The Orangevale 7/11's, the one on Greenback Lane/Main Ave 7/11 and the Madison Ave/Kenneth Ave 7/11 Stores are horrible. The Staff, are Lazy and don't care about their Jobs, you order DoorDash Delivery for certain Flavor SLURPEES (Coke Cola) they just give you "Whatever Flavor" but the right one? Both of these Stores do this. The Main Ave new Store is the worst, I ordered a Diet Coke Fountain Drink(I'm Diabetic) and I got Dr. Pepper?? Today 08/06/25 I went to the Main Ave Store again, got a Diet Coke fountain drink (I thought) it was Dr. Pepper again (they hooked the wrong Syrup to the Diet Coke)????? I'm giving this little 7-11 nestled in the neighborhood 5 stars and I will give you my top 3 reasons. 1. NOSTALGIA! I grew up with a 7-11 on every corner in the Bay Area and in fact, we had on one my block. This reminds me of that store. It was the first place I tried nachos and the first cool place my mom let me go to alone when I was growing up. 2. Convenience.. I mean we all know we pay extra for convenience so I won't comment on price. It's nice to have a spot to stop for if you forgot something or just a place close to home to grab a soda or coffee or even a movie from out front. (RedBox) 3. Variety. With the additions of healthy food selections; fresh fruit, pressed juices, hard boiled eggs, you have a wide selection and can make smart, if you choose, choices. I've been coming to the 7-11 since I was a child. It used to be ran by a guy named Jesse, but I haven't seen him for I'd say 6ish years. When he worked here, I'd definitely rate it 5 stars. He was always extremely friendly, the store was clean, and I never had any negatives. Now that it's been new people running the place, It's definitely changed. I've had a couple pricing errors here. For example, I got a Rockstar energy drink and it came up as 24$ when they scanned it in. They noticed it and went and got a different type of Rockstar so my payment would be the right amount. But I think whoever is inputting the price in the system has been doing too quickly or something. There's also been spills whenever I go in. Of course, the spill might have recently happened so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's been a recurring thing. It's also gotten a lot weirder. While I was in line, I watched a man walk in and grab stuff, look at them, and tell them he's walking out with the items. The clerks just went "Oh noooo well once you walk outside that door there's nothing I can really do about that!" and then the workers laughed. I just watched a man steal stuff and leave, and nobody cares in the slightest. Are they used to people just coming in and taking stuff? It's definitely gotten weird there. We also decided to try the 7-11 pizza. We've been going to every pizza place in Sacramento to see who has the best pizza. We decided one day to just try out the 7-11 pizza for fun one day and were actually surprised. The pizza was a 10/10 on the price for sure. it was 15$ for two large pizzas, and they took 5 minutes to cook both of them, which gave us time to grab snacks while waiting. The pizzas surprisingly had a lot of sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. The pepperoni is the square cubed ones that are in the Totinos pizza rolls. The dough had bland flavor, but great texture. When we rate our pizza places, a 5/10 is an average pizza. Anything lower than 5 is lower than average, while anything above a 5 is better than average. We gave the price a 10/10 because it's cheap and extremely quick to make it. The flavor was surprisingly a 5. Nothing special about it, but we didn't hate anything about it either. Definitely a surprise for sure. With all of that being said, It's still a 7-11. It's nestled back in the neighborhood so a lot of people can just walk down the street and get something to drink or snack on. The convenience and location is absolutely amazing for everyone in the neighborhood. I'm just not a fan of the spills not being cleaned, pricing inconsistencies, and weird encounters constantly happening. read more

This 7-11 has been slowly declining in the last several years, little by little. Have lived in this community for almost 15 years ,and this has been the go to for me and alot of us living here locally. I have been trying to not go here as often as I can,"meaning alot". But from time to time it just makes sense, since I live so close. Almost everytime I have gone there recently , there has been some type of customer service missing. Will continue to steer as far away from giving them my money. The owner Ravi is a stellar guy and down to earth but can't get past the recent employees that have been hired. The employees are who make the image of your store, not the owner. Hope it's just me , but highly doubt it. read more

Sent my son down to buy eggs for me and he forgot to check them. 6 were broken and you could tell they've been that way for awhile, the carton had dried egg on it. The carton was also expired by a month. I sent my son back to return them and he was told it was his fault and he should have looked at them first. Who sells expired broken eggs and won't issue a refund??? Shame on you 7-11!!! read more

The 7-11 on Auburn and Whyte Ave in Citrus Heights just tried to rip me off for 20.00. I asked for 25.00 worth of has( the guy rang me up for 45.00.....if my sweetie hadn't caught the "mistake" right before we left, the dude would've kept that extra 20.00......and I'll bet I'm not the first person to have that happen. Lousy customer service - again! Morning clerk loudly talking on his bluetooth while ignoring customers. Asked for soda fountain syrup to be replaced as it was out, he grunted at me and continued his conversation disappearing into the back. When he came out he never said a word to me, he was still on his bluetooth, and when I tried the soda fountain I found the syrup was still out. I left. Have avoided this place because of employees like him & will continue to do so. Went to the other 7-11 on Madison & Kenneth where the employees are always friendly and helpful. read more

Horrible, disrespectful, and rude staff. I always take my three boys there every Friday for treats and today will be the last day I step foot in there. We had all our things on the counter, I paid, and then the older staff member stopped my 10 year old as we were leaving and said he didn't pay! He rudely said to me I told him the wrong number of drinks, and that my son was trying to take a doughnut. Sorry sir if you can't add up what is sitting on the counter that's on you, not me or my 10 year old! Could not believe he would treat his customers that way, or treat a child the way he did. read more
