One small heads-up: the menu is a digital screen, and it wasn't working when I visited -- so you're ordering a bit blind, leaning on the bakery case and whatever the staff can tell you. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing going in. And you're really here for the baked goods, which hold up. The kouign-amann was the standout -- deeply caramelized, lacquered, shatteringly flaky with that signature sugar crust. I also grabbed two macarons (a berry-pink one and a teal with chocolate filling) that were exactly right: crisp shell, chewy center, generous filling. No complaints. The case is stocked with range -- lemon bars, quiche, chocolate cherry walnut cookies, confetti sandwich cookies, Florentines, a vegan peanut butter option, pineapple upside-down, and more. Plenty of GF and vegan labeling, which is nice to see. You can watch them pulling fresh trays from the proofer behind the counter. A few other notes: it's a small operation, so selection depends on what's come out of the oven that day, and the working area behind the counter is tight and a little cluttered (charming, but not polished).
