I've never seen a coffee shop that feels like hanging out in a cozy living room with some nostalgic pieces, like classroom desks and vinyl. Got the double matcha and banana matcha and love both of them so much! It came in a large cup unlike most matcha places that only gives half of the portion. Wanted to stop by and try this place before they were closing. They have a new management and have been open for two weeks. They had such great customer service and even let us stay after they were closing because they were still fixing the place up and let us hang out with them for a little bit. I ordered the Pandan Milk Tea with boba and almond milk and the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with boba and regular milk. When I asked about the pandan, the cashier (who also made the drinks) mentioned it's made from syrup. The pandan drink definitely had that distinct flavor, and the brown sugar one was on the sweeter side. I actually enjoyed the boba here more than at other nearby spots. Both drinks with my adjustments came out to $13.50 plus tip, with boba as an extra $0.75. I noticed they don't offer customization for sweetness or ice level, which was fine for me. We were headed to Rancho so we decided to stop by Aun Brew & Co for the first time. It was easy to find. There was plenty of parking. We were greeted immediately upon walking in. After looking at the menu we decided on a few drinks: Brown Sugar Oat Latte - I was expecting a stronger coffee (more like a traditional vietbame coffee). It was just ok to me. Banana Pudding Matcha - My oldest daughter LOVED it. She said it tasted like real bananas and the walnuts on top were a delicious addition to the drink! Cherry Lemonade - Full of flavor. I was craving a Banana Pudding Matcha Latte. I searched on Yelp and Aun Brew & Co popped up. I don't go to Rancho Cordova much but I think I might now haha. I of course ordered their Banana Pudding Matcha Latte with almond milk. The matcha was okay but with the banana pudding foam top mixed in it was really tasty! The matcha alone isn't the best or very strong but something about that banana-matcha combo just makes it all better. There's definitely better banana pudding matcha lattes out there but I don't mind this one! Probably because the biggest plus is that the size of the drink is such an awesome deal for about $7ish! I feel like most places charge upwards of $8+ for half the size. Parking is easy which is always a top priority to me. Service is super fast! Meh atmosphere, random decor, not the vibe-ist. Got a double matcha for my order. Order in store if you want this. Online order doesn't display that option. They definitely use enough matcha powder but I wish the cup is smaller so they don't fill the cup with so much ice. It diluted the 50% sugar to nothing left. There's half cup full of ice left in the cup after I finished the drink. There's room for improvement for the drink. Service is great. Vibe is good inside the store. read more

Drove out here for an afternoon caffeine boost. Pretty good location with tons of stores and restaurants all around, I can see myself getting kbbq across the street then coming here after! I originally had my eye on the banana pudding matcha, but when I arrived I saw a strawberry hojicha. I've been craving hojicha lately and I liked the unique strawberry twist on it so I had to try it! It has the strong roasted hojicha flavor with a hint of strawberry, which was just the perfect amount. Not enough places have hojicha on the menu so I'm glad they had a couple options here. We were greeted by the sweetest family who owns this place, and their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. For drinks, we ordered the Banana Matcha with oat milk. It was good, but I think it would taste even better with whole milk. We also tried the Pandan Milk Tea with pandan foam, boba, and coconut milk and it was absolutely amazing! My son had a game near by so I needed some coffee. I looked on Yelp and this place showed up . My son and I decided to give it a try. Walking in we got greeted by their friendly staff . Everyone was super friendly and attentive. The place is small, but cute. They have some unique decorations like a Nike centerpiece with a plant inside. Everything looks very clean and organized. Their service was quick and kind The big difference in this spot is they seem to emphasize matcha and hojicha drinks with a variety of east and south east Asian flavors- I am speculating but this spot is likely Vietnamese owned based on the flavor profiles vs 4estea which is very obviously more Filipino inspired flavors Both are great and I wouldn't give the edge to one or the other more We got the banana matcha pudding and the white grape less sweet It came out really fast and really good! Not to sweet tea flavor does stand out but is not bitter or too strong [although I like it this way more but can understand it puts most people off] Their matcha is decent quality and does not have a heavy grassy flavor people might complain about in lower quality matchas but it doesn't have the deep green hue ceremonial grade matcha has either (which would probably make the drink way more expensive anyways) Overall rating 4.5/5 stars! read more

The matcha craze is in full force and the matcha here is.....just alright. Smooth, but tastes pre-sweetened. Surface-level earthiness. I specifically had the banana pudding matcha and the banana pudding layer is pretty tasty. Mixing the matcha and pudding layers together it's a pretty decent banana matcha drink. I tried the banana matcha with crushed walnuts on top. I liked how my drink was not overly sweet. I didnt order any boba in mine. Stopped by Aun Brew & Co in Rancho Cordova and tried their pandan hojicha and tarojicha. Both drinks were creamy, smooth, and had a really nice depth of flavor. The pandan and taro flavors came through beautifully without being too sweet or artificial. For my personal taste, I wish the hojicha flavor was a bit stronger to balance out the richness, but it was still enjoyable. The shop has a chill vibe and the staff was friendly and welcoming.
