On a Saturday afternoon in July, I came here for Starbucks drink and sit to enjoy. I came around 2pm and there were some empty tables. It wasn't too loud inside in which I was able to concentrate. Staff here are welcoming and quite patient - I had quite a few questions regarding modifications and the cashier was kind to walk me through the different options. The 3 stars was more for the quality of the drink. I believe Starbucks updated the type of matcha they use, but for some reason the iced matcha latte I got didn't have a super vibrant green color that I've received in the past. I contemplated asking for extra matcha but decided to go with the standard recipe (4 scoops for a venti). The flavor ended up being a bit faint for my preference, so I'd likely order a different drink next time. If you're a matcha fan, this might not be the location for you. I'm not quite sure how many people work at this store. For example, right now, I feel like there's at least six or seven employees. However, when I walked in, I was not welcomed not by a single person. I stood at the register for a while waiting to have anybody acknowledge me or take my order. Eventually, two people approach the register and one of them is a manager maybe she's a shift manager. Either way, what she did was tell her employee to check out immediately. He went ahead and did that but still I had not even been acknowledged. I'm sorry, but that's some pretty crappy customer service. At one end of the bar drinks were being made very slowly. And on the other end, closest to the kitchen or back room area, there were several employees huddled around, talking about the difference in packaging orders, and also the differences in packaging of shipments of lemonade that they received. I don't know about you, but that seems pretty unimportant when you have a customer waiting. I was really unhappy with the service that I received here. And the amount of time that it should've taken to prepare my drink, it took a considerably long time as well. I did request a coffee cake loaf. I was never asked if I wanted it warmed up. There are all these little things that I guess I'm so used to because of the other store that I typically go to, but regardless, nobody acknowledged me. Customer service was locking. And then on top of it all, you didn't even ask me how I would care for my loaf to be prepared. That was kind of crappy. It looks like you guys have a lot of mobile orders going out and that's cool and all but what about the orders for the people who are in your store right now? The employees here could've been way better about even acknowledging the fact that I was there and maybe even let me know he will be with you in just a second. I'm so sorry. Nope. Not a word. Not a welcome nothing. The store is very neat and it's kept very tidy. One of the main tables in the center of the dining area is used apparently for hours on end. Been coming to this location for years and never experienced what I have until now. When I walked in to pick up my mobile order. I saw two female staff that I assume they're new? They seriously need more training on making the drinks more better. The vanilla cold brew was so water down and can barely taste the coffee aroma. And my iced latte is too milky and basically taste like I'm drinking straight up milk. Come on, you guys can do way better than this. Parking: Parking is always available as this Starbucks is located within a plaza. Outside: There is plenty of outdoor seating however this place gets very busy and can get noisy as a lot of elders like to hang out and play board games here. It does not have a drive through either. Interior: This location has high foot traffic as it does not have a drive-through and could make concentrating in work a bit harder. A lot of people like to come, chat and hang out so I wouldn't recommend this spot for work. But because the spot is so lively, it's a great place for creative work, to people watch, or hang out with friends. Service: The baristas here are helpful and friendly. I've never had any issues and they've always been willing to fix my order if there was a problem. Tip: During Starbucks reward days, this place is very packed. When I called to let them know, I spoke with someone named Vivian. Instead of immediately offering a clear solution, she asked if I wanted to come back later or tomorrow to get the cream cheese. It felt inconvenient and poorly handled -- almost as if I was expected to bring the bagel back just to have cream cheese added. After I questioned that, she finally agreed to replace the bagel as well. When we ended the call, I thanked her, and she simply said "sure" and hung up without any courtesy or professionalism. The interaction felt rushed, dismissive, and unprofessional. The customer service was so poor that it honestly makes me not even want to return to this location. There are about 7 to 9 men smoking in the very entrance I came out smelling like cigarette and was asked to change my clothes at worked since it was intolerable for my co workers to worked with me because of the smell. Been on a hunt for great London Fog lattes and saw Starbucks makes a mean London Fog. I decided to stop by and order one. The service was SO, SO good! I'm not a frequent Starbucks goer, so when I went, I didn't see London Fog on the menu board. I asked the lady, and she was really nice! She confirmed they still make those and asked if I wanted the drink hot. She also helped checked my gift card balance. Super great service! To top it off, she got my name's spelling right too!! The London Fog uses two Teavana Earl grey tea bags. The drink comes with them too! I didn't think they would leave the tea bags in the drink. The first sip I took, it was light strong flavor of Earl grey. The Earl grey flavor is stronger than the milk flavor. I liked how the Earl grey taste wasn't too strong. I did expect more, just because I saw a London recipe online share that the Starbucks London Fog drink is very popular. I did like how the drink comes with the tea bags so that you have a choice to leave them in longer or shorter depending on how strong of an Earl Grey flavor. When I think of Starbucks, this is the location that usually comes to my mind. It's pretty convenient based off the location. The parking lot for this place is huge and it's shared with multiple businesses so you'll never have an issue finding a parking spot. Drive way entrance is low car friendly. Unfortunately there is no drive through for this location. Another plus is that Starbucks is opened early pre-COVID and when I start work at 6:30 AM, it was pretty convenient to go there and pick up some food on my way into the office. This Starbucks in terms of drinks is pretty consistent and they haven't made mistakes for my orders yet. This Starbucks is pretty big as it usually has a lot of seating for people studying and they even have outdoor seating with a water fountain outside. Drinks are made quickly here too. Food is a... questionable thing. Sometimes the food is good but most of the time the food is really dry for some odd reason. Other Starbucks food aren't as dry. During COVID they take precautions like no more indoor seating and they gated the tables to prevent people from going to the corner. Restroom appear to be blocked off by tables but they are not. No code is needed for the restroom. Overall, pretty good Starbucks. Drinks a good here, avoid the food. Service is clean. Good place to hang out. read more

Been coming to this Starbucks for many many years. Normally, the drink & service are alright, but this morning I order ahead on the mobile app and my drink wasn't ready. I'm usually patient especially if they're busy, but I ordered a simple, regular hot coffee (nothing fancy or difficult to make). It took close to 20 mins from the moment I ordered to pick up. Absolutely ridiculous!! Yes, they had customers and and a few drinks to make, but it wasn't crazy busy or anything like that. The only reason I gave a 2 star instead of one is because one of the barista was nice & attentive. She asked me what I ordered/ was waiting on. Her customer service was good & spot on. Even thank me for my patience as I got my coffee. That how to do it and provide good customer service. Would totally give her 5 stars & tip her too, but the other 2 baristas, (while they are working) took their sweet time as if they were on island time. This incident made me late to work. Ugh! This is a good Starbucks. Located in a busy plaza on Valley Blvd with Big 5 and Shabuya. It's at the building off Valley, not set back where most restaurants and stores are. This Starbucks is always busy but not for the usual reason. There are always a bunch of middle aged people playing chess! If you walk up and even though it looks crowded, there's usually not a line to order or pick up drinks. They don't have a drive thru which can be a deterrent, but the do have walk in and mobile order. Standard Starbucks beverages, snacks, merchandise and gift cards. Indoor and outdoor tables are available. Service is quick and friendly. The parking can be a pain for close spots, but there are lots of parking if you walk a bit. Recommended! read more
