I have a tip for you: mechanical car washes that use rollers or brushes will leave swirls, streaks, and fine scratches on your paint. "Touchless car washes usually use harsh chemicals to clean your car, then use high pressure spraying to clean it off. If you're okay with all that, then there's no problem. The price of gas was about average for the SF Bay Area. I had to get mid-grade to offset some cheap gas I pumped the night before. I went inside to use the restroom. WOW! This restroom was super clean. It was like a showroom for bathroom fixtures. The food mart was clean too. It was well stocked with all the snacks, drinks, and candies. BTW, do you know why gas stations sell junk food? Very rarely do you see celery sticks and melon balls. Drivers are usually in a hurry. It's a fact that hungry drivers get tired faster, and you don't want to stop again do you? So it's a good idea to grab a drink and a snack for the road. Maybe something to wake you up. For $1.50 I get a taco made of waffle cone with a filling of vanilla ice cream topped with some sort of chocolate fudge sauce. As I look at the FDA label I realize I'm going to get heart failure if I eat any more than one of these. 55% of my saturated fat packed into 290 calories. Holy cow.
