Went on a Saturday around 12ish. It wasn't busy, but there was a nice consistent flow of customers. This place is locally owned!! Parking was plenty because it's in a plaza area. The trash can was overflowing, trash was on the floor, and the extras shelves were a bit out of order, BUT the service was great! The place wasn't filled with customers, but the two people behind the counter were quite busy! I got the green n' ginger smoothie. Diego was the one who made it and he was fun and talkative as he made my drink. Thank you Diego!!! My drink came out quite tasty. I haven't had Jamba Juice in a long time so I decided to try out the location in Monterey Park. I have only been here twice and both times I had either an unpleasant or uncomfortable experience . The first time I came to the store, the manager, Elizabeth, was extremely unprofessional and had a hostile attitude throughout my visit. I saw her yelling and speaking in an aggressive tone to the customer in front of me over a minor inconvenience. There is no need for a customer to be talked down to. My second time coming to this location was even more unpleasant. When it was finally my turn to order, the employee kaya, didn't greet me or acknowledge me politely. She simply looked at me and said, "What do you want?" That is completely rude and dismissive. The employees at this location need to be more respectful to customers, especially the manager who sets the example for the rest of the staff. I wont be coming back! read more

It has been a while since I've visited Jamba Juice and I decided to come for the acai bowl. I was impressed with all the fresh fruits that it came with and all was perfectly ripe. I went to show my parents how delicious it looked and my mom went in to order her own. For the normal price of acai bowl, I would consider it to be on the higher side but it was worth trying it. Because they blend the acai, it is on the liquid-y side compared to scooping it out from a frozen bucket, but it was still delicious with good flavor. read more

This is my second time giving this location a chance. To my dismay, I was still disappointed. It's hot as heck in LA and people are obviously going to gravitate to places with fresh juices/ smoothies. It's COMMON SENSE to make sure to move swiftly and adequately to meet the in-person AND online orders. Tell me why there's not a drop of common sense here. The workers solely were focusing on online orders despite taking the order of the walk-ins they were getting. I was the third person in the establishment, by the time my order was ready there was literally 10 other people waiting. People were annoyed and frustrated including myself. This Jamba has been operating in Atlantic Square since before I was in high school, so I'm surprised that they had so little reviews on Yelp! I came here because I got an offer for BOGO Free for T-mobile Tuesdays. I decided to get an Orange C Booster and a Strawberries Wild, both in large. My total came out to $9.46 with the BOGO applied. Given that I had a deal, that was an OK price for me, but I don't see myself coming here at all if I had to pay full price. Located in Atlantic Square near Ralph's and Chipotle, you can expect parking to be hard to find sometimes. I advise you to park in the separated section near the street, because if the parking lot gets busy it is so much easier to find a spot and to get out of the lot from there. I ordered ahead on the app, I came in right when the app said my order would be ready and the drinks were being poured into the cups right as I entered. I didn't really interact with the staff too much other than picking up the drinks but both workers seemed very nice. The drinks taste great too. The vitamin c booster is a favorite of ours and tasted so good. I visited this location on 12/18 and purchased 2 ginger shots using their self service kiosk. After ordering and getting charged for my order I was told by the staff that they "ran out" of ginger shots, okay no problem. I asked one of the 2 employees working there, Diego C. If I could get reimbursed and he said no not immediately but I will be receiving a refund within 3 days, I said okay and left trusting that I would be refunded with no problem. As days went by I noticed that no refund was ever posted to my account. So, I visited the location for a second time on 12/29. I was helped by another employee that was extremely helpful, I wish I asked her for her name but besides the point she let me know that nothing was ever left for the manager regarding my refund and that she would go ahead and make sure the manager gets my refund request this time and I should be receiving it within 3 days again. Now, I visit the location for a third time on 1/2 and I explain the situation again to an employee that was there. The employee calls another employee over to help me and that employee turns out to be Diego C. I explain to him that it's my third time in the store trying to get my refund and I haven't received anything. He goes to the back then approaches the register and tells me that the refund wasn't approved so I ask him if there is a manager on duty or a number I can call to get this problem resolved and he says no. He then proceeds to open the register and give me my refund in cash. So I ask him "why wasn't this done the first time I was in here and requested a refund" he then replied with "because I'm not supposed to be doing this, I'm going to need to replace this with my own money" so I said "if what you're saying is the truth you should definitely contact your HR because that is illegal and no refund should be coming out of YOUR pocket" I told him "I'm sorry but it's not the $10.98 I'm worried about it's the principle. I'm not just going to let Jamba Juice a corporation that makes millions, keep my measly $10.98. And he should contact HR immediately because refunds coming out of his pocket is unethical" he then proceeds to try to insult me and say "I'm not worried about it I get paid good here it's only $10.98, enjoy the $10" The level of unprofessional behavior is so unreal. From the management being non existent to the staff being extremely rude to staff having to pay out of pocket for customer refunds?!? I have never experienced such horrible customer service. Is this location even open? I don't get it. This is the 3rd time I'm in the area and it has updated hours but everyone's out here waiting at 11:10AM and nothing. So annoying. I gave them a good 5-10 minutes to get situated and noticed that there were orders being pushed out and placed on the counter. I walked up and attempted to open the door but it was still locked. A new worker, Jacob, was taking my order (& most other orders). I'd hate to complain, but when it comes to sanitation, it's disgusting. Knowing that this location takes FOREVER (good luck waiting 30+ mins), I didn't mind coming by today as I've been craving Jamba. However, Jacob, serving food & drinks, scratched his head a couple times. Keep in mind he has never worn gloves when my mom & I was there. If you've had your Food Handler's, one of the first many BIG rule is to wash your hands every task you switch up & when you touch things. If you touch your nose, wash your hands. If you pick your nose, wash your hands. If you even touch your work's order tablet, wash your hands. Common sense & a REQUIREMENT when you're working in the food industry. Before my order was done, I walked up to him & asked if you need to take your Food Handlers before working at Jamba (just to see if he's aware), he said yes. I told him that I've watched him scratched his head 3 times total while waiting for my order the entire time. He declined (a couple times). I asked, "really? I will contact your manager to view the surveillance cameras" He hesitated & I told him that he can scratch his head, fine, BUT WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE RESUMING taking the orders. I also pointed out that the way he grabbed cups, he pinched his fingers by the rim. He declined & said he grabs the cups by the side... He then apologized, washed his hands, & wore gloves. As soon as we walked out, my mom threw her drink away because she does not want to risk catching anything as she is also IMMUNOCOMPROMISED. I don't think a customer should be nanny-ing a TRAINED EMPLOYEE about knowing when to wash hands even with proof while still denying it lol. I've taken my Food Handlers few times already & I'm pretty sure anyone can find it self explanatory the first time. Horrible experience came in March 8 tweenty minutes before the location closed there was a line already anout 3 parties ahead. People before me must have been waiting longer the two girls behind the counter were only focusing on the to go's. When the second drink was only 1/4 way filled she got the other drink to pour more in the second cup. Both cups were filled a little above half way.
