks. I am a darn fool. Anyways, I'll start with the positives. The cashiers were wonderful. Greeting me with their beautiful smiles was enough to brighten my heart. It definitely makes for a good start as I go about my day. I also adored the astetics of the cup my beverage came in ..that's all for the positives... I ordered the pumpkin spiced latte...and I absolutely hated it. My gosh...lol what were they thinking? This drink reminded me of the verse:  "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness." -Matthew 23:27-28 (NIV) I feel like a modern translation of these verses would go a little something like this: "Shaaaame on you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like cups of starbucks coffee, which look aesthetically pleasing on the outside but on the inside are saturated with processed sugars and all things bad, ugly, and horrendously icky in the world. In the same way, on the outside you appear to coffee lovers as righteous but on the inside you are full of diabetes and mendacity." -Matthew 23:27-28 (Daniels translation ) ...or something along the lines of that Overall, i found the drink was obnoxiously sweet and impossible to finish. Staff is okay about moving tables around since there is only one table large enough for 2 laptops. Service: Great as usual.
