The cashier/owner didn't like fhe color of my AMEX platinum card so he rejected it for fraud. Owner didn't want to pay the transaction fee on my credit card. Charged me full price for 2 slurpees on a very hot Saturday. I had $6 cash. He took it and told us to get out. It was mid day. We are casually dressed while people with a nice car. DO NOT BUY JUUL PODS FROM THIS PLACE. I was charged $32.99 per pack of four and the Shell gas station down the street (Across from Woodside Plaza) had them for $23.99. Took my purchase back to 7-eleven for a refund only to be refused after talking to the cashier who called his manager who claimed to be the store owner and the owner of the Shell gas station down the street (There are two Shell Gas stations on Woodside road). The merchandize were not opened and I had a receipt. Shame on them for ripping off people then refusing a refund for unopened merchandise. Never going there again. read more

They need to fix customer service here, I go here all the time to grab a water or a soda I live around the corner. Yesterday I worked a 18 hour shift, and stopped by there first to get two bottle of water. I went to check out and looked like a new employee and he wasn't wearing his mask right. I want to pay my debit card was declined twice (I forgot I paid rent that day so my card was maxed) and this cashier goes "you broke you have no money in your bank or something?" I go excuse me!?! Supper rude so I ran to my car and grabbed money out of my glove box. I go back in and he says "oh did you beg for that money?" my friendly neighborhood 7-11, just a couple blocks from where i live, so it's easy to get here by foot and grab a few essentials, especially when i'm in a pinch. there's only a few parking spaces in front of the store, so i'm glad that i don't have to drive here...this particular intersection is also very very busy, as a pedestrian, i sometimes have to wait several minutes before i get the walk sign! as for the selection, this is on par with all of the other 7-11s i've been to, your refrigerated section of water, juice, milk, soda, beer, and your non-perishables like granola bars, dried fruit snacks, nuts, chips, etc. of course, who could resist getting a slurpee at 7-11? definitely something reminiscent of my childhood days, getting the big gulp size of bright red sugary goodness! 7-11, always around for my convenience. :) read more

Just like any other 7-Eleven they have what you need at ALL times of the day! Located across the street from a retirement home and near access to the freeway, gas station, and liqueur stores. I usually come and use their ATM Machine but then the food smell starts to tempt me! Workers here are pretty nice and friendly. You don't have to worry about parking because 7-eleven has their own parking! Big plus! I would definitely be back! read more

They kicked me out of the store because I protested the guy picking up food spilt on the floor and then putting it out on the hot rollers to sell to customers. When brought it up that I seen him he said he didn't care. When I yelled at him that this is America and we don't do that, his manager kicked me out of the store. He said I can never come back. I threw my $2 for my coffee at the counter as I was five people back in line. These people do not care about their customers. I never eat that stuff after getting food poisoning there in my 20's. #Boycott7eleven Called customer service several times. Was listening to elevator music for over a half an hour. Never got through. After reading other yelps in here. It's the older Indian (from India) man with the goatee and the burly Indian guy (about 32) in the morning that did this. I see other people write about the older guy. He also swore at me and runs that place like a skid row garbage bin. The long red haired mature lady is real nice. If I could leave 0 stars, I most definitely would. I posted this on Google as well just to try and warn people. I came into this 7-Eleven store on 5/6/21 to purchase two drinks and to deposit money onto my card at the register. This was my first time being inside of a 7-Eleven, so I wasn't too familiar with anything. The clerk at the register, Satpal Singh, had a disgusting attitude from the start. I told him I wanted to pay for my drinks with my card and then load money onto my card. Already, he seemed to be irritated with the transaction at hand. I informed him it was a rather large amount of money before even taking it out of my pocket. He said nothing. As soon as he saw that I had a wad of 20s that I needed to deposit, he started talking at me like I was purposefully wasting his time and was saying nonsense like people are going to come in and hurt us. And steal all the money. This is during broad daylight and I purposefully waited until no one else was at the counter. I allowed him to continue on his rant about how I should have known they only accept 100 dollar bills (he said it takes too long to count 20s and put them in the safe. Upon calling and filing a complaint with corporate, I was informed that this is not an actual policy.) I had even told this employee this was my first time at a 7-Eleven. The least he could do was be patient with me or politely inform me about his made up policy. Satpal then said he would only accept $500 to deposit (half of what I had). As I was counting the money to give to him, he continuously interrupted me by yelling "four dollars!" at me and making me lose my concentration. I then had to stop counting and ask him what in the world he was yelling four dollars at me for and all he said was "Fee!" In an even louder voice. I then started counting my money again to hand to him, but he again interrupted to yell at me and say "Don't count! I will count! You don't count!" And demanded I hand over my money to him. I then asked to clarify "so there's a $4 fee to deposit my money?" He then got an even worse attitude with me about it and got even harder to work with. I asked him multiple times why he was being so disgusting and rude to me. He then said he wasn't being rude and that I was wasting his time. After getting nowhere with this man, I ended up cancelling my transaction and he then told me to get out and was incredibly disrespectful and rude. Again, I asked why he was being this way and he responded by asking what I wanted from him. I told him I didn't want anything from him and he told me to leave, so I told the man you know what, you have a good day and as I left I called him a f***ing a**hole. After filing a report with corporate, I receive an email from Satpal himself since he's unfortunately the manager stating that everything I said in my statement was pretty much false and that I "abused" him when I called him an a**hole as I walked out the door. Had this employee exercised his ability to effectively communicate and be patient with me, this situation would not have happened. Unfortunately, it seems that English and communication skills aren't a requirement for this job. TL/DR: Owner is a jerk who doesn't care to acknowledge you're a human. Call corporate if you have any trouble, but I say just take your money elsewhere. read more

Dirty, nastiest 711 I have ever been. Smells like feces when I walked in. The clerk is very dirty and smelly. His fingernails are unkept and dirty. Sarpal the cashier was just plain rude and very confrontational. I came in with a bunch of winning scratchers. I had quite a few so I told him he could ring up the man that was in back of me first. He took my scratchers and said some were expired. I told him they weren't. He picked up a holiday one and threw it at me saying it's expired and is 6 months past the sell date. I look all around for an expiration date, but there was none. I tell him it hasn't even been 6 months since Christmas. He told me if I want I can check it myself then he proceeded to tell me that I have to check all of them myself or he won't accept them. Why??? I know they are winners. He just could not be bothered with my tickets. I was trying to help him scratch off the bar codes. Mind you it's a small strip of the scratcher and does not make a mess. He gets mad at me and tells me I have to go to lotto desk because I'm ruining all his merchandise, which I'm not. I get upset and tell him he's being ridiculous and that I've never had to do this to turn in tickets, so he gets mad and tells me I'm ridiculous and to leave because he will not cash in my ticket. OMG we bought lottery tickets in to redeem and the man was so mean to my husband. We understand the desire for us to scratch off the numbers on the bottom to confirm winnings but he was off the charts and should be fired for talking to a customer that way, It was hostile and not necessary almost violent, We should not have been treated that way. I have been a resident in Redwood City my whole life and have been going to this particular 7-11 for years. Never have I been treated so rudely ever at this location with the exception of today. Today I went in to retrieve winnings from my mothers scratchers and was treated nasty and rude by the franchise owners wife. Beware!!!! This 7/11 is very convenient for my family and I but after what happened last week I have instructed my children not to go there anymore! Thursday morning I went into the store yo get a beverage and a pack of cigarettes to get me through my work day. After waiting in line for what seemed to be at least 10 minutes. The cashier finally calls for help. I'm now getting excited since the line is starting to move. It's my turn now; I ask the cashier for my cigarettes. She grabs them and I say very politely that those are incorrect. She then turns around and mumbles something. I then ask her to repeat what she had said because I did not here her. She then starts in on me about when I'm asking for cigarettes I should be more clear. I'v come in here several times and asked for them the same way without a problem. As I'm paying, I was called a bitch then I was asked by the cashier if I wanted to go outside and fight her. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day but I will not risk the saftey of my children or there friends by allowing them to go into an establishment that employees such a loose canyon! read more
