This 7-11 is one of the worst. The employees are rude as f*ck. I saw one Indian old guy behind the counter talking down on some Hispanic person. You can feel that this guy thinks he's above that guy. I wanted to say something but I know it's going to turn into a big argument so I mind my own business. This place is fantastic ! The worker let me take a free coffee because I waited in line for a while lol I love it ! it's cleaner and they're totally nicer , old owner was rude and sometimes would keep an eye on me as if I was going to steal something. This place is terrible! I don't mean to be racist and I give everyone a fair chance but time after time again the workers here screwed me over each time! The men behind the counter are so rude, and they rip you off with their prices! I went to the drink section and found that cokes were $1! and I decided to purchase it along with those 99 cent candies just before the checkout. I understand that there is tax and everything but when I checked out, he didn't even tell me a total and then when I asked him he said $2.50 so I thought, okay thats fair, and paid with a 5$ bill. Will be my first and last time coming here. I wanted to get my usual medium sized cold brew. Every other 7-Elevens sell them for $1 including tax. I asked the cashier, (older Chinese speaking male. The only reason to come to 7-11 is to get lottery tickets when the jackpot is over 200 million or to get the nachos. They have the best nachos outside of going to the ball park to grab them. Twice already the older raggedy India man worked at the register and twice hes given me unnecessary attitude and display of rudeness. Yes working there is depressing but no need to show your unhappiness with that stick up your behind. My card failed once on his old payment machine so I was going to use another card and he got upset cuz the credit card company was going to charge him twice. He responded with "I'm not making any money." Welp. Suck my d*** cuz I'm swiping it again to buy my gallon of water for the day. Ridiculous! This place is gross. The department of public health and food handling department should visit this 7 11! I wanted to get an iced coffee and they ran out of vanilla!!! So I asked the worker named Geisy, and she had an attitude from the start. I put my half full iced coffee ( filled with mocha) and waiting for the new fresh vanilla! She touched my cup and she didnt even washed her hands ! She filled up my cup with the used vanilla without even asking me. To top it off, she didnt even say sorry when i told her did you touch my cup?!!!!!!! I dont know where her hands been and she touched my cup!!!! Disgusting. I could've served it myself and to top it off she gave the used vanilla to me!! Are you kidding me !!!!!!!! Disgusting. She needs to get retrained especially handling people's drinks!!! BE CAREFUL!!! Took kids to 7-11 in Monterey Park on the corner Garvey and Alhambra. Be careful with the Indian lady that works there. She likes to rip people off. I got 2 small slurpees and 2 packs of corn nuts (2 for $2). Went to pay and she told me 7 something. I wasn't paying attention so I gave her a $20 and she gave me my change. Then as I was driving off I was like wait a minute how the hell was this 7 something. My aunt who lives down the street said be careful with that Indian lady she cheats people. She tried to cheat your grandpa with his lottery winnings (he won $16 she gave him $10). So I decided to go back and buy the exact same thing. This time she tells me 5 dollars. So i asked her how was it 7 something earlier. She said you had 3 slurpees. I was like so if this is $5 and slurpees are $1.50 how does that add up to 7 something. She started saying irreverent stuff and mumbles. This lady if freaking scandalous. Be carful when you buy stuff from here. I would try to avoid this place if possible. Karma freaking Indian lady!!! Cashier was rude when I asked her about the app. And after I paid I notice that one off the promotional discount wasn't applied so I asked for a refund and she said next time no refund because it's not her fault promotion ended but signs are still up... never again going there. This business doesn't even deserve a single star. I walked in this store needing something to drink. As soon as I was in the store, it only took a few seconds of me picking up an item, deciding to not get it, and then put it back neater than before to already get scolded at by a worker. He said I was "messing up the store" and gave me dirty looks. I just ignored him and followed up with my friends in the coffee section to later realize he was following me around the store. As soon as one of my friends picked up her phone and snapped a photo of A WALL, we all got yelled by the worker for taking a photo and having no "common sense". He later on said to us in a rude way, "how would you like it if I went to your house and took photos". My friend said sorry and we all looked at him and walked out the store quickly and then realized that there were five cops getting snacks and no sign that says "NO PHOTOS". If we were doing something wrong in the store I'm sure one of the five cops would have said something already. As for the rude way we were told to not take photos of a wall and the fact there was not a single sign anywhere that says to not take photos in the first place, this store is very close to a high school and they get about 200 students going in there every day after school. I'm sure those student customers have taken plenty of photos in there already and have actually been rude and ruined she shelves unlike us. I came to this 7 Eleven to purchase items and support their business but instead got berated by a worker when none of us did nothing wrong.
