The menu selection is nice and simple, offering matcha and hojicha options. There are also small desserts like cheesecakes, cake rolls whole or slice and tiramisu. This tea shop is nice to go to after work to relax and decompress for a bit. Items my coworker and I ordered- * Hojicha Strawberry Latte - light sweet, soy milk and less ice. Cute place that is tucked away behind Drunken Monk izakaya. I came here for a mommy daughter date…read moreday to indulge in some dessert and card games. Decor is cute but sleek, vibes are calm, bar seating by window and a few small tables with seats. Ordering is fast at the kiosk front desk which doesn't seem to have a cashier. Lots of tasty drink options with milk choices and customizable sweetness and ice level - much appreciated! Cakes were delicious and filled with freshly whipped cream. We had the hojicha and biscoff ones. Not incredibly busy - a lot of orders were takeout. Cons: A lot of things were out of stock by 1pm but maybe this is due to Mother's Day. Pricey but the items were high quality. Store is a small footprint with limited utilities (no WiFi, bathroom was temporarily out of order). Parking is very difficult- it's on el Camino so the cars are unforgiving if you're trying to parallel park, and the road parallel by a block is not much better. It has an alley and a very cramped space in the back for a lot. Expect to walk.

I was really hoping to try their morning bun or monkey bread, but unfortunately, both were sold out. However, I did get to try the Kouign-amann pastry and a peanut butter cookie. The peanut butter cookie was amazing. It was not overly sweet or intensely flavored, with a lovely peanut butter cream filling between two cookies. We also ordered two cappuccinos for my parents and a caramel latte for myself. The total came to about $28 for everything, which feels pretty reasonable for the Bay Area. The cafe itself had a really great vibe. Very cafe-like with a unique decor that blended old-school bakery charm with modern touches. Parking was a bit of a trek; we ended up parking quite a distance away on a residential street to avoid paid parking and walked a bit to get there. It's definitely not the most convenient location for parking. Despite that, the place was packed, which is always a good sign! The service was great. They took our order efficiently, and while we waited, it was clear this is a very popular spot. I'm determined to go back and try those morning buns and monkey bread!

I've purchased a little spider plant and an alocasia polly, which have both been great. The employees are knowledgeable about plants and give great recommendations, especially regarding succulents. They also have a fun selection of cards and gifts by local artists, although some of the prices are a bit unreasonable (like $40 for a tiny planter pot). The coffee shop is fine, but less exciting. Most recently, I tried the Bicerin off their seasonal specials, which was a Cortado with Nutella. I thought the Nutella would be somewhat mixed in for sweetness, but it was literally just a teaspoon of Nutella in my drink. I've tried their Chaga Matcha in the past, and it was also just okay. Will return for the plants and ambiance!
